Our stay at Schuchmann was the highlight of our trip. We stayed there for one night and loved every minute of our stay. We got a 2bhk villa and since the other room was empty so we got the entire place for ourselves. The villa is huge and very aesthetic. It has enough heating to keep the villa warm in December winter. The dinner was included in our plan and it was good, the restaurant had very cozy vibes and food was tasty but the portions were very small. Wine tasting and tour done by Nina was nice and we were given a lot of wine for wine tasting. We were the only one there so it was like a private tour for us. The tour happens once every hour till 7 pm and you can choose the slot once you reach the property. The wine spa and massage was very relaxing. Would highly recommend trying it out. Breakfast spread was a bit disappointing, they can definitely work on that.

We spent two nights in the middle of winter and had a delightful stay. The wine tasting and tour session was excellent. We sat by the fireplace and played Uno and drank wine that made for a cozy evening full of family camaraderie. The views of the snow-capped mountains are spectacular. The rooms were clean, housekeeping and reception took good care of us. The only minor issue was no thermostat in the room. We cracked open a window to cool it down at night to solve the problem. The location is useful as well. It is in the middle of the Kakheti Valley. I highly recommend a stay at Schuchmann Wines Chateau.

We had a two night stay and were upgraded to a family room (Room 1) which had two bedrooms and two shower rooms.|Rooms are simply furnished but functional, perhaps a bit outdated and dark and could do with a room safe. Our room had a separate sitting room as well.|The shower rooms are adequate but with old fashioned shower heads and could do with upgrading.|Breakfast is quite rudimentary and spartan but the evening dinner was very good indeed.|Package included a wine tasting and visit to the winery both of which were well conducted and we were able to try some additional wines at dinner for minimal cost. |The property has a spa and outdoor swimming pool and has enormous potential with a bit of upgrading.|The setting is magnificent and staff were friendly and we would certainly use it again.

Great place to stay. We had amazing time, had a chance to do a wine lesson with amazing guide that called Nina and really made the lesson and tasting unforgettable experience. Beside that the location is great and the facilities nice (could be better maintained). The restaurant in the place was great as well. The only thing that was a bit to simple is the room.

Stunning views and amazing location! We loved going for walks in the garden and breathing in fresh air. We also had spa booked and it was definitely very pleasant and worth paying for. Unfortunately the food was a big disappointment, the meals were overcooked or it felt like it was just warmed up, some meat was impossible to chew. The breakfast was also questionable, no options to choose from, just eggs, rice and sausages. The coffee was only instant coffee and I believe a chateau like this should at least offer decent filter coffee. The rooms were a bit in bad condition. There was dust everywhere and spider webs around the air conditioner. The shower cabin also had some black mold. Overall it was decent experience however it felt such a shame that the place is no longer well maintained like it used to.

We stayed here for two nights and it was just amazing! The vineyards were beautiful and the wines were great. Special thanks to Nina for a great wine tasting tour where she told us all about the great wines that they produce. We had a lovely time here :)

i liked our stay at the chateau and relaxed very much but there were a couple of things that bothered me a bit. the bed was very hard and the bathroom smelled very much. the staff informed us that the wine tasting was until 8pm but when we got there they said 7pm so we missed it and since we only had one night it was a bit disappointing. the wine spa was incredible though and the place is very nice. overall the things i didnt like i wouldn’t typically comment about but for its price it was a bit disappointing.

Our 2 night visit (staying in a cottage, with shared lounge area) was very comfortable, with a spacious bedroom, and pleasant outdoor space, from which we walked (via quite a 'lumpy' stone crazy-paved road) to the main building for reception, meals etc. We had , however, to keep the bathroom door closed, as the 'drains smell' from the bathroom was unpleasant. The well-run estate offered 2 swimming pools, a lovely treat after the laid-on 'entertainments' of bread-making, walnut-dipping, grape-picking and treading which were all fun. Our hostess who described the wines we tasted at our 2 dinners was excellent. It was, however, a bit of shock to find one was expected to pay GEL7 for a cup of coffee at breakfast (instant coffee was the alternative).
