Schott NYC

I really wanted to have a good experience at Schott on La Brea, but the customer service was disappointing. We walked in with a hold, were greeted at first, and then the moment we started shopping for someone else, the rep completely disappeared. No assistance, no checking in, and no help reaching items that were harder to grab. For a store at this price point, I expected much better service. Hoping they improve their attentiveness.

I travelled to go to this store and was disappointed by an out to lunch sign on the door. I travelled to Japan and was disappointed by everything being size small or medium. One day these guys will figure out how to sell me a jacket.

. I went to this store to buy a jacket.. the cost is 970 dollars.. plus the fur collar of 120 dollars for a total of almost 1200 dollars.. I offered 1100 dollars.. The shopkeeper refused my price.. When you have a business you have to meet the customer.. it is right that the customer also earns something. I left the jacket in the store.. I went away with my 1100 dollars.. the shopkeeper has 1100 dollars less in the store's cash register.. I am the winner, the shopkeeper is the loser. I will buy the jacket in another store where there will certainly be a person who understands how business works.

I was in town for a work trip and had bought a previous Schott elsewhere that wasn't a great style for me, so was nervous to make that mistake again. James and the team were very patient with me, answered all my questions, and found the perfect style and fit for me. Very happy with the purchase and service

Finally got my motorcycle jacket after years of buying inferior quality leather jackets. I should have done this in the first place. Just do it! The service James provided was exactly what I expected from such a highly regarded brand. He was patient, informative and made my experience one to remember. Thanks James. Now it’s time to ride!

My experience at the La Brea Schott NYC in Los Angeles was amazing! Their assortment of leather jackets is fantastic, the sales people were extremely friendly and helpful! I love my jacket! I will definitely recommend this store to all of my friends!

My son was visiting me from NorCal and he asked me to take him to the Schott. He went to school in NYC so he picked this business. Parking can be challenging. I was delighted by the excellent service. My son was taking sweet little time to pick out his jacket but the young lady who helped him out was very helpful and accommodating. He ended up getting the soft leather one with the liner. He tried on several different one and he was contemplating between black one and brown one. He ended up picking the black one. He was very happy with his purchase. Two thumbs up.

Outstanding service. The salesperson, Jaylin (sp), was very patient as I went in thinking I wanted the P213 lambskin moto. After hearing what I wear/style and where I work, etc, he also recommended taking a look at the P234 lambskin cafe racer resulting in a lot of back and forth between the 2 jackets. Left with the cafe racer and couldn't be happier. Outstanding fit and soft leather which gets better the more I wear it. Super versatile for work and hanging out. Not too heavy, and you can layer it over a hoodie. Highly recco Schott and the LA store.

I had a great experience at Schott NYC. They were extremely helpful, and took a lot of time showing me all the jackets I was interested in. They answered all my questions, and I feel they provided me top notch customer service. I went there just to look, and I ended up buying a jacket, and a lot of that had to do with their great service.

The employees at this store have always been incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the jackets, sizing, and recommendations. Believe me, after purchasing about 4 jackets here and being incredibly indecisive, trying on and putting back tons of jackets before ultimately deciding, they never once rolled an eye or made me feel bad about taking too much time. When I apologized for being in there so long they assured me that an expensive decision like this takes time and to not worry about it. I really like the vibe here of being helpful when asked and not being all over me. As for the jackets themselves, to anyone who hasn't purchased a Schott jacket, the quality is indescribable. I will never purchase an All-Saints, diesel, YSL, or other designer jacket again. It is truly not even comparable and I would have never known if it weren't for Supreme collaborations. I have purchased a 618, 613, 613S, and lambskin racer from this storefront and believe I have an addiction at this point. I understand the price point is high and has definitely jumped in the last 2 years, but the weight, hide selection, smell, zippers, and build quality of these jackets is next to none. This is what you would expect from a designer brand like Gucci, YSL, LV etc but are actually receiving the top quality product. Will definitely be returning for a 618HH in the near future and want to add a 118 to the collection as well.

About a month and a half ago I went in to window shop. I never expected my wife to green light an expensive jacket purchase. The sales experience was great. Both the manager and sales associate gave me multiple jackets to try on and I impulsively purchased a style that I liked in a fit and leather that I would later realize that I disliked. I went in yesterday and the manager immediately recognized me. He asked me about my daughter who had come with me in my last visit. I told them that I wasn't happy with the jacket purchase. They agreed to help me find something else and walked me through their lineup a second time while they explained to me the differences in fits and leathers. We chatted about their favorite jackets while they were checking out my purchase. I will be definitely be coming back to Schott for my next leather jacket.

Purchased both the 654 cafe racer and the 571 mission unlined racer. The fit on the 571 is excellent (75 inches tall and 205lbs). The quality of the leather was equal in both, so I returned the 654. If you are military they give you a 15% discount when purchasing online. Right out of the box I put the 571 on and in 72 degree weather I sawed down a Christmas tree. I was well protected from the sap and needles in my new SchottNYC 571 mission in black cowhide. I tried on others from All Saints, Cole Haan, Coach, and Rag&Bone. Schott was the best. And the best history. Thank you very much for making me smile.

Love this brand and the LA store staff are always nice and friendly. Would like to visit the NYC store one day.

I'm not a clothes guy, never have been. My two exceptions are high-quality leather jackets and rocking sunglasses. Perhaps it's sexual, I don't know. But wave a new, wonderfully-crafted hide beneath my nose and all bets are off. I'm in habidashery heaven. Try buying a new leather jacket in L. A. in July. A near impossibility. One boring night found me deep in the bowels of Google. And damn if Google didn't set me right. There is a custom leather shop in NYC called Schott, NYC that pops out amazing leather creations 24/7, 12 months a year. And to ice it, Schott has a wonderful outlet right here in L.A. on South La Brea Ave. This place had my name on it. I am now the proud owner of the most fabulous leather jacket I have ever seen. Now I just need the weather to change so I can wear it day and night, night and day even to bed. Thank you Schotts. I love you!

I wanted to try on a few different Perfecto jackets to make sure my next purchase here is correct. I'm a proud owner of a Perfecto but wanted to see other styles. I was well taken care of here by Christian. Christian was very nice and patient with me. Excellent customer service and a nice offering of a discount for us Veteran's. UPDATE: I came back to purchase my next jacket and found the size I really am. Christian was very helpful again and got me the jacket I was looking for. Excellent customer service!

Product definitely on point. I bought a jacket from them when they were at the Americana in Glendale. Definitely one of the favorite leather jackets. Reason why I'm getting this store a one star is the service I got last time I was there. I was looking around to see what they have maybe I'll pick up another jacket but the employees there man...Stuck up to say the least. I mean these jackets ain't cheap. Gotta pick the right one. As soon as you start asking questions they seem to be less interested in helping you. They make you feel like are you gonna buy a jacket or not? Or else I'll help someone else. Product is nice but I'm not gonna get treated like that. I'll spend my hard earned money somewhere else.

This is where you buy a leather jacket. Don't bother going anywhere else. Seriously. Worn different leather jackets from all different brands (all saints, IRO)...it stops here. This is the brand I'll wear forever hands down. Also...go in the store and get the experience. These people know what's up and they will I repeat THEY WILL find you your perfect fit. I wish I knew the names of the gentlemen that assisted me because they were fabulous. Treated like a queen. Best money I have ever spent. Thank you Schott La Brea!!! Love you and love my jacket!!!

Was able to check out the new store and it looked amazing! The staff looked very happy, the store looked fantastic. The location is way better than the last location. I was able to bring my boyfriend who ended up purchasing his first perfecto! Very excited for the new store and whats to come!

I had bought a pea coat from Glendale location a while back, but was here recently looking for a coat for my wife, unfortunately they did not have it in stock! Giving this establishment a solid 5 stars just on customer service! Even though they did not have what I was looking for, the two guys working at that time were really helpful. They even took the time to look at their website and help me figure out what would be my best option if I was still interested in buying that specific pea coat. They even answered questions I had about other coats in their store and were very friendly and knowledgeable. The only downside to visiting this store is parking. No parking, only street. But if you get lucky you might find one right in front of store, so swing by if you have a chance!

Ok so truth be told I havent been in here yet. I actually went to the Glendale location and forgot to review it! haha. I love this store and I love the selection of leather jackets they have. The sales people are nice and it's just an awesome store. I actually ended up buying my jacket on ebay because it was cheaper but I would still buy it from this company. Just good quality leather jackets... absolutely worth the price!
