"Scotchie's Cooked in an open pit over pimento wood, the jerk preparations here are all authentic and—according to most locals—the best on the island. Traditionally spiced chicken and pork, as well as a less fiery fish version, served in a tin container along with rice and peas and festival bread (akin to hush puppies). Getting your order to stay means eating while perched on wooden barrels, which certainly adds local flavor. While enjoying the delicious meal, you'll get to observe the seemingly endless line of customers, and perhaps get a ringside view of a lively and noisy game of dominoes."
Budget friendly prices for authentic jerk chicken or Jamaican cuisine in general.
Jerk chicken is a must try!!
Great for a pit stop when you are going to or coming from Ochi. Totally recommend it.

Went here for dinner 7 years ago and I still talk about it. Everything was amazing. Get the sampler and try it all, don't forget the sweet potatoes, chef's kiss.

If you want heavily salted roast chicken go for it here, this did NOT taste like Jerk Chicken. Did NOT have jerk seasoning if it did it was VERY mild. We ordered a whole chicken gave the bones to the dog there, even the scotch bonnet sauce they had was not spicy. We also ordered Jerk wings which had more flavour than the whole roast chicken we got. We paid a total of $33 cheaper than pork pit but the quality is way better at pork pit than here at Scotchies. SAVE YOUR MONEY we were also charged $8 extra on top of our order again we are tourists we did not want to cause a fuss follow my YouTube Channel for an in depth review @lovesusy Postcard from Paradise

The guy at the bar is RUDE! I ordered a 1/4 chicken-(dark), he decides to bring me white meat. I told him this is not what I asked for. He says…. “I want you to be healthy”. The chicken was DRY with no flavor. I asked for dark again and he started speaking in his local tongue.
I don’t have to ever return and I hope others are cautious when they go. 😡

We tried this place due to the name. The taste/flavor, amount, and presentation were severely lacking. I would not encourage anyone to eat at this place. It is definitely OVERPRICED! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

We came here for some jerk chicken. Day 1, we got jerk chicken, veggies and rice pease. Food was horrible. No season on the chicken, rice peas dried out. Day2, jerk chicken and wings which were small wings and steamed veggies. Again no flavor on the food. I will never know what the hype is about this place! The food was edible but if you know food, it should had some jerk seasoning/flavor. Don’t waste your money!

Clean and serene. Didn't let the name fool you, everything is mild until you make it spicy. So feel free to get your food here without the spice.
Local beggar was a turn off though, so might not be back because of it. But food was good.

The jerk was jerkimgggggg! This is place is a must. We ordered 1/4 jerk chicken with a side of sweet potato, Ting soda and Red Stripe beer. I added jerk spicy sauce to the chicken and omgggggg so good! The only thing they’re missing a smoked bbq sauce and the place would be🔥 . Everything cost us 2k Jamaican dollar. Worth every penny!
