Schwerin Castle

Castle is really beautiful. You can go on a one-day trip with friends. I would recommend going inside the castle if you find it interesting. Rest the view and the atmosphere around the castle is very beautiful and admiring.

Schwerin Castle is a beautiful castle in Germany, built on an island in Lake Schwerin. Its stunning architecture and lovely gardens make it feel like a fairy tale. Visitors can explore its elegant rooms and learn about its history. It's a great place for a peaceful walk and amazing views.

A very picturesque location with historical significance. Great for photos. The castle is surrounded by a lake and the scenery was magnificent even in the winter. The staff was also very helpful.

So I only got to explore the castle area, because I either has to choose between spending the last one hour in the cafe inside the castle or to walk to the park where there is an observatory tower—but I choose to chill instead since it’s freeezing. But it actually doesn’t take a lot of time exploring the castle. You‘ve got to explore three floors in total. The first on the left side where there is the ticketing area where you also bought the ticket. The other part is on the right side (this is where you access the inner castle). The other one is an area of art exhibition? Paintings and lots lots lots of antiques. The cafe itself isn’t expensive guys!!! And it was very comfy and has this… good nuances where you can just chill and relax? The staffs are all friendly and very nice! We even got to throw jokes (obv in German). But the kitchen is closed around 3 o‘clock..? I forgot.. so the last hours you can only enjoy coffee and cakes time. The total exploration time takes up to 2 hours? And I think we‘ve basically explored everything. Maybe because we went on weekday and almost afternoon, so there’s not a lot of people around (which is soooo great HAHAHAHAH). Anyways, my other friends were the one to explore the park area and they said it was MASSIVE. I only got to look around the park nearby, and it’s sooo serene. I think I will be back during summer to have picnic!!!!!!🥺 it was a GREAT DAY WELL SPENT!!!

Even in winter is beautiful, it has such a majestic air around it. The museum inside haves audio guides in english and lockers, very nice and confortable to wander around.

I recently visited a stunning castle, and it was a fantastic experience! The castle itself is incredibly impressive, and when paired with the beautiful gardens, it’s truly something special. Inside, there are plenty of rooms to explore, giving you a real sense of how people lived back in the day. The gardens were a pleasant surprise—they're so colorful and full of interesting plants. If you're driving, there's a convenient parking lot right next to the gardens, with plenty of spaces. We paid €10 for the whole day, which was well worth it for such a great visit!

My partner and I were on a Disney Cruise and we had an interior and exterior tour. It was breathtaking, the architecture and the detail in both the building and the art were exquisite and our tour guide for the interior was extremely knowledgeable and more than welcoming to foreign visitors. Definitely a must see in person if you are a fan of architecture and beautiful art.
