The view from Scorpion House is 5/5 no doubt. The food is high quality and they give you a ton of it. It is pricey make no mistake, but you are paying for the location and quality. The town itself is not really setup for tourists, so you should come with a guide or connect with the Scorpion House staff for them to meet you and take you up (it’s a lot of steps!). We were disappointed that there was another group playing music during our lunch, ruined the vibes - we didn’t say anything so won’t blame the staff for not shutting it off.

Scorpion House is a hidden gem perched above Moulay Idriss, serving food with a view that makes your jaw drop before the appetizer does. We were surrounded by stunning panoramas while being spoiled with a feast of couscous, fish, meats, and more vegetables than I knew existed (or could be this tasty). Each dish was beautifully prepared the salads alone deserved their own encore. It’s like someone took a Moroccan grandmother, a fine dining chef, and a poet, and told them to collaborate. The hospitality? Warm, welcoming, and somehow intuitive, they knew when we needed more bread and when we just needed to sit and say “wow” to the scenery. Come hungry, come curious, and maybe skip breakfast, this place feeds both your stomach and your soul. Just don’t ask why it’s called Scorpion House. (We didn’t. We’re not that brave.)

Scorpion House is simply wonderful. Located on the hill above the ancient town of Moulay Idriss, amazing views from every table, and a house so beautifully decorated. The house was open for those having lunch to visit and it had such style and classic and interesting artefacts. The food was tasty, full of flavour, great variety and plentiful. I totally recommend. It's a walk up from the main square but worth it.

Had a stop-over lunch at Scorpion House. The owner was such a friendly host. The food was the best meal I had in Morocco. The house was very clean and had excellent views. If you are in the area, go and visit this place.

This place is incredible. The owner has designed a beautiful, comfortable house and the views are incomparable. The lunch was delicious and we were free to explore the entire place. Beware the climb to the house if you have trouble walking up hill and doing stairs.

Incredible meal. The food, views, and ambiance were some of the best during our time in Morocco. A tremendous experience, I highly recommend adding Scorpion House to your agenda.

Very good food for lunch time travel stop over on the way too/from Volubilis - climb to the top of a small uphill and be created by very nice staff - beautiful house/lodge to see followed by remarkable views over the town and madras at Modular Iriss Zerhoun. A ridiculous amount of food - from fresh fruit smoothie to a large platter of everything from Moroccan salads to kebabs followed by a large number of delicious Moroccan desserts - fixed menu although they can accommodate various dietary restrictions. Personally I loved the Mixed Salad and the couscous - they were both really good. Not gourmet but really good in a great location with a great view - best lunch time meal we’ve had in Morocco.

Amazing food and awesome views of the town. Service here is great and they are attentive to your needs. We will be back as soon as we can! We scheduled this stop with our guide/tour company and we're pleasently surprised. The Moroccan salad was plentiful and different than others we have had in the trip
