If you love nature, wildlife, and amazing sunsets, this is the place for you. Immersed within one of the world’s most intense, biodiversity spots, this hotel brings nature to your doorstep from the very first moment. Literally step into the Corcovado national direct from your beautiful and elegant room. We were lucky to spot on the first day a puma, two anteaters, a tapir, wild boars, three species of monkeys, and many species of birds and other wild animals. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledge. The staff at the hotel are always there to help. The food was very nice as well.

The final days of our Costa Rica holiday spent at Corcovado Wilderness Lodge exceeded all our expectations. From arrival to our reluctant departure, every moment was magical. |The privilege of sharing such a beautiful location with amazing wildlife in idyllic isolation was fantastic. Be sure to take a walk in the prime rain forest and a trip to Caño island. |Everyone at CWL was so friendly and spoke passionately about the unique flora and fauna to be found on the Osa peninsula. We’re sure to visit here again in the future.

What an incredible place. |It’s gonna be a long one but please read if you’re thinking about visiting!||I was lucky enough to visit Corcovado Wilderness lodge with my family on a once in a lifetime trip to Costa Rica. I haven’t traveled a lot at 21 years of age, but this place was paradise. We visited some incredible places… but saved the best till last. ||The Lodge-|One of the most beautiful places to ever grace my eye balls. A total mix of gorgeous pacific coast and amazing rainforest, packed with intense wildlife.||Our actual lodge we were staying in (twin room for me and my brother) was amazing, with two very comfy double beds, a really nice shower room and lovely surrounding area/little garden. ||The food was unreal! As vegetarians it can be quite disappointing getting food out or when travelling. But these were some of the nicest meals I’ve ever had.||The staff- |What makes this place an 11/10 is the amazing staff. |We were lucky enough to arrive on a day where we were the only people there! So we got to know the staff well. |It’s hard to say names because everyone from the general staff, to the waiters/ waitresses, front desk, drivers, boat staff, cleaners, chefs and guides were all so incredibly nice and welcoming. But a massive thank you to (and I hope I’ve spelt these ok aha) Diana and luis who were absolutely amazing and so friendly. Steven and Adrian , who were our guides for most of the activities, were incredible. I learnt more in Costa Rica from these guys and the other brilliant guides than I learnt in 16 years at school! And on top of that, really lovely (and very funny) people. ||A massive big up to Justin, an absolute legend. Amazing host (and Spanish teacher), with top quality humour, and someone we were lucky enough to share an amazing sunset with on our first night.||And to Rodger (my long lost Costa Rica’n uncle) and Marco. Again, absolute legends and so so friendly, who invited me and my brother to play footy (or … soccor) with the staff, of which we did twice. Although I hadn’t played in years and got absolutely rolled over by these ballers, was proper good fun and I’m lucky to have played with such a good bunch of people. Would recommend to anyone to have a game or two. (As long as you’re ok with getting torn apart by prime Barcelona football aha).||Everyone was amazing!||-The activities |We were lucky enough to go on the whale and dolphin tour, of which we were blessed with jumping baby whales and an amazing adult, female humpback whale, who gave us a display of a lifetime ||The national park hike (or longer walk) was also amazing (full of wildlife), and Steven was very informative ||The snorkelling trip was also an exiting experience…that I came out of with 2nd degree sunburn (remember your sun cream aha). Adrian was amazing, and again, very informative about the wildlife and sea biome! ||Could not recommend Corcovado Wildness lodge enough!|One day I’ll definitely return!!:))

A special place. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to visit this amazing place. Right at the edge of the National Park you are surrounded by all sorts of animals which walk through the grounds . Special thanks to Steven the guide who looked after us , Luis in the bar and Roger . These staff made us feel so welcome and wanted to make our experience the best . The boat trip was spectacular and as we arrived early they took a detour to show us more animals which was great . We saw whales on the snorkeling trip and on the way back .Tapir and Coati visit the grounds .|I would have loved to have a sea view villa which looked amazing but we had a 2 bed bungalow with a sofa bed for our family which was good . We previously stayed in Oxygen Jungle Villas ( their other property ) and the food was better there . Considering it is so remote however they do very well to accommodate everyone’s needs . |Overall we had a wonderful visit and will remember it forever !|Well done to all the staff !

This is a beautiful place. I found the journey to get here quite hard going, especially the boat ride, which is very bumpy, and you do need water shoes as you will get your feet wet getting off the boat. Our accommodation ( bungalow 2) had less space than that of the couples we were travelling with - ours opened straight into the bedroom while others have a lobby area where you can hang up wet things, also with sitting area. Ours had no chairs or anywhere to sit, while other bungalows has sofas and chairs. There is an indoor and outdoor shower. It was clean and comfortable. We had a couple of minor issues - flickering ceiling light, towels taken away but not replaced, but these issues were immediately put right when we reported them. We saw tapirs in the grounds, macaws and other species of birds, coatis, lizards, monkeys in the trees. Some people saw a puma while we were there, but we were not lucky enough to see it.|The food is very good, mainly menu rather than buffet, although one breakfast was a buffet. There is a lovely restaurant over looking the sea where you can have a cocktail as you watch the sunset. The staff made sure the vegan member of our group was well catered for.|This is the place to go for wildlife. We had a guided hike into the national park ( the lodge is actually on the edge of the national park so you can walk in), saw many animals and birds with the help of our guide Maikey, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. You are lent rubber boots which are essential as it is very muddy in places. I am the oldest member of our group of 6 and was helped all the way by the guide on the sometimes rough terrain, and he also made sure everyone saw all the creatures he was pointing out. He was excellent throughout.|We also had a snorkelling trip, but we were unfortunate with the weather and several of us were seasick on the boat, so were put onto the beach of the island while others snorkelled. Those who did snorkel saw turtles and sharks. The journey to Cano island takes about half an hour and can be quite rough. Snorkelling is in the sea off the boat, no nice little calm coves. We saw humpback whales on the way there and back.|I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for the nature. Staff are helpful and attentive and make sure you enjoy your stay.

Amazing experience. The animals, accommodations, and food were awesome, but it was truly the people who made it great. From the guides to hospitality, everyone really cared about our wants and worked together to make some pretty cool things come to life. I'm amazed at how special they made our family feel. Everyone went above and beyond any possible expectations to make our time there special. The humpback whales were spectacular, and so were the tapir, monkeys, and band of coati. My family's favorite part was checking the game cams. Even getting to the Drake Bay airport was fun. Thank you to everyone. It was truly a once in a lifetime adventure.

We’ve been lucky enough to travel to some truly special places over the years, but our recent stay at Corcovado Wilderness Lodge by SCP stands out. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the team made it feel like much more than just a trip – it was an experience we’ll remember for a long time.||Two highlights stand out. First, a snorkelling boat trip to the nearby island - while the reef has been impacted by bleaching, the return trip put on a great treat of up close viewing of humpback whales, the younger of which enjoyed tail slapping and breaching to our great delight. We also managed to see numerous green turtles – one of those pinch‑yourself moments you know you’ll never forget. ||Second, a great rainforest walk with our guide Tibi, whose knowledge and passion for the wildlife and ecosystem brought the forest to life.||The staff were outstanding. ||Roger, Marco, Justin, Edward, Carla and Diego all went above and beyond to make every detail perfect, from the little touches in the lodge to organising seamless excursions. Their genuine hospitality and enthusiasm made all the difference.||If you’re looking for a combination of adventure, nature and true Costa Rican warmth, Corcovado Wilderness Lodge is the place to go. We left with big smiles and would happily visit for a return trip.

A truly unforgettable experience in the heart of the rainforest! Corcovado Wilderness Lodge is a magical place – remote, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking nature. Even the arrival by boat felt like the beginning of an adventure: as we cruised along the coastline, we were treated to spectacular views of the lush jungle meeting the ocean – absolutely stunning! We stayed in an Ocean Tree House, beautifully designed and well-equipped with a fan, air conditioning, indoor shower and bathtub, and a hammock overlooking the ocean – pure serenity and comfort right in the wild. During our excursion into Corcovado National Park, we were lucky to spot tapirs, howler monkeys, colorful frogs, and countless birds. At the lodge itself, we had close encounters with coatis, spider monkeys, scarlet macaws, and toucans – all just a few steps from our room! The diving tour was another highlight: crystal-clear water, a variety of vibrant reef fish, and graceful sea turtles – simply unforgettable. One thing that gave us extra peace of mind: the lodge has access to a local doctor, who was on site within minutes when we needed help with a bee sting and a tick bite. Especially since we’re expecting a baby, this kind of care and quick medical attention meant a lot to us. What really made this stay special was the exceptionally friendly and caring staff. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful support throughout our stay, we felt truly looked after. The food was outstanding every day – beautifully presented, fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. We leave with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime.
