Yangon is a charming city. Scott made my trip even better. Dorm room is comfortable with privacy. Each dock have its only locker. The whole building is very clean even if the shared toilet. Front desk is extremely helpful, they always tried their best to help you. I would definitely come back when I visit Yangon next time.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the common area is nice, everything looks good exept for the bathroom which is not bad at all! But i wish the showers were bigger. I had a great time here! Breakfast is kinda basic but that’s not really a problem. I loved that it’s located right by sule pagoda and you can find good restaurants everywhere! You also get a key card that you can lock in your stuff with, I haven’t seen that in a lot of hostels! Great place

My stay at the hostel was alrighty I really have to say the staff is friendly helpful and speaks English really well. The lobby area and the rooftop are also really good. I liked it. Breakfasts Includes toast with jam, cereals, milk, juice and coffee. Not too bad for a hostel in my opinion. The bad things were that the toilet constantly smelled like pee and my dorm room smelled mouldy and like pee. The bunk beds look quiet old and need some renovation. There are definitely some things to improve.

I love everything about this hostel! Clean, welcoming atmosphere, quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the cafe is huge, air-conditioned, and the perfect place to work with reliable fast Wi-Fi; the dorms are cozy with comfy beds and tons of storage space in the bed area and for your bags; and it's in a great neighborhood. I even messaged them to let me know when there's an opening during the Thingyan/new year water festival dates since they were fully booked online and they were so quick with their response to let me know that they had one! Unfortunately I couldn't make it anymore due to a personal reason but I really appreciated their customer service. My favorite hostel in Yangon :)

Highly recommended hostel. Just walking distance to all downtown attractions. I love their bed, hotel quality. They also will let u have an early check in if theres no other guest. Only negative side is i think the floors of their toilets, but everything else is perfect.

This is an excellent hostel, well located for Sule Pagoda, the railway station and within walking distance of chinatown (ten minutes). Many fine restaurants nearby. The street it is located on is interesting enough but beware of cars creeping up behind you as there is no pavement. The hostel itself has an amazing reception area/bar. There are steep stairs up to the top floor where the dorms are - not great if you have heavy bags. Aircon is fantastic, there is a privacy curtain on each of the beds and the wifi was great. there's a balcony for smoking and just hanging out. The bathrooms are OK but not as well presented as the reception downstairs for example - functional would describe them best. Breakfast was a joke though - just bread and jam as far as i could see. my first night breakfast was included, next day i booked using a different site - breakfast was not included it seems. i didn't notice and after i'd put some bread in the toaster a guy told me not to eat it! i felt like shaking his hand and thanking him! i trotted off to an indian place and had some samosas and rice. even so pretty dumb incident over two slices of toast.||||one other point - day one cost me USD$5.5 using hostelworld. i said to the chap at the desk i'd stay another night for the same price. he said no, not possible price is $7. so i booked again (agoda i think)- $5 this time (no breakfast i now know) - presumably they have to pay a dollar to agoda for commission. so how stupid is that? i offered to pay $5.5 - they end up with $4?? however it is annoying and fiddly so be aware, scott hostel, by taking this position you are causing mild perturbation for your guests. Finally - 5% on top for using credit card!?? c'mon - everywhere else is 3%. ||||however this is a review of the hostel and not their pricing scheme - i rate the hostel 10/10. all staff members were helpful and polite - a well run outfit.

I loved this hostel!! I stayed there twice while my travels in Myanmar. It's very very clean and the staff is super friendly. You can pay US Dollar and Kyat. The hostel is a bit hidden in one of the (dirty and smelly) streets and is a real oasis. It's furniture is really modern and chic - there is a balcony on top where you can relax and hang around. There also offering a laundry service, which was quite good! Definitely recommend this hostel and would come back anytime!
