A one of a kind stay, with a one of a kind host. Tayyeb was a true gentleman and made us feel at home the moment we arrived. The house and room were just spectacular. Don’t think twice, book and enjoy.

Tayeb as we say in arabic is a name truly given to the owner of this house, meaning he is genuinely the nicest host we have met. The service and accommodation was beyond what we expected from the cleanliness, hospitality and overall needs. ||Tayeb and his wife were very helpful when needed and breakfast time felt like we were sitting in our family home. The decor and overall atmosphere made us want to cancel the rest of our activities just so we can spend more time in the guest house. The room as good running cold & hot water, very good AC and very clean. |I would recommend to bring your own towel just for personal hygiene but it is still veryyyy clean. ||We traveled as 2 females friends and we felt extremely safe in a new and remote place which is rare in this day an age. If you are ever visiting Luxor make The Scorpion House your home. ||It is super close to all the activities in the West Bank (by car) : Valley of the kings (5min), Valley of the queens (8min), Hot Air Ballon (10min), Quad Bike Safari (10min). So you definitely get that extra rest and is the last too get pick up and first to get dropped off from your activity. |It is also only a 15min drive to the Nile where you can enjoy dinner by the Nile so definitely not that far and highly recommend. ||Thank you again Tayeb and hope to visit you soon. |

Most incredible place I have ever stayed in Egypt. You feel like royalty there it’s just crazy! The architecture and decorations makes you feel like you’re experiencing something unique in Egypt. Rooms are clean and stunning. Taïb is an amazing host who makes you feel comfortable and is always here to help you. The meals prepared by Doha are exquisite and they are totally suitable for vegetarians! I will definitely come back next time I go to Luxor.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend this to everyone. The host Mr. Tayeb took such great care of us as if we were family members. Luxor was our final destination in Egypt and we honestly felt so warm and well taken care of there. The whole place is his his house and seems like a castle on the inside and has a cozy Egyptian atmosphere. He has some animals and a big garden with pool as well. We had breakfast and dinner both days we stayed and it was honestly the only REAL homemade food we had all week. So tasty and clean and authentic. On our first day, he showed us two different rooms and let us pick our favorite and then showed us around the premises, the garden and everything. On our last day he woke up at 06:30 in the morning to make us breakfast and escort us in the taxi. He even offered a small goodbye souvenir which we really appreciated. 10/10 Thank you! © There wasn't a door in the bathroom and it was a bit uncomfortable.

Away from the hectic east side this tranquil family owned hotel is a perfect place to relax after a day going to the temples. They serve the best food we had on this trip and the host very accommodating and genuinely friendly and will help to arrange whatever you want to do, if you ask. House have some small animals, cats, a dog and some pigeons. They also allow access to a neighboring pool. Getting to west side is easy and takes 5-7 min to the ferry crossing. 24/7 crossing. Strongly recommend this place

We stayed 3 days at this location. Tayeb is just amazing.. food was awesome and the care he devoted to our family was priceless. We even got a small token of appreciation at checkout!!. If you are planning to go to luxor and want to enjoy great food (authentic) and don't mind being a bit far from east side of luxor this is the right place for you. Btw Tayeb also arranged guided tour to west side and east side temples and it was amazing.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Scorpion House! Mr. Tayeb is an amazing host who made sure we had a memorable time in Luxor. The accomodation is unique, with an airy courtyard and a swimming pool. The room was large and spacious - absolutely value for money. They also offered home made lunch and dinner which was some of the best food we had in Egypt. We absolutely recommend staying here when in Luxor! Thank you Mr Tayeb for your heartwarming hospitality!

Stayed one night end of December. The rooms are nice and large. I arrived late in the evening. The guy who greeted me (can’t remember his name) was so friendly - he showed me around and made me a tea. The garden is beautiful and so peaceful. There is also a pool. The hotel can also arrange taxi from the airport. I had to leave at 6:30 am so had asked for a packed breakfast but when I was about to leave there was nobody and breakfast so had to leave. If it were not for that, definitely would have given it 5 stars.
