During our day trip to Martha’s Vineyard, we looked for an ice cream shop in Edgartown. They had a few to choose from, and we tried Scoop Shack.
They had more than just ice creams, but candies, toys, and other souvenirs. It was a nice size shop, but didn’t offer any table or chair, which was a bummer.
They had a cute posters on the wall that said “Frozen Green Tea with mint and Honey” and “Frozen Root Beer.” But when I asked about those flavors, the staff told us they don’t make them any more… So, don’t trust the flavors on the side wall… The very colorful menu on the center wall is current, and unless they sold out of some flavors, they are the ones that they actually offer.
We got Brown Sugar Banana flavor and Butterbeer flavor ice creams. Banana one was so creamy, almost mushy than creamy, like mashed banana. I really liked it! Butterbeer one was not quite like the ones from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios. This one here had similar flavor to Root Beer, but much more tasty.
The staffs were not overly friendly but nice enough. We enjoyed their ice cream, and we were lucky enough to find a bench nearby. Great spot for a very flavorful ice cream!
