Best place to get filipino desserts! so good all the time! owners so nice and welcoming too. We drive all the way from Mesa just to grab a snack here! We love the taho and calamansi drink!

100% Don't sleep on this place, you won't be disappointed. 💜💙🩵 Halo Halo and Saging con yelo , two BANGER desserts we had coming here for the first time. my little brorher and I were out looking for a sweet treat after ramen, and this beautiful lil shop DID NOT disappoint!!!! came in a lil overwhelmed cause it's alot of choices, the wonderful lady behind the counter is the wizard of this establishment cause she recommended and whipped up these awesome desserts. they were refreshing, delicious, and new flavors we'd never had before! boba in a shaved ice treat? with rice crispies that stay crunchy???? STRAIGHT BANGERS!!!!!!!!! Especially in this Arizona summer sun. will be back!!!!!!

SO GOOOD. So unique. So many options. Flavors all outstanding. The best Taro ice cream I’ve had! We also got caramel crunch, so creamy and good. Lastly got the Calamansi sorbet con chamoy and it was like citrus from a tree in my backyard, so fresh. 5 stars! Owner/workers were so nice and obviously loved what they do.

The ice cream, halo halo, boba juice and food were all just incredible!! Everything completely authentic and absolutely delicious. Stopping there was the perfect start to our trip!

What an amazing find! Super creamy and unique flavors of ice cream and other amazing desserts! My wife and I tried the calamansi sherbet, kulfi and tumeric / honey. Yes, very strange sounding flavors, but absolutely delicious. Smooth and creamy. We also got the Taho (Filipino silken tofu dessert) and also wonderful. The owner was a super sweet lady and extremely kind and welcoming. This is the way shops need to be run. Support small businesses and give them a try. You won’t regret it!

First Time Visit First Impressions Last week we visited JL Patisserie and saw this ice cream place in the back next to a florist shop. We had to try their Taho dessert which is a soft silken tofu dessert with sago pearls (Palm Tree) with heavy syrup. This place is great. R&B music playing. Restroom available. They have some food available. This is a very special dessert because it's so good and simple. People who know about this stuff will love coming here just to have this dessert.

I love coming here to get my Halo Halo fix, but really what keeps me coming back is the service. Everyone is always super nice and very helpful with picking options for food items. My kids like trying the different ice cream flavors. This is a very family friendly place. Bring the whole family when in Central Phoenix.

Came by on a Thursday evening and tried their taho (tofu pudding). Not too sweet and silky. It's served warm FYI! I've had warm and cold versions but in Vietnamese or Taiwanese styles. Nice that this one came with boba for some added texture. Great healthier version of dessert with some protein too! Service was quick and kind - no complaints! Small shop with a few tables. Same plaza as JL Patisserie.

Taro milkshake is absolutely amazing. Staff is great, they stayed open late for us. Music playing and colored lights. Could stay in here for so long.

The employees their were super sweet their was a little bit of a language barrier but overall not to crazy. We got two drink and waited a little over 20min which is crazy long. The place also smelled really bad. The signature brown sugar boba drink was very good but the mango blended boba was more milkier tasting then mango and the mango flavor was very artficial. Their prices aren't bad i'd say go at a time their not to busy because they don't know how to properly deal with a high influx of customers at one time.

Delicious ice creams and a variety of flavors. I got a Thai Iced Tea float and it was amazing. The whole family loved their flavor choices. And service was above and beyond. Very friendly staff and super efficient. There was plenty of seating and clean tables. Will definitely come back here soon!

Had the best customer service experience!!! Was greeted right away! Super friendly. They offered samples of all the ice cream. We got a taro ice cream and a honey dew milk tea! Forgot to take pics before we devoured it! I am excited to come back and try more flavors and the filipino food they sometimes have! For sure worth a try!

I've been to Scooptopia a handful of times, but the one dessert I just can't get enough of is the halo halo! They make it so well that I often end up craving it when I'm in the area. The halo halo here is made with shaved ice, evaporated milk, jackfruit, jelly, sweetened beans, and more delicious ingredients. They top it with the taro ice cream that they sell in-store, along with a wafer roll and toasted rice (which I believe is pinipig). I think there was even a small piece of flan under the ice cream, which was SO creamy -- wish there was more!! Everything in the halo halo blends together so nicely, with nothing being overwhelmingly sweet. I could probably finish the large size. If you don't come for the halo halo, definitely come for the service -- everyone is so kind -- and the wide selection of desserts like taho, ice cream, shaved ice, smoothies, and more.

Scooptopia is a cute little family run ice cream/boba/Philipino food shop across from St Francis church off Highland & Central. Pricing is low and quality appears to be high, but don't expect frills. The ice cream selection is markedly different... their Taro root ice cream apparently is their number 2 seller!

I had the best experience at Scooptopia, they have your classic ice cream flavors on top of some really cool unique ones!! However, this isn't your ordinary ice cream shop not only do they offer ice cream but they also have shaved ice, shakes, and an assortment of foods! The service was very fast. We were helped by a lovely woman named Ruby, who was very kind and helpful. The environment is very welcoming and colorful! The seats were incredibly comfortable and cute. You can sit back and enjoy your ice cream while you watch the movies on their tv. I highly recommend checking this place out!

This place is is small but mighty and has the biggest variety of icy treats and the best flavor of ice cream is play dough the people there are very friendly and kind. I rate this place the best ice cream ever.

Came by here on a hot Monday afternoon. The boys wanted some ice cream before heading home and we found this gem on yelp. Came by here and we were the only ones here. The kids order two tea ice creams. Scoops here are huge and it was worth every penny. the lady behind the counter was so nice and courteous and let the boys take their times to choose and sample what they wanted. We tried the halo halo and it was great. Whenever we are back in town we will stop by here again.

Saw their soy bean curd - got SO EXCITED! I asked the owner if they could do the traditional "Taho" (in phillipino) without boba and he was able to do it for me. Was charged $3.81 post tax. It is SO SMOOTH!! That's what Chinese people emphasize on when eating taufu fa (cantonese) since it's a technique requiring experience and skills to achieve. We will definitely return.

Kiddie scoop of pomegranate raspberry sorbet + taro + tasty taro flavor - too creamy/sweet taro flavor - the pomegranate also had the sweetener syrup flavor so it tasted like sour belts TaHO (emphasis on the last syllable) + super soft bean curd with noticeable bean curd flavors made in house

Stopped by this dessert place this past weekend and surprised that they have more than just desserts. Check out their website for the awesome list of desserts such as Halo-Halo, shaved ice, ice cream, and more. Filipino-owned and they are about to step it up. Famous Bulalo, Tagaytay-style, is coming as the owner/current management was reared from there. Service was great, price is fair, and the place is clean. They also serve baked goods well-known to Pinoys such as Pan de Sal, Pan de Coco, Spanish Bread, Siopao, at iba pa.

The atmosphere is great. The variety is impressive. The service was outstanding! The owner encouraged many samples, and was so kind and inviting.

There are some very interesting flavors here. I had black sesame - excellent, and taro also good and a bit sweeter. Both were very rich, thick and creamy. This ice cream is not for those on low fat diets! The server was very pleasant, though the shop itself doesn't have much atmosphere. I took my ice cream outside and enjoyed it while wandering around the small shopping area.

A cute little spot for when you have a craving for something sweet. We went to this place after our escape room across the way and was excited to find out they serve the ice cream from Scooptacular. I went with a scoop of Rocky Road and it was delicious! I wish I would've ordered another scoop. Our attendant was super patient with us as we were a bigger group ordering different menu items. With it being a smaller space, I think the seating area was a little clumped together. There was another big group when we were there and I felt like I didn't know where to stand in order to not be in their space as well.

So good! Tried the halo halo and taho and amazingly delicious. I usually do not finish halo halo at other places because it is too sweet for me, but not Scooptopia- just right and soooooooo good! Taho was delicious too but smaller cup than I expected. Husband and wife team are super nice. Will be coming back again.

I'm always on the hunt for ways I can meet the tooth fairy sooner than later. This little hidden gem is perfect for sweets and desserts for my cravings. I can see why the Halo Halo is a hit and their best seller. The right combination of sweet and goodness. I had the large and overstuffed myself off the grass jelly and taro topping. That pirouline straw is bomb. Not to mention, it's pretty to look at as you stuff your face with it. My nieces got the taro and peach and lychee boba. They thought it was a bit sweet but good flavor. The owners are so sweet and they have regulars that bring in more guests. Aside from the sweets, they serve food too. The day we were in their daily special was noodles but I came for just dessert. I definitely will be back to try the other items if I can be persuaded to give up the Halo Halo. Life is short, make it sweet. Besides, who counts the calories when you got memories of goodness to bank on?!

I'm bummed to say that the boba here just didn't do it for me! I got a coconut taro and though the flavor was good, the boba was mushy and did not taste good.

An all around good place for ice cream that has a unique menu with lots of other treats. I was a little nervous when I walked into the store because of a group of maskless teenage girls walking around the store and talking very loudly (it was hard to hear the server!). We ordered small ice creams with two scoops each. I got kulfi and horchata and my husband got kulfi and german chocolate. I was impressed by the unique flavor selection (they have flavors like play doh and unicorn poop). The ice cream itself was just ok though.

Not a bad spot if you're craving ice cream! As a disclaimer, I did not visit the store in person, nor have I tried the halo-halo, so I'm unable to comment on those. I ordered some ice cream from here through Grubhub and it came cold, creamy, and tasty. I liked the cookies and cream flavor, which was fresh! Unfortunately they ran out of the strawberry flavor, and they ended up substituting it with strawberry + cheesecake (it was roughly the same, it just had cheesecake chunks in it). I appreciated them calling me first to confirm that I was ok with the change, and they wrote an apology on the delivery bag containing my food, which was quite sweet. Overall, I would come back to have more of the ice cream, as the service and food were both great!

Iscalet was the most fabulous associate. She was friendly she was competent and she deserves a raise! The ice cream was insanely good, I sampled a few and decided on peanut butter and Rockyroad in a waffle cone, which was crisp and delicious. This was the perfect dessert after a wonderful Chinese dinner

My brother and I were craving some Ice Cream tonight and instead of going to our usual placce (Churn), we decided to Yelp another ice cream shop - and I am so glad we did!!! We now have our new go-to spot. The owners, Paul and Gina, were super duper friendly! We ordered Halo Halo (Filipino Dessert with crushed ice, evaporated milk, ice cream, flan, and all other good stuff) and a bunch of Taho (Filipino Sweet Tofu Dessert). Both were amazing, and made me reminisce so much of my childhood in the Philippines. They also have a huge selection of ice cream, as well as shaved ice and boba. We only live three minutes away (which is super dangerous for us) because we would want to be back every. single. day.

I found this hidden gem on yelp and decided to try something different. We did visit the location, during the takeout only services and the owner greeted us with such enthusiasm and was so nice. She explained all the items on the menu, told us a little about their specialities and ultimately we ended up with the Thai tea and Halo Halo! We have since been back and brought our family to enjoy! They loved it and this is by far one of my favorite dessert places. We can't wait to go back and I would highly recommend Scooptopia if you are looking for great service, delicious desserts and friendly conversation!

They have a selection of different ice creams, my faves were the pistachio, the taro, and believe it or not, the unicorn poop, lol. The unicorn poop is purple vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. The Cookie Monster was good too, but it's very sweet. They also have boba, shaved ice drinks, floats and sobets. They have three non dairy ice cream flavors as well. What I got was the halo halo, a Filipino traditional dessert. They have a super special option that includes buko pandan. They top it with something crunchy which adds more texture to the halo halo. I enjoyed it! The way to eat a halo halo is to just go ahead and mix it all up. In Tagalog, halo halo, means mix mix, which is exactly the way to eat it. All the flavors become mixed together and it makes for a nice cold tasty treat!

I love this place so much! the food, service, and the whole place is so adorable! i really like how they sell snacks there aswell. I usually buy the guava shaved ice with the play dough ice cream and it is so delicious! the shaved ice is perfectly made, and the ice cream id so yummy! the ice cream is so good, Cookie Monster is a really good flavor aswell! the drinks arrive super fast, and employees are so kind! I love this place and strongly recommend visiting.
