"All of the recent restaurants that have popped up in Van over the past couple years, know Scott Landon intimately, not to mention the likes of American retailer JCrew. His passion for the hunt started over 25 years ago and is driven by the desire to find pieces with the most interesting back story – his keen eye has procured some of the most unique and personality laden pieces that adorn our city’s best eating spots. From perfect patina covered mercury pendant lamps to the most stunning and huge farmhouse dining table hand made during Canada’s early years - whether you are decorating your home or opening up a new retail shop, Scott Landon needs to be your first call. His collection of American and Canadian heirlooms are perfectly on trend and a must see when in Vancouver. Come for a peak and leave with an ear full of tales." - Arithmetic Creative

Scott is one of a kind! Not only have we found so many great pieces wandering his incredible space, he is our go-to guy when we are looking for something specific without knowing exactly what we actually want. Every time I call him and say "Hey Scott, any chance you have something like...", he has always delivered. And as others said, just a great human, entertaining stories and really fair. My only caveat is don't believe him when he shows you the perfect piece, then tells you he's not sure he wants to sell it! Am on to you Scott! HaHa!!

Scott is a superstar. We’ve bought two huge items from him. A 10’ general store counter and an 18 th century Coffer. Shipped both over 2000 miles to us in the U.S.. Both were perfectly packed and shipped with lightning speed. He or an employee are always available by phone. Couldn’t be more pleased.

So happy! I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Scott and Josh from Scott Landon Antiques. I had been looking for a very specific item that was not easy to find …When I came across Scott Landon Antiques on the internet, I emailed to see if they could help.. My experience from there was amazing! I had sent pics to show what I was looking for and Scott and Josh found the Pittsburg Mercury shade I had been searching out in perfect condition! They sent me pics and it was exactly what I had been looking for! Nothing like the chipped destructed ones I had seen elsewhere. Communication was easy as they always responded and kept me well informed every step of the way. Nice to know there are businesses that still try to make the customer happy! Scott Landon Antiques has accomplished just that! Glad I found them. Highly recommend!

Scott Landon Antiques is a lucky find for us. We have purchased several pieces for our brand new home to add warmth and character and I couldn’t be happier! Scott is a really cool guy with a great eye and much passion for his work! His shop is incredibly cool-fun just for a look, but GO-you might find a treasure to take home!

Could not have had a better experience! I bought an antique brass door from Scott. I am in Texas and he made the shipping experience so seamless. He was so easy to communicate with, really nice guy and clearly very knowledgeable about his pieces. The door came in perfect condition, and it’s even more gorgeous in person than the pictures Scott sent. Even though I’m so far away from where he’s located, I will definitely keep an eye on his shop because he made the experience so easy. Thank you, Scott!

My sister recommended Scott to me (yes, sometimes you should listen to your sister) and I am glad she did. Not only is his stuff cool, he's a pretty cool guy too! Makes cross-country shipping simple! Buy something from this guy and you will be impressed!

Yelp
Not Impressed. I bought some brackets to mount under my kitchen overhang, found out they wouldn't mount properly in the orientation that I wanted, and when I took them back had to pay a restocking fee! On antiques?!? Preposterous!!! What a bunch of rip off artists. Wouldn't set foot in that place again.

Yelp
Very cool, unique pieces. Not "high end" but interesting items that are beautifully finished by George. EXCELLENT staff! Very helpful, overall a great experience. We have bought a lot of stuff here over the years. No hesitation to recommend this business.

Yelp
Excellent shop for unique pieces from eras ranging from the 1800s to 30's and 40's. Constantly changing so check in often. Also, they are very much in comm if there is something you are looking for I.e. Great follow up...

Yelp
I love the concept of this store and their focus of making a certain style of items of what we would consider junk to be re-evaluated and presented as hipster class. The whole hipster class seems to be the trend in the city with other shops trying to do the same thing. Here is my problem, a lot of the stuff is way overpriced with no real history to show for in the pieces. I also find that a lot of stuff can be replaced or can be obtained elsewhere to be made to look old. If you're looking for a piece with a story, there are a few here. Is the story worth a set of 5 large glass mason jars for $500? I will give them props for trying to be more down to earth rather than snotty or upscale, however, the prices are a complete 180. The customer service is one of the best in the industry (I've done antique shopping for years).

Yelp
Scott Landon is the perfect partner in a creative project. He easily meets you on your creative vision and jumps on board to brainstorm ways to illustrate and implement your ideas. His breadth of knowledge in antiques and their unique histories is unparalleled. His gung-ho attitude towards hunting down, sourcing and securing the most rare and unique pieces is awe inspiring. Ask him about any piece he has and you will spiral down into the special history of each of the pieces he has collected, making that piece just that more special. The best part in working with him is his resourceful approach, if you need a light fixture modified he can fabricate the perfect gooseneck and meet all of the current codes. While hunting down vintage on my own is fun, working with the Landon team is on a level of it's own and one that will save your project copious amounts of time. Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
I love going into this store to browse the really handsome and beautifully restored antiques that are here. This store typically has some large pieces: tables, dressers, desks and often there are a few other quirky pieces in store as well. You can expect high quality, solid wood furniture that looks serious without being as formal or ornate as you might find in antique stores that specialize in older or more European pieces. There's an almost rustic feel to the pieces here, but in a really classy way. The prices here are serious, but I don't know enough about antiques to say if they're reasonable or not, though I suspect they're well within range of what you would expect to find in a store of this quality and selection. So, if you can afford it, visiting this store is an excellent way to avoid the mass produced feel of so many other nearby decor stores, and instead to find something truly beautiful and genuinely valuable.
