Yelp
A roadside stand with food (mostly seafood) served out of a portable trailer. Ample picnic tables and a nearby marsh area bordering the New Meadows River make the surroundings pleasant.
Read a previous review that rated the lobster roll poorly. The lobster roll was good. While not overstuffed, the lobster meat mixed with mayo was flavorful and the bun buttered and toasted perfectly. The roll does come with lettuce, which I don't care for, but I didn't ask them to make it without, so my bad!
They're rolls come with either hand-cut fries or their own homemade onion rings in a basket for $19.95. I opted for the rings as did my date. The onion rings are stellar, which confirmed what I'd heard. They are perfectly prepped and then fried. They were the perfect blend of crunch, onion-ey goodness, and not greasy at all. I detected a bit of salt, which didn't necessitate any salting on my part. You could eat them w/out ketchup, or with. Either way, they are very good.
They have other options including fish tacos, fried oysters, and crab rolls, too. Also, some veggie spring rolls.
Definitely worth jumping off Coastal Route 1 if passing nearby, or if in Brunswick or Bath, heading out the Bath Road and looking for their spot near the New Meadows River.
