I booked double room with shared bathroom for 3 nights, very good location, train station Thun 3 minutes by bus or 10 min walking, very friendly staff. Recommend this place :)

Stayed two nights in this hotel. Service and location are good, but we were given a horrible and very noisy room. Curtains are damaged so lack of privacy and every time a cat walked by, the lights went on in the patio. Price versus quality is not worthwhile. Better to spend a bit more for accomodation whilst staying in this pretty town.

This charming small hotel is located right by the townhall square which is about 7-10 min walk from the train station. The room we had for 3 of us was very spacious with unique collection of furniture. We really enjoyed the wonderful breakfast of porridge, cold cuts, cheese, egg and assortment of bread. Communication prior to arrival with the owner was friendly and prompt. We arrived late in the afternoon but check-in was breeze with a passcode. I would stay here again if I ever revisit Thun. Recommend.

Communication prior to travel was friendly and professional. I arrived out of hours, so was given the door code and found the key to my room along with the Wi-Fi password as arranged. The room was perfectly clean and very welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. Normally I prefer to have a private bathroom, but the shared facilities were spotlessly clean and always free, so it was anyway like having a private bathroom. Breakfast was prepared, presented, and served with a lot of care and attention. Absolutely first class. I'm not really a breakfast person, but I enjoyed it tremendously. The location is brilliant.

We had a lovely stay, staff were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived early for check in but they sorted our room out and were very helpful. The breakfast is included with the room and is delicious, especially the homemade museli! I asked for Ingrediants in English and she came back with a list for us - very sweet! ||Great location and would recommend to others. It can be noisy with others arriving but this wasn't for long and didn't bother us.

Went here for the second time in a week. The food is so good! Small, cosy, Swiss restaurant (and hotel) with lots of wood panelling and nice lighting with art on the walls. The onion soup was great as was the strips of beef in a cognac sauce snd the moules frites. Delicious. And the rösti is also good. The menu selection is small but I prefer this ‘cause you can be sure the food served is fresh. Best book a table if you can.

What a quirky wonderful hotel. Great room that includes the best breakfast of my trip. Within walking distance of the train & boat station, just under the Thun castle with plenty of restaurants and shops around.

We had a great stay at the Schwert in Thun. It's very centrally located and extremely clean. We had a room with a shared bathroom, and it was totally clean and 100% fine. The room was nice and big, and the bed comfortable. |The breakfast was great! Croissants, bread, cheese, jam, a good cappuccino...! Perfect! ||Thank you for this stay and your hospitality.
