Scholars Townhouse Hotel

We booked Scholars for our one Confirmation dinner for 13 people. We were offerd a private room off the main bar area which was absolutely beautiful. On our arrival , our host Catherine quickly identified our son to congratulate him. It was most of our familys first time at Scholars, so Catherine gave us a history of the building before taking our order . Her service was outstanding , nothing was overlooked or too much trouble . The food was amazing and we had the most wonderful evening. Thank you to all the wonderful staff, but Catherine truly made our evening super special . We will be back!!

We stayed here overnight to attend a friend's wedding, we were pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was the photos don't do it justice. We found the bed really comfortable and the staff were pleasant from check on to check out. Would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to stay in drogheda

This is the second time I have stayed here and once again the moment we arrived we were greeted with such a warm welcome. The room was perfect and the bar/restaurant has a great atmosphere. Excellent service and great food. What an amazing breakfast also. Amazing hosts always going above and beyond.

First time staying - excellent hotel. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Ate in the bar -food was lovely too. Great pints in the bar. Only negative was room was small and very it was very warm in the room. But overall really enjoyable stay and will def stay again if down in drogheda

Fabulous lunch on Valentine's Day... delicious food, wonderful Staff... simply the best! Highly recommend this beautiful venue.. we ate in the bar and we're so well taken care of! Thank you to Mark and the team... a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Gorgeous hotel right in the centre of Drogheda. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The interior of the whole place is amazing. The room was so cosy, we had a huge and comfy bed. They had so many amenities in the room which is a great touch. The highlight was definitely breakfast, everything on the breakfast menu is 10/10. I will definitely be back!

Scolarstown House Hotel.|I celebrated my birthday in style at Scolarstown House Hotel last night. This Hotel is the jewel in Drogheda’s Crown. From the moment we arrived we were looked after in a manor of five star luxury. I cannot thank the staff enough for such a wonderful day and night. How lucky I feel to have experienced such high quality service. Your love of the perfect service to a customer shines through. |Thank you to the door staff/ the lovely barman/ the waiting staff for our meal and the servicing staff. Exceptional service. 5star. To the chef thank you so much for going off menu to assist my love of fresh pan fried cod. It was a stunning combination of fresh fish and vegetable mouth watering good food. Everyone was so impressed with the food they have done nothing but speak so highly of it today. Well done to this establishment we will be back!!

It was an absolutely pleasant experience at Scholars Townhouse. From the fantastic table carefully reserved as requested to celebrate our anniversary to the exceptional food, we felt nothing but joy. All the staff were friendly, and we received a delightful surprise anniversary dessert at the end. The only regret you'll feel is not visiting this place sooner.

This was a lovely small, privately owned hotel in town. It has a private car park, restaurant and lounge, breakfast area, and small lobby. The hotel is historical in appearance but has had all the necessary upgrades to make it modern. The staff here is really friendly and that made the stay really nice. Our room was quite small but highly functional. We would definitely return here.

Food was very good. Very good value for the Sunday special and a little bit pricey for the normal menu. Very nice building and dining room. Staff were professional, courteous and very accommodating when we had a late addition to our party. I'm taking one star off as my brother who has dined here a bunch of times claims that some menu items can be a bit inconsistent. My meal was totally fine. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I hope to go back soon.

A hidden gem. fantastic food and service. Great staff. Nicest hotel and restaurant in drogheda. I eat out allot and this is a top spot.
