"Dancing All Night at Berlin's Indie Gay Club Berlin's nightclub for gay hipsters, SchwuZ is best known for its themed Fridays. Each Friday of the month has a different party theme, from BritPop to "Madonna Mania" and of course Eurovision and pop music nights. The party doesn't get started until late (after midnight), but in its current location, the club is in the back of a popular bar & cafe which often has drink specials. On summer evenings, the patio is a great place for people-watching. The space is also used for concerts, guest DJs and special parties almost every night of the week!"

Great gay club with a very mixed crowd. Door staff not intimidating. Drinks reasonably priced. 3 rooms with the largest playing pop music. I had a great time.

A MUST! Went twice and had a lot of fun. Watched a drag show and an episode of Drag Race hosted by queens. Everyone is very nice.

The club is nice and has a good atmosphere but sometimes the songs don’t really fit the vibe and seem a little random. However, I still recommend going here. But pregaming is very important since the prices inside are high. One shot would cost you 3,5€. There were some weird people there but overall it was nice. It does get very warm so I recommend not wearing a lot of thick clothing.

Amazon Place! Nice bartenders and polite securities. Card pay on the bar and merch, love it. Clean, neon and techno club vibes.😍 P.S. Amazing idea - drink holder in wc🥰

Different parties have very different vibes. Make sure to check which one you’re attending. I hated Buzzcocks (lots of attitude) but I adore the Schlagernackt: super relaxed, friendly and inclusive. One of my favourite parties whether you’re into a sex positive atmosphere or nudist partying. Will come again

It’s a pop club… not wild or crazy/ kinky but very fun if you want a pop night. Probably Berlins best pop club

Fun night out in a very safe environment. Females on the door reassured us of their reputation of it being a safe space and to report if you ever feel unsafe or someone is acting inappropriate. Would highly recommend!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have been here a few times as it’s the only proper ‘queer’ club in the city. However, if you’re not a cis white man, there aren’t many parties for you. Also although some of the staff are nice..the garderobe, the door..myself and multiple friends have had really negative experiences with one of the people working the bar. So much so that it ruined the experience. Expensive entry, okay music with a lot of repeats, and really rude service from one person that has really negative energy..I won’t be back. Maybe when their bar staff has some more diversity and they get rid of this one miserable employee, but probably that won’t happen because they’re more of a gay white man club than a queer club.

Yelp
I never made it to the old SchwuZ in Kreuzberg so I am not qualified to compare it to the new location, but I can say that I think the new spot is tops! Above all else, SchwuZ is a dance club and gay bar, but occasionally the space hosts shows, which is why I found myself there on a recent Friday night. I was impressed by the size of the place, though I am told the old location was also huge. It's definitely industrial both inside and out, but it has been remodeled so that there are new touches, such as a clean bar area and a nice stage. The sound is good and what might be the largest disco ball in any Berlin club hangs over the dance floor. There is an open feel to the floor-plan and layout, and what SchwuZ lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in space. What I also liked about this place was how friendly everyone working was--well, most everyone. Our bartender seemed a little grumpy, but the people working security and at the wardrobe were genuine and smiling. It definitely made the place feel more welcoming. Also, I really like that there is a separate room for smoking, and a sign near the bar reminding people not to smoke. No one actually enforced this when a few people did smoke, but I still appreciate the gesture toward keeping smoke from taking over the whole club.

Yelp
Had such a blast here while visiting Berlin. Fun atmosphere with different rooms of various DJ sets. There wasnt a line at entry and I just showed my idea and payed cover to be let in. Nothing too pretentious or difficult about the process unless like other clubs. I blinked and it was suddenly 5 am and the party was still going strong.

Yelp
It gets way too crowded, and I do mean, way too crowded. You gotta wait in line 5-10 minutes to use the toilets, and more than once I had to wait in line 20 minutes just to grab my coat and leave.

Yelp
Good place as a concert venue. Most recently saw Sylvan Esso here and had a great time (but mainly because I love the band). If you're not a Berliner like myself and just passing through, this place is great for a fun night out and to get the "Berlin" experience. It's a large factory where the inside is made up of a large space for dancing and concerts. A big bar with decently priced drinks (cocktails 8€). It has the grungy vibe with cement walls and graffiti/street art everywhere. Not very central though.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday around midnight... "Electronic Donnerstag" Maybe since we look rather younger than typisch Berlin clubbers, the friendly bouncer mentioned that "if you feel there is trouble come and talk to us anytime" Wow, certainly the first time I've ever head that going into a club. Really impressed by that. The club itself was only half open, but the music on the only real dance floor was very solid. Electronic, funky, weird, groovy... everything you need for a good night. A good mix of genders, and outfits and dancing styles. I knew from the bouncer's disclaimer going into the club that it would be a comfortable place focused on fun and respect. In practice this was true indeed.

Yelp
Amazing place, the prices are really cheap for this kind of a club and you have like so many different options of rooms offered in the club according to your music taste. You don't have to just stuck in one place. I love it here. A must-see.

Yelp
Really liked it in here! Great for dancing. The place is huge and had something for everyone in terms of music. The bar staff were fast, attentive, and there was lots on offer.
