Google
Scotty's now only does brunch at the weekend, but it was fabulous! Great food, with interesting choices and flavors. Good prices, and good service. You might need a reservation here. We went back today and the food was really great again.

Google
Good wholesome fine dining in the heart of Missoula. The service was comically bad but I think she was new. I recommend going with the more exotic interesting dishes, the standard ones are very standard and probably not worth the price point.

Jared Benson

Google
I thought Scotty's was good, but for the price I wasn't super impressed. The 131 sandwich was decent, the Shakshuka was underwhelming. I still liked it. I'm just thinking I'll have to come back and try some different things on the menu. Perhaps I should've asked for what the server recommended! I'll be back, no worries.

Google
Delicious food! Very nice setting and service was so speedy but warm and friendly. Must order the fried Brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Chicken breast was nothing special but perfectly cooked.

Angie Thompson

Google
The brunch was amazing and these were the best eggs Benedict I've ever have. Also our server Kaelin was such a bright and cheery presence. Overall we had a great experience.

Google
What an awesome spot! My buddy and I happened upon it in a hungover haze and were so happy we did. Their coffee is fantastic and the 131 is amazing! The potatoes are also perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also enjoyed chatting with Reed and the rest of the team. Highly recommend this spot.

Google
Passing through town and felt like this might be decent spot to check out after looking at the reviews… as they say don’t believe everything you see on the internet. The food here is overpriced. Service is poor, and the restaurant was oddly quiet. One of those spots that kind of echos and you can tell those around you are most likely eavesdropping on your conversation. I found much better options in the area during my visit.

Google
Best Eggs Benedict in Missoula! This is the place. I have searched for really good eggs benedict everytime I come to Missoula. I finally found it. Scottys table locally sources their ingredients and meats. The atmosphere is upscale and feels grand from a bygone era. We made a reservation before coming and had no wait to be seated. The waitstaff was very friendly. The food was served more quickly than expected. The benedict is a rotating weekly special. This weeks was a smoked salmon with corn. I have a feeling every week will be a winner. Next time I come to see my son we will try Dinner here. This will be my go to place for breakfast from now on.

Yelp
it's a little hidden gem near the pavilion greet outside seating area very pleasant. I didn't eat inside, but I saw it and it looked really nice too. The food was great. We had eggs, Benedict and omelette. I would highly recommend. I would like to come back and try dinner here.

Dave S.

Yelp
I had the ciappino, pretty good, not the best I've had. It's probably better than I would expose seafood in Montana. The place is nice, very comfortable. Nice location along the river park. The service was great, engaging, and personal attention without interrupting or being annoying.

Jeanie G.

Yelp
OMG. I had no idea. Who knew that vegetables could taste this good?!? Seriously, my friend and I decided to try this place because of its proximity to The Wilma. It's right below the theater. But that's not why you should go there. It's got amazing food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. We ordered WAY too much food, thinking tapas and salads. No. Each appetizer could fill me up. We ended up with (ashamed voice) FOUR boxes of leftovers. Not one scallop though. I know my food hierarchy! Try it. You'll be inspired!!!

Steven G.

Yelp
The service was great. The ambience was there. I just can't get over $35 pork chop not quite sure why they charge so much for that. The $10 Pinot Noir glass of wine was decent. I definitely would rethink the menu as far as pricing goes, but it is a tourist town

Yelp
This restaurant is located on a busy street with some parking in front so it might take a minute to find a spot. We arrived as soon as it opened and was given the option of sitting inside or outside. We went on a Thursday so there was live music across the street. If you're ready to get your tribute band vibe on, outside will make you happy. We were immediately given water and our waiter arrived promptly. I ordered the noodle salad and the salmon special. The noodle salad had a nice, light dressing and the flavors went well together. The salmon dish had a nice cream sauce on top and was cooked perfectly. If you're looking to impress your first date or owe a friend a favor for looking after your unruly kids, this would be the spot for you.

Yelp
Ordered the $55 steak (and ordered it medium rare), which came to us gristly and well done. Two of my other friends ordered the same dish, also medium rare, which also came to us well done. When we pointed it out, the server was extremely accommodating and helpful, and got us all three new plates. My second take was fully a rare steak and an even worse cut of meat. My friends received the same on the second try. My other friend ordered pasta bolognese and it was great! The sever could not have been kinder or nicer during the whole experience, so really I would just steer away from their regional beef steak option. I could have done better at my own home.

Jan C.

Yelp
We went here for lunch although the Art Deco interior makes for a nice atmosphere for dinner. Our server, Jenna, was very pleasant and attentive. We had the warm lentil salad and the burger. Both had good flavors although the fries were a tad on the soggy side. The salad had a nice combination of flavors. We would go back

Carla C.

Yelp
Excellent atmosphere, food and service Lots of healthy options. Salads and fish is what I love. My husband had steak. Everything was great!

Yelp
Came in for brunch on a Sunday. Arrived around 9:30 AM and only four tables were seated. The service was exceptionally slow. It took longer to be seated that it should have. Hostess looked confused but finally seated us. Waitress walked back and forth in front of our table at least four times and didn't even greet us for over 10 minutes. Struggled to pay because our waitress never returned. Food was good (pancakes and omelette) but don't know if we'll return based on this experience. Prices are too high for mediocre service.

Dennis S.

Yelp
Nice ambiance. Interesting menu. The food that we had was really tasty! good service. Scotty visits every table, which is a nice touch.

Tony B.

Yelp
We travel all over the US (and the world) and believe us when we tell you, this brunch was amazing! The candied bacon, the eggs benedict and the granola bowl were so so so good. And our server Kaylin made our experience delightful. The atmosphere was quaint and friendly. Our server kept checking on us (even though it was quite busy!) and bringing us mimosas and delicious coffee. It was such a nice experience for such a pretty town. We loved it! We didn't take a photo but I sure wish we would have!

Mr. Jim B.

Yelp
The ambiance and decor (20's art deco) is perfect for date night or gathering of good friends. Wine list is good and reasonably priced. Wait staff did a good job attending to us. Cheese plate was very good, however the entree's were ok, not great. Had the Cioppino which was missing about half of the broth, tasted great but it was about half of the normal portion at $34 per. The Greek chicken dish lacked flavor. The deserts (berry crumb and chocolate tort) were very good. So in the end I would go back, probably order apps and wine but pass on dinner.

Brandon C.

Yelp
i love scottys tables... From aphrodites boobies on the wall.... to the eggs benedict, through the short at ribs at dinner. all if these things considered.... the truly best part if it all, My server Lane. I heart you Lane.

Kevin Y.

Yelp
The food was off the charts at breakfast! We could not believe how great everything was! I'll post pictures of our Benedict special, white chocolate & bacon pancake special and The 131 plate. Our server was so nice and attentive. I ordered hot tea that is made with tea leaves and a strainer that I easily got two cups out of it. We'll definitely be back someday!

Courtney K.

Yelp
Our bottomline sentiment for brunch: they seem to be trying too hard. My husband's chicken and waffle sandwich missed the mark on soulfulness needed in chicken and waffles. It was loaded with so much 'stuff' that it lost itself. My eggs Benedict special was also loaded with too many ingredients and yet didnt taste like anything. Our service was good and my daughter enjoyed her meal. We left satisfied but not wowed. We enjoyed but wouldn't order again.

Lynda W.

Yelp
I'm glad the restaurant is back serving wonderful food. Wanted to try the new menu but it hadn't changed when I went. It is now being offered. Great service and I love that they promote local food producers.

Bob C.

Yelp
Excellent food! We were driving past Missoula and looking for a place good for our group of four including two vegetarians, a gluten free person and a low carb eater. We were having trouble finding a menu that looked promising until we found Scotty's Table. We are so happy we did! We had two appetizers, two salads, and four entrees. Everything was excellent!!!

Ashley L.

Yelp
This place was excellent! It was so good we had to go for both lunch and dinner! We were looking for a place with some good vegan options and we found it! For lunch we sat on their beautiful patio and had the polenta made vegan and their vegan BLT. They also had a mexican soup that was amazing. For dinner we took some friends back and had the lentil salad with tempeh and risotto made vegan. Our friends ordered non-vegan items and they all thoroughly enjoyed their food. The service was great and our server was very knowledgeable. We will definitely return!

T F.

Yelp
Visited Scotty's for dinner. Be aware they do not have a full bar, only beer and wine. The scallop hors d'oeuvre was very nice, the two different seafood entrées were great and made up for an alcohol free anniversary date. For some reason they were very slow bringing out our meal for a Thursday evening with very few guest in the restaurant. We'll come back and sit outside next time.

Victoria H.

Yelp
Brunch was good but the service was horrible. We got seated and waited 15 minutes before anyone even came over. Then we waited forever for our food and watched two tables get their food who got seated after us. I had order a mimosa, my husband had water. She never asked if I wanted another mimosa, even though my empty glass sat on the table forever. We finally asked her to check on our food, and miraculously it came right out. She said "they must've got your order wrong". Check was brought out while we were still eating, and she said "no hurry, and I took your drinks off for the wait". So she comped us for the mimosa and the water.

Yelp
Visiting our family here in Missoula, we decided to have brunch at Scotty's Table. We arrived at 9:20am (10 mins before they opened) We didn't have a reservation, but the hostess said she would have something for our party of 6. My husband mentioned that the coffee smelled great, so we were seated and had coffee within minutes of getting there even though we were early. Our waitress, Mackenzie, was equally friendly and professional. The food was outstanding! We had omelets, pancakes, shakshuka and chicken fried steak. Everything tasted wonderful and was thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend Scotty's. We felt welcomed and so comfortable. I am sure we'll be back again and again!

Yelp
My wife and myself went to Scotty's for Easter brunch. Very disappointed overall. The breakfast potatoes came out warm at best, and also the toasted bread looked like it was pre-made and literally was cold. Asked for ketchup and their house salsa. and literally waited 10 minutes before it came out. Did not serve water even though we asked for it. Also my wife had to ask for utensils and a napkin when her meal came out. The final nail in the coffin was when we ordered crème brûlée. It tasted like it had soap or detergent in it. I pointed this out to our server, and she tasted it and agreed. Then she stated that the dish it came out in was probably not cleaned properly. Will not be returning!!!

Robin L.

Yelp
Lovely ambiance and attentive service but food was meh and overpriced. Shrimp was rubbery with lumpy grits. Pasta bolognese was just okay - pasta overcooked. Bread was delicious but not warm. Was looking for an exceptional meal based on reviews, disappointed.

Rick O.

Yelp
We were a party of four for dinner on May 31. The cioppino was oily and not good. The salmon was over cooked. The pork chop was dry even though I emphasized that I wanted it cooked on the rare side of medium. The presentation of the pork chop was terrible with lentils just heaped on the plate. The spinach salad was also not good.

Jimmy V.

Yelp
This is a great place to dine in downtown Missoula, as it is slightly off the beaten path of Higgins and Front Street. Seems like a table is always available with little or no wait. Menu features regional ingredients in nearly every item. It is big place with a nice decor, so typically not noisy. Easy place to have a good dinner conversation. After multiple visits in the past three months, I have to report that the only drawback is that nearly every dish tastes too salty. Thus, the saltiness tends to take over the flavor, and it becomes hard to finish any dish.

Gretchen H.

Yelp
We went to Scottys to try their breakfast, abd it was lovely. Everything we ordered was wonderful. I had the shakshuka, one of my favorites. Another ordered the waffle sandwich. The pork confit was also ordered. We also had the pitcher of mimosas and sat outside. It was lovely. The only thing that ruined the breakfast was the bathrooms. Picture toilets after a drunken concert with 20 somethings and you have the state of the bathroom. Disgusting body fluids and solids everywhere and is that a shower curtain for a stall door? Come on Scottys, you're elegant, so why are you letting this happen in your establishment?

Melanie B.

Yelp
The two vegetarian entrees were very good and the ambiance was nice. However, the service was incredibly slow and we were there half an hour before we even got our salads and an hour before the entree. The server was very casual about how we were after a large party and that's why it took so long. I feel that they should have apologized and perhaps not taken our reservation if they expected such a long delay!

Bradley C.

Yelp
Med Rare ribeye with a beautiful steak knife that couldn't cut through this pound of gristle? So disappointing

Jenn S.

Yelp
Amazing food, fantastic night!! We went to Scotty's Table for date night and it was perfect! The wait staff were attentive and personable. The food... which was my favorite part... has me craving for more! My wife had some kind of grits and shrimp that I was eyeing, even though my food was delicious! We will definitely be going back!

Audrey W.

Yelp
Went here for a Mother's day brunch and we were not disappointed! Our server, Sunni was just a delight and with the exception of the Chicken Fried Steak (shoe leather) our party of six was thrilled with their meals. I personally had the Cerdo con mole and absolutely LOVED it! Great restaurant, great servers, great food!

Micheala J.

Yelp
We enjoyed our dinner. Cioppino was unique and very tasty. I'll come back at brunch if was all a bit pricey for us. It was special, dessert was good, blue cheese beets were amazing

Kelley H.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and setting for this place! Food was delish, down to the butter for the bread. And we had the best bottle of wine, well maybe three bottles . Server, Emily, knew her wines well and was very attentive. Great, great experience.

Ricky C.

Yelp
The Brussel sprouts appetizer were tasty. But everything else was gross. My friend ordered the NY strip it looked good from far away. But after seeing the plate up close, I saw that the kitchen did not peel the asparagus. The pork I ordered was dry and the pita bread was store bought, then popped up n the microwave. I took one bite from my meal and whispered into my partners ear. "This food is gross, and I am not going to eat anymore." He said, "I know and you don't have too." Our server was nice and the decor of the restaurant was too. But the food can be a lot better.

Alma H.

Yelp
We were excited to eat here as they had a really nice menu. For the most part it didn't disappoint, however the service was super slow and it took forever to get most of our items, even the salad. And we came in at 5pm, with a reservation, right when they opened for dinner. If you want good food and have 2+ hours to spare, then this place is perfect for you. But don't go if you don't have much time or are super hungry.

Chanele R.

Yelp
Tricky tricky this one is. On one hand, (some of) the food was awesome, but on the other, the service was pretty rotten, especially when you factor in the price tag. We had reservations and were seated fairly quickly, but then we waited. We waited a little longer. I noticed the guy who had been seated at the same time as us got bread. We waited some more. The server brought us our wine. Still no bread. Finally, we got our appetizer and I just asked for bread. We got it, but... The biggest problem throughout the night was that it was clear the server was not paying any attention to us. I don't want special treatment or for anyone to care about my dietary needs, but this was a little bit over the top. I am honestly a little surprised the food came out correctly. We are vegan, and so we always double check to make sure that the food is as well. The brussels sprouts appetizer - specifically ordered vegan - came out with lardons and creme fraiche on the side. (Um??) The bread came with butter. Immediately after I refused dessert because there were no vegan options, the server brought me cream with my coffee because she "couldn't remember if I asked for cream and sugar." Seriously, I am not a princess, but are you listening to **anything** I say? The people at Subway pay more careful attention to me when I am talking. It was kind of ridiculous, although also wasteful. If she had spent 30 seconds thinking or listening to us, she could have saved bringing unnecessary items to the table that would get tossed anyway. But I guess when you're charging $25 for polenta, who cares? Which brings me to the polenta. It was awesome! There were only two vegan options, so I did the polenta and my husband did the risotto (which was average at best - don't do the risotto!). The polenta was covered in a variety of vegetables and flavors, and it was truly exceptional. Had it not been for this amazing dish, I would have been probably giving a pretty big thumbs down to Scotty's Table. 2.5 stars really, but you get an extra half star for having Louis de Grenelle sparkling on the menu because I haven't found that in the States otherwise.

Kerri M.

Yelp
Haven't been to Scotty's Table since they moved into their new location. It was the best dinner we've had in Missoula in yrs! Had the mussels & fries w/ malt vinegar aioli for an appetizer. Husband had an aged steak from the local Ox Bow Co. w/ kale, asparagus, & scalloped potatoes in an apple cider cream sauce. I had an ahi tuna salad w/ spring greens, rice noodles, wanton crisps, in a wasabi cream sauce. We both had 2 drinks each & our total was 110$. Our server Jeremy was fantastic!

Romeo D.

Yelp
4 of us had dinner at Scotty's Table this last Friday night on the 31st of March and ordered a bottle of Pardigm wine. The wine came out and when they poured to taste, the wine was warm. I held the wine glass thinking that maybe it had just been taken out of the dishwasher but it felt fine. I then held the wine bottle with the waiter standing there (she also was holding the wine bottle) and I said that the bottle was warm. She suggested that they could put the bottle in a ice bucket to chill it. Since it was Paradigm wine I was willing to give it a chance....I mean who wants to throw a bottle of Paradigm wine away? Although it was better than than drinking it warm, that process unfortuantely changed the wine. I have sipped, enjoyed and appreciated that exact bottle of Paradigm wine for years and realized that this restaurant had no appreciation for Paradigm wine let alone selling and serving warm wine to a customer. We unfortunately did not finish the wine even though 3 of the 4 of us enjoy red wine. The service made no effort to ask about this or just plain didn't notice. She either has not been trained properly or didn't care whether we were satisfied with the wine and what condition it was presented to the customer. The restaurant's reputation is that of a nicer to fine dining establishment. This was not our experience. The town of Missoula is expanding their culinary flavor which is great for the locals as well as for visitors and tourism. Scotty's Table needs to employ and train staff that will keep up with the growing competition and appreciation for Missoula's culinary scene. In retrospect, I should have simply returned the bottle and requested another. The food was fine but our experience was tainted by the unenjoyable wine experience. 2 ribeye steaks ordered and shortribs. What a waste!

Ms. Genevieve K.

Yelp
My top pick for a high end weekend brunch. Haven't had dinner there in a couple years, but it was excellent then and judging by the reviews from everyone else, it's still excellent. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and consistently good food. Always a place I take my out of town friends to and they are always impressed.

H. H.

Yelp
We were disappointed with our experience. The steak was overpriced, the cut was butchered incorrectly, and it was under-seasoned. The steak was chewy and tough and it was ordered medium rare. We were told it was a ribeye but it was cut like a new york. The shrimp and grits had great flavor but the portion of grits was minuscule compared to the large amount of tomato sauce they poured on top. The shrimp lacked flavor. We we're looking for fine dining but left disappointed and feeling like we wasted our money.

Dave W.

Yelp
Not much flavor to our Sunday brunch meals. Kind of disappointing. Even the potatoes needed some love. Maybe it wasn't the chefs day to be working I don't know. And they don't have bloody Mary's. Just mimosas and beer. Which I guess is a Montana law.

Lynn A C.

Yelp
I ate there last night and ordered the Rib Eye steak. Besides being expensive, they served my steak to someone else at the table. Well, it really didn't matter, it was the worst steak I've ever ordered in a pretty nice restaurant and so was the one they served to my friend. Waitress said she would check with the chef but no follow up on that either. We had such a stellar dinner there a year ago but won't ever go back. Suggest you try another restaurant, Missoula has a lot of options!!

Sharon S.

Yelp
We had a delicious dinner here last night. Great food, lovely atmosphere and friendly help. We had the mussels, two different salads and the risotto. Everything was delicious and nicely plated. We topped it off with the peach-berry crisp which wasn't too sweet and very tasty. Loved this place!!

Ashley G.

Yelp
We had a phenomenal dinner here while in town last weekend. Not only was the food delicious and impeccably prepared, the service was excellent as well. There was also a great wine list and beer selection so we had one of those dining out experiences you get rarely these days. The steak was perfectly prepared (one medium rare, one rare). The pasta dish was comforting and perfect for a cold winter night. The chicken dish and its sides were a delightful change from the typical chicken, veggie, and potatoes. The sweet potato mash was amazing! The Brussels sprouts were unique and enjoyed by all. The portions were generous making the price very good for what you get on your plate. We had such a great dinner and we look forward to visiting again next time we are in town.

Tim O.

Yelp
I was skeptical after reading many negative reviews; however, three friends and went here for dinner and everyone loved it. The service was spot on, from hostess to waiter to others who brought food, water and drinks. We had the mussels app and the Brussels app, each of which was terrific. Entrees and salads were also well prepared and would be worth coming back for-

Terry D.

Yelp
We revisited Scotty's this week after having a wonderful experience eight years ago while visiting Missoula. We were thrilled that the food, service and ambiance has not changed. Dining here is a pleasure.

Sean K.

Yelp
Overrated. The setting is charming, and the service was good, but the food ranged from "just OK" to lousy. I had to send my entree back, something I've never done before. The famous Caesar was pretty ordinary. Nothing to write home about. In Seattle I can get the same quality Caesar from any pizza joint. I had the seared Ahi (sesame-seed encrusted with a teriyaki glaze and vegetables). I had to spit the first bite into my napkin. I cut a piece from the other side but it was also bad: the fish tasted off/old and was tough/dry/chewy. Besides that, it was incredibly bland and flavorless. My partner also thought it tasted wrong, like cardboard. I eat a lot of fish, especially Ahi, and this was the worst I've ever seen. It's pretty hard to screw up a piece of tuna. Wish apologies, I asked our waitress to return it. I ordered the lamb ravioli appetizer instead. This is three raviolis for $16, and the first one had a large chunk of bone in it (almost the size of a marble). Besides that they just didn't taste very good. The sliced apple / fennel on the side was absolutely drowned in apple-cider vinegar and the whole thing just came off as clumsy and overpowering. My partner liked the pork chop (which was gigantic), but didn't care for the vegetables / sauce and left them on her plate. The bread was fine, served with a pat of salty butter and herbs. The atmosphere was fine, and our waitress was great. If only they knew how to cook this would be a nice place for a romantic date or business dinner. Basically, by west-coast standards the food was overpriced, clumsy, bland, and gross. I wouldn't eat it at half the price (and I'm no food snob; I love to eat at The Oxford or a burger at Mo Club). Perhaps the staples like steak and burgers are OK?

Stephanie E.

Yelp
This was the worst service I have had in a long time and may be my only negative review! My best friend and I went in to celebrate her birthday. We had done our research and were so excited for our special meal. We ordered wine and waited and waited as other people were seated, read the specials, and received attention. We finally ordered an appetizer and waited more. Again, never given the specials nor engaged with. When our ravioli came, one was so over cooked the contents were spilling out, another was undercooked, and the third was mildly respectable. This place exemplified Bougie (wanting to be a higher class than one is). Unless, you are an old, rich white dude who wants to spend $27 sans tip on three subpar ravioli and two glasses of wine, walk up the street and eat at a fantastic Place whose name starts with a C. Or if you're into poor service and terrible food with a high price tag this place is for you!

Dan C.

Yelp
I had the pork chops and the glaze was delish! Good service and enjoyable sidewalk setting. Thanks all!

David S.

Yelp
Thank you Scottys Table for making our best friends birthdays memorable. Amazing service, food and wine topped off with great atmosphere. You never let us down.
