Science Centre Singapore

Came for the Dinosaur Exhibit but were slightly underwhelmed by the number of fossil exhibits. We expected a somewhat more memorable experience for the ticket price but the number of displays were limited. We went on a weekend afternoon and the exhibit was quiet, allowing you to take your own time to enjoy yourself.

Surprisingly thoughtful dinosaur exhibition. Visited the dinosaur fossil exhibition at the Singapore Science Centre and was genuinely impressed. The line-up of fossils is more extensive than I expected, with a few towering specimens that really give you a sense of how massive these creatures once were. The exhibition isn’t overly large or flashy, but it’s put together with care. You’re able to walk through at your own pace without feeling rushed, and there’s space to pause and really take it in. Some interactive sections kept the kids engaged, but what stood out most was how it sparked their curiosity—they asked questions all the way home. It’s an experience that feels more reflective than sensational. Worth the visit if you’re interested in natural history, enjoy quieter learning spaces, or want something meaningful to do with the family. Would definitely recommend making the trip. 😄🦖

The Science Centre Singapore is truly a great-value, clean, spacious place that’s perfect for families with young children. Instead of taking your kids to crowded indoor playgrounds in shopping malls, this is where they can touch, play, explore, and learn in the most fun and natural way. The space is airy and well-organised, with plenty of interactive zones like light, water, robotics, nature and more. Children can freely run around while parents feel completely at ease because everything is designed to be educational and safe. This is definitely a spot I will keep coming back to whenever I visit Singapore, because every visit feels like a new experience for both kids and adults. Highly recommended for families travelling with little ones!

Very interactive exhibits, really cool fossil and because I got the early bird tickets I had my plushie as well. I signed up fof the digging activity as well for the funzies and got a gachapon. 10/10 experience even if you have no kids along (I am the kid xD)!

5 stars! Visited this month on a Sunday morning and was so worth it, especially for the months-long special exhibition- Dinosaurs | Extinctions | US. So surreal to walk beside real fossils! Staff were all quite helpful too. Explored the rest of the Science Centre which brought out the inner kid in us parents while our 3-year-old enjoyed his first experience here too. Catch the once daily fire show if your timing works out!

Well organized and coordinated. Fossil exhibits for the different dinosaur eras. There are some interactive stations for kids throughout the exhibit. Recommend for families with young and primary kids.

This place, so loved by children as young as kindergarten ages, curious exploring teens to silver hair seniors, never cease their thrill in discovery this Science and Technology fun learning place, the Science Center. Climate change that leads to the increasing need for renewable energy demands; sensory senses of sight, fun activities from toilets to children's playground including the diversity of ageing, all so fun, so interesting to discover. Indeed a great learning place to come.

Brilliant day out for the whole family. Really affordable price for the size and amount of attractions on offer. We paid 40 dollars for our family of 4. There are many different areas within the museum from optical illusions to electricity to poo to fear...it is both informative and entertaining. Sometimes the explanations on the placards are a little bit too advanced for kids to read and understand but they will enjoy exploring and learning through play. I would say the restaurant good do with an upgrade as the quality was not great for the price and options are limited. The splash zone outside is included in the price and was deserted when we arrived on a weekend. There is far more interactive things for kids to do here than any other splash zone we have visited in Singapore. A great day out, we were here for about 4 hours and feel like we only saw half of the place. The family year passes are affordable as well so we will purchase one of those!

This is a fine science center to while away a few hours. I have a membership to my local science museum, so my kids and I are well-versed in the science museum world. We were in Singapore, and I needed to fill up a few hours. So we took a Grab over to the Science Centre, and my kids spent about 3 hours wandering about and playing with the various exhibits. The cost was very reasonable, and the place was comfortable. There are a few places to eat at the museum. While none are especially great, they are convenient and reasonably priced. That being said, I wouldn't say that there's anything especially remarkable about this place compared to MOSI in Tampa, and it's not as good as the Exploratorium in San Francisco. It is on the older side, and it does not feel very new. I also don't love that you have to pay extra to experience multiple areas. If you're a tourist, like we were, I probably wouldn't take the long ride out here unless you really are at a loss of things to do. The place was nice enough, but it was hardly unique and it's out of the way of other tourist area. Better to go to the ArtScience Museum which as kid-friendly exhibits in a very unique location.

Science center accommodates different age groups. Before coming here, make sure to do some research on the exhibits (whether they are open or closed for renovation). Brought my 2 little cousins here as their mom was interested in the KidsStop area. While buying the tickets, we enquired on whether there are combo discounts on both Science center and KidsStop. This lady told us that it will be more worth it to buy the membership pass but since my cousins are residing mostly in Indonesia, we decided that one-time passes might work better for us - hence we purchased it. Combo tickets can save you quite a bit of $$. Residents is a plus too - more discounts. For KidsStop, they have two different timings - 12 to 3pm and 3-6pm. We got into the first slot as my preschool aged cousins might be bored for the Science Center exhibit. Science center has variety of exhibits and it changed once in a blue moon but most of the exhibits were still the same as the last time I went - 10+ years ago. For younger aged group kids, they might like the nature exhibition as there were small little creatures such as hamsters, mice and some chicks inside the displays. They can literally stay there for 1/2 hours to observe the movements. For the KidsStop, what I really like about this area is the different areas where children can learn about occupation, how food comes from, the different parts of the body, etc. Unfortunately there are some restricted area - either according to age or a requirement to wear socks before entering that area. Overall, it was a neat place to play at with your little young ones unless you have a phobia for staying in a messy environment (OCD). There is also a cafe in Science center, a chinese dine-in restaurant as well as a Kids' cafe serving 8 simple meals at Kids Stop and MacDonalds near to the entrance. Besides that, there are water play spots for the kids to run about on a hot weather. Will be there again in the near future.

Incredible! This just might be our favorite science center in the world. Plan to spend the whole day. There are lunch options and an outdoor play area. Convenient to public transportation. ASTC members get in free.

This is an underrated place of interest in Singapore. It's actually a really fun place to spend a day at, if you're looking to be stirred with science and discovery. The main exhibits are permanent so you'd come more than once mainly if there were special temporary exhibitions like Da Vinci, Dinosaurs, Sultans of Science and many more. One of the best exhibitions I've been to here was the CSI exhibit, where you get to be CSI investigators going through pseudo crime scenes and solving your own cases. And then getting a certificate printed after that. That was really fun! Always looking forward to what the Science Centre brings in future.

My memories of Science Centre involves the old man - Einstein if I'm not wrong, appearing in many of the displays, and this strange figurine that climbs up and down the rope in the middle which spooked me plenty as a kid, and also the TESLA display. I think the appropriate name for it is Tesla Coil Demonstration. The audience stand around in a circle, and in the centre there'll be this Tesla Coil that comes to life with dramatic high voltage electricity and it will PSSSZZZZ - sizzle and ignite your mind. I remember being scared that the crazy volts will fry my hair. One of my favourite exhibitions is the one called The Mind's Eye. It involves a lot of illusions and mirrors - they are not what they seem to beeeeee, and photo taking (by visitors). It was amusing and fun; I feel Science Centre deserves more attention from the media and public.

Science Centre Singapore is a place more than just an area about science experiments. It's the discovery and a fun learning place about science! I'm not a science geek nor do I love science, but I know that the stuffs at Science Centre are somewhat related to 'magic'. To the commoner, it's magic while to a scientist, it's the evolution and wonders of science! Enough of the failed Big Bang Theory script attempt, I actually do like going to the Science Centre and still have fond memories of the place there. My last trip was a few years back when I went there for a Toy Story exhibition. It was amazing and interesting. At the main exhibition itself, there are lots to discover and find the joy and fun in Science! Out of your Science textbooks and head over to find out about Real Science.
