SCP Hotel Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs, Colorado) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Culturally speaking, Colorado Springs might not be the first place you would expect to find an eco-friendly boutique hotel, especially one whose initials stand for something like Soul Community Planet. But this part of the Front Range certainly has the natural beauty to justify it, and the SCP Hotel Colorado Springs, after a thorough renovation of a two-level Sixties motel, doesn’t go halfway — this is as stylish and fully realized a boutique hotel as we’ve seen within 500 miles or more." - Tablet Hotels

SCP is truly a hidden gem! While the exterior might look a bit unassuming, the moment you step into the lobby you’re welcomed by cool art, fun games for all ages, a cute bar, and an amazing atmosphere. Speaking of amazing—let’s talk about the staff. I’ve never seen a team work so seamlessly together. Special thanks to Adam, Sheree, and Silace for being so welcoming and accommodating. They made my entire stay effortless. My flight was delayed due to weather, and the team extended my stay and offered a late checkout without any hassle. Housekeeping was friendly and checked in daily, even though I didn’t always need service. SCP is close to entertainment, downtown, and great restaurants. Whenever I’m in Colorado Springs, I’ll absolutely be booking my stay with this incredible establishment again.

The exterior doesn’t fully show how nice it is inside… but the moment you step into the lobby, it feels like a whole different world. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and so welcoming. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, modern, and cozy. They really outdid themselves with the amenities: a bar, a pool table, a projector, books to read, board games, an art area to paint, a pool, a gym, a yoga room, and they also serve a light breakfast, and they’re also dog friendly. The staff is truly wonderful top tier customer service all the way. They’re knowledgeable, super sweet, and make you feel right at home. The rooms are just as impressive. Very clean, nicely designed, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. Overall, I give this place a solid 5 stars. Highly recommended!

I had the best checking experience I've ever had in my life. Adam welcomed me as enthusiastically as I have ever been welcomed. He then showcased his personality which was outstanding. The hotel is huge. I have been here two days and I keep finding new things every time I walk around. The only things missing in my room, which is huge, is a place to hang clothes and plastic cups. I would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. First time in a hotel with the dog and she was very comfortable especially at the dog park they have. Loved the bar and unique lounge. Also if you have an EV the charging is free which was a huge plus for us. Very affordable too. Adam who was working at the front was very friendly. We will definitely come back when we visit the springs.

This hotel is great for groups and parties that have persons with disabilities and service dogs. They have a cute little area for doggies. Dante and Rose at the front desk are super sweet and they truly care about their guests. We came for a girls trip in the hotel made us feel very welcome and appreciative of our business. The staff has always kind and super helpful. Mr. G on the ground crew helped me look for my lost wallet that was in my bag where I couldn’t see it. They really care about making the guest experience wonderful. I’m so grateful to United airlines for putting me here on a layover one time and discovering this cute little quaint hotel with an amazing Mountain View.

We stumbled upon SCP Hotel after a frustrating start to our trip. We had originally booked another hotel in town, but upon arrival, it was filthy and located in an area that felt completely unsafe—with people loitering in the parking lot. We canceled immediately and began a desperate search for a clean, safe, and reasonably priced place to stay for one night. After calling around and finding that most hotels either couldn’t accommodate our family of five or were charging over $500 a night (often with poor reviews and sketchy surroundings), we were exhausted and discouraged—until we found SCP. They offered us a great price on two adjoining rooms that gave us a lot of space. The kids were blown away that they had thier own room. From the outside, the hotel has a modest, almost motel-like appearance. But once we stepped into the Commons, we were blown away. The space is modern, warm, and welcoming with a unique industrial-rustic aesthetic. It had something for everyone: 🎨 A rock painting station (the kids loved seeing their creations displayed later on the fountain outside) 🍸 A free welcome drink for each adult at the bar 🎬 A movie projector 🎱 Pool table 🧘‍♂️ Meditation room 🏋️‍♂️ A huge gym 🏊‍♀️ A large outdoor pool 🕹️ Cornhole and other games The connected rooms were comfortable and clean, perfect for our family. While the complimentary breakfast was simple, the coffee and muffins hit the spot. Everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating, making the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. If I had to point out anything, I’d say the property could use a bit of fresh paint in spots—but it’s clearly a hotel that’s evolving and improving, and I have no doubt it’ll only get better. We absolutely recommend SCP—not just because it saved our trip, but because it’s the kind of place every city should have: affordable, family-friendly, and full of soul. We wish we had more time to stay and enjoy everything it had to offer.

Such a great vibe here! Kind and helpful employees, spacious clean rooms, beers on tap are delicious. Close to I-25 so we can commute easily anywhere we want to go.
