Schwabinger Wahrheit by Geisel

Beautiful small hotel right in the heart of Munichs Schwabingen, with easy access to public transport and walking distance (30’) to Marienplatz. Many restaurants and shops in direct vicinity. Hotel was very clean and modern, with small but very nice sport and spa area with a sauna. Jacuzzi was closed in winter, but looks nice. And parking was an absolute plus in this area, enough space in the underground garage. Very kids friendly: baby cot already prepared when we arrived and 2 bags of kids snacks (dried strawberries and some pumpkin chips) in the bed, very positively surprised!

Excellent hotel, great rooms right next to a super market and lot of good options for food. The location is about 1.5 miles and an easy walk to city center and many easy public transportation options. Hotel staff very helpful. Great value for money.

Really liked our stay here. The Team Room was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids). Rooms and entire hotel were really clean.Room was really quiet and beds were comfy although we did find the pillows very soft. Bathrooms of the Team Room are tight so if you are a larger person, you could find these a squeeze. Really good breakfast of breads, cereal, meats, etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is great for exploring Munich with it being a 5min walk to the nearest U-bahn. Loads of restaurants a short walk away too. If we were in Munich again we would definitely stay here again

We had a really lovely stay. The rooms were comfy and clean and we can’t fault anything (apart from the pillows, they were so flat - I had to put a towel underneath!) Wouldn’t let it put me off staying again though.

Our overall experience at the hotel was excellent. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are excellent, the shower is great, the bed is comfortable. We loved the lighting control, the designer's ideas are great. The design of the hotel is special and congratulations to the designers!!! The breakfast is very good, varied. Thank you very much and we will be happy to return to the hotel again.

We stayed overnight at Schwabinger Wahrheit by Geisel in the "team room" and had a lovely experience. The location is walkable and convenient. Amenities were nice and everything was very clean. The wellness area was delightful; though small, the jacuzzi and sauna were enjoyed by our family. It was quiet and very accessible. I'd highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for 3 nights during Oktoberfest. Check in was pleasant. The room was large enough but had an odd configuration with the shower almost adjacent to the bed. That was a bit strange. Bed was large and comfortable.||We liked the location. Short walk to the English Garden. About 3 blocks to the subway, where it was a very short trip to the Oktoberfest grounds. There are several restaurants nearby. ||Did not try the breakfast but it seemed to be popular. Overall, this hotel was a good choice.

My husband and i are in our 50s and took a 20 day driving vacation which included 9 different hotels. this one was the best hotel we stayed at in its price range. Of the mid range priced hotels which i would categorize this as for our budge, It was by far the best of those. Boutique feel (details, artistic touch, etc.) but with a comfortable bed, great shower, and the location was great. Easy walks to restaurants, shopping.
