Probably the best experience we had in all Italy. Service was impecable, food was AMAZING, scenery of Porte Ercole was stunning.
We stayed two nights in Monte Argentario because wanted to explore the coast of Tuscany since we had seen lots of positive reviews. And we are SO glad we chose La Roqqa as our hotel. Is a brand new hotel so there are not as many reviews but I wouldn’t choose any other hotel in this area. Service is worthy of their 5 star rating, their beach club is beautiful and sandy (unlike most beaches in the area) and their restaurant/rooftop is the best food you’ll eat. We ended up doing breakfast and dinner both days in the hotel because we loved it so much. Trust me ! You wont regret it their breakfast is as amazing. Rooms are impecable clean and refreshed each morning. The only reason we would go back to Monte Argentario is for this hotel.
*local people weren’t the friendliest* I think they are not super exited about the increasing tourism to this quite port area.
But the staff at La Roqqa really made us feel welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this hotel over any other one is the area. (I did a lot of research for this trip and I’m happy I choose well)
Only recommendation: improve the beach club food options & build a really nice spa so your guest don’t ever want to leave.
