Brought a client here that had become suddenly homeless and the staff were brilliant. I didn't catch the lady or the mans names that were working reception but they are incredible and made the transition as easy as possible. These guys are doing a huge service to the community, now we need to show them the respect they deserve.

Rooms are quite small for a family. Pool was closed due to broken pump ?? Location is tricky to get into in peak traffic as driveway right after turning lights

All of the motel's main staff have been completely and utterly supportive, helpful and accommodating during the duration of mine and my families stay. I highly recommend staying at Scotty's motel due to the fact that it is located close to the city, hospitals, parks, shopping and recreational centers, not to mention that beaches are also quite close by. The area surrounding the motel isn't bad either, there are schools and plenty of fast foods chains and other business nearby. The rooms are quite clean and spacious yet cozy for the price. The cleaning staff are available 5 days a week, and offer a bedding, towels, bathroom mat change over. Not to mention they also provide a mopping and vacuuming service. The is also a small laundry mat open for guests from 8am to 10pm, plenty of car parks for the tenants and proper up to date security measures, easy access to a trash disposal. There is an open grass field right next to the motel as well! The staff has always been very polite to me and my family, and we all enjoyed our stay.

BEWARE BEFORE YOU BOOK A ROOM! There was a "lot lizard" in the parking lot, it was a skinny aboriginal wearing jorts and she kept going up to me and the other patrons asking for money for unholy activities. I would not recommend bringing your kids here as I had a 2 week stay and she was there 90% of the time.Overall it was an alright stay for what It was worth but cleanness is not a priority for them. I swear there must've been 10 dogs just running around my room before I got there because I haven't seen so much hair before. There was also a homeless man passed out a few metres from my door with his alcohol bottles organised in size like russian nesting dolls. Would not recommend if you have kids or are considering staying here for an extended perioid.

This is an amazing place to stay. I have never felt more at home. I have worked in the hotel/motel industry for a long time. Our stay here was more than I could ever ask for. We stayed here for 3 months and the management and house keeping have gone above and beyond to provide myself and my children with the up most care and comfort. This motel is a God send. I am sad to be leaving. Thanks for everything and I hope to stay here again. You guys are the best :)

I cannot say a bad thing here. There are such good people there. The Reception Staff are lovely and so very helpful. The Housekeeping is done each day and always leaves our room so clean. The people that are staying there are also so very friendly and will have a chat as they pass by. We cannot complain about our stay. 😁😁😁😁

Absolutely fantastic Motel, staff are incredibly helpful and understanding, stayed here for several weeks and don't have a bad thing to say about staff or the motel. Also conveniently located between bus stop 8 & 10 on Main North Road and within walking distance to Aldi. Highly recommend Scotty's

Yelp
I have never stayed at Scotty's Motel, although from the pictures I have seen it looks quite nice. However, this is not so much a review of Scotty's as a motel, but of Scotty's as a cultural landmark in Adelaide. When I was a child my father used to work at technology park, and on the occasions I would go out that way to visit him I was always fascinated by the giant Scotsman, looming from the corner of Nottage Terrace and Main North Road. My fascination has remained to this day and I continue to use the giant Scotsman as a beacon or landmark when navigating throughout that area. Scotty, as the Scotsman is known, is 5 meters high, dressed in traditional attire and playing the bagpipes. He is a well known icon throughout Adelaide.
