SCP Hotel Redmond (Redmond, Oregon) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"SCP stands for Soul Community Planet, which should give you some idea of the eco-friendly, wellness-focused ethos on offer at the SCP Hotel Redmond. It’s an extensive reimagining of the old New Redmond Hotel, which has presided over downtown Redmond, Oregon for almost a century. Inside you’ll find calming minimalist-chic rooms and suites decorated with artwork and materials that refer to Oregon’s unusual natural beauty — and on the rooftop you’ll find an indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar, an open-air complement to the ground-floor Wayfarer Lounge and the grab-and-go Provisions Market." - Tablet Hotels

My team and I stayed at the SCP in Redmond for a work trip and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and welcoming, but what truly set it apart was the team. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially as we were coordinating event rooms for a video shoot. They were flexible, professional, and always willing to help troubleshoot on the spot, which made a big difference in keeping our production smooth.||The rooms were spacious and comfortable with everything I needed to relax after long shoot days. The common areas were equally impressive, bright, well-kept, and easy to work from when I needed extra space. The location was also ideal, close to City Hall and other key spots, which was incredibly convenient for our schedule.||What really stood out to me was the hospitality. The SCP team didn’t just “do their job,” they welcomed us and made sure we felt taken care of throughout our stay. That kind of service is rare and memorable.||I’d highly recommend SCP in Redmond not just for business travelers, but for anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area. Whether you’re there for work, an event, or simply passing through, you’ll be well looked after.

What we did love: Terra Kitchen, the Rooftop, Wayfarer, and Provisions market! Having everything under one roof and not having to map out where to go was so refreshing. The staff at each location were amazing and the food and drinks were fantastic! The overall atmosphere of the hotel is really peaceful and the location is great for walking and exploring downtown Redmond. The room, while small, had nice amenities to it and felt clean. What I didn't love: Could not sleep. Like at all. Booked the basic queen room, it's small, but had everything we could need for just an overnight trip so that was fine. What wasn't fine was that the bed was directly across from the door and the door isn't insulated so it let the light from the hallway just flood in making it impossible to fall asleep. Also due to the lack of insulation I could hear every conversation and slamming door of guests all throughout the night. Both made for an unpleasant experience. When we left the next day I got a peek at one of the larger rooms being cleaned and the layout of the bed was well away from the door so I'll give the benefit of the doubt that maybe if you're booking the larger rooms you won't experience the same problem, but at least for the basic one it was not great if you're someone who struggles with light/sound disturbing sleep.

I had a fantastic stay at SCP Redmond! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and eco-conscious, with modern, cozy rooms and thoughtful amenities. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel right at home—especially Lauryn at the front desk, who was kind, helpful, and made checkout a breeze. The entire vibe of the hotel is peaceful and uplifting, with wellness-focused touches like refill stations, plant-based options, and an incredible rooftop space to relax and take in the view. The location is perfect for exploring Redmond and the surrounding area. I’ll definitely be back—SCP truly lives up to its “Soul Community Planet” mission!

The SCP is a great hotel and great location in Redmond. Really nice to have the variety of food options and bar and coffee drinks available. Very impressive operation to have there in the smaller Redmond market. Bonus that the SCP also helps give back to the local community.

We worked with Kym to host an important business party for about 75 guests in their beautiful event room. Kym was so generous with her time in helping us plan and execute this event. Leading up to the event, there were several modifications we had to make to our plan, and Kym was so responsive in making them happen. When we arrived, everything we had asked for was exactly as we had discussed, and Kym and her staff were extremely accommodating when we had realized we needed some last minute support setting up the technology for the event. Everyone who attended remarked on the hospitality and beautiful space. I highly recommend anyone looking to host a high-class, professional event in Central Oregon to choose SCP Redmond Hotel!

I had a wonderful stay! Create location in Redmond, wonderfully comfortable room full of character, and amazing staff. One helped me with an iron for my room promptly and cheerfully. The on-site food is also high quality and tasty. Can't wait to come back!

From top to bottom the staff at the SCP give 5 star service and truly treat me like family when I am away from home -- Tobais and Lauren run an excellent property and hire the right people to run the hotel! I am a pilot for an aerial firefigthing company and spend a lot of time in the Bend/Redmond area and they work very hard (even when occupancy is very limited with the busy summer event schedule) to find me a room and provide the government rate as I am here on a federal contract working on the wildfires in the area. The hotel has an emphasis on wellness and well being and this is made clear in all of my interactions with the folks who work here. Carmen also does an awesome job at the front desk helping me get checked in and Heather, Maggie and Veronica are always there in the morning to make my caramel latte and an amazing breakfast burrito at the provisions market where you can get grab and go items and super good breakfast and lunch options. After a long day of flying I am happy to come back and be greeted Sara, Brittaney, Kels, or Ethan the amazing bar tenders at the Wayfarer bar or up on the rooftop where they have a wide selection of beer and a variety of super tasty custom made cocktails. If you are making a trip to Redmond, definitely stay the the SCP its a botique hotel with luxurious rooms, service, and location in the heart of downtown!

After days of asphalt chatter, walking into SCP Redmond felt like exhaling. Brenda welcomed Beatrice (my pup) and me with a smile I can still feel, and Carmen—sharing our elevator—paused to show us the rooftop before we’d even seen our room. Their dog policy is blissfully simple: modest fee, no size shaming, and a treat bag that sent Bea into full-body wiggles!||Our Queen Suite nailed the essentials: uncluttered, wood-and-linen calm, walk-in shower hotter than a hot spring. I asked who made it sparkle; the front desk said Jazzy and Dori, so thanks for the cedar-fresh perfection!||Dinner at Terra Kitchen was the highlight! Chef Erin serves plant-forward comfort that feels like family wrapping you in warmth & love...it truly shows her passion to provide via her cuisine. Nichole became Bea’s bestie the moment she set down water (for both of us) as we dined in the relaxing lobby, and Blake floated by asking if we needed anything with effortless calm and coolness.||Golden hour belongs to The Rooftop: Cascade peaks blushing pink while craft cocktails mirror the sky. Downstairs, Brittany and Sarah keep Wayfarer glowing with laughs, stories, and thoughtful NA pour options too!||Christian met Bea the next morning, treats in hand, and Paige held the fort that night while I worked in the lobby; both cool under pressure and quick with Provisions refuels!||Props to GM Tobias and AGM Kristen: their Soul-Community-Planet ethos is a heartbeat, not a slogan! Thank you 2 for keeping the mission on point!||At checkout Bea leaned hard toward the lobby; tail-wag verdict delivered...so we’ll be back many more times in the future 🐾💖 If there is vacancy, do not pass up on the opportunity...it truly is the essence of wellness hospitality!

Yelp
Decided to stay here due to Bend area being ridiculously expensive on a Thursday. A short 25 minute drive later here we are. This place was nice and clean, love the decor here as well. It was nice and roomy had most of the stuff you need. Only thing was they don't have microwaves in the rooms but they do have one downstairs in the lobby. No ice machines either but they will provide you with a buck of ice upon request. This place has a bar downstairs near the lobby and a rooftop bar and grill that looks pretty nice. I would recommend giving this place a look if you are in the area and need a place to stay.

Yelp
Nice hotel. Elevator went out and wasn't fixed before we left. Beware if you order door dash. Their app has the hotel address wrong.

Yelp
The huevos rancheros with homemade enchilada sauce is amazing and great depth of flavors. Has become my go to lunch! Heather recommended and has not let us down! Her customer service is amazing

Yelp
Great hotel. Ambience is awesome. Great service - Christian went above and beyond to get me an item I left in my room. The rooftop, bar, and provisions market are all great spots. If you're staying in Redmond this is the spot.

Yelp
This place was so nice!!! The bar is killer and they even give you a free drink when you check in. The bartender dude makes up sangrias and other tasty drinks. This has got to be one of the quietest places I have stayed at. Not like LaQuinta or Holiday Inn where the walls are paper thin. I was even in room 217 right next to the main road intersection just outside the front of the hotel. The upper bar is awesome on the top of the roof with awesome views of the mountains up there. I would definitely stay at this place again.

Yelp
Love this hotel! second time here and it's a pleasure.. staff is friendly, rooms are clean and location is perfect!

Bob R.

Yelp
This hotel has a problem with rooms that are near an outdoor heat pump. The device emits a low frequency vibration that made it impossible to sleep. When I put my head on the pillow I could feel the vibrations throughout my body. I can't believe that I'm the first person to remark on this. Do not rent room 203 or adjoining rooms. And after no sleep I'm waiting for the cook to arrive; it's 7:30 and counting.

Yelp
Having traveled extensively across the world, staying at a variety of hotels, this is my favorite hotel hands-down. Such great energy, the ambience, the music, food , all of it! I have stayed here multiple times, and it is always been such a delight and a treat. The staff are incredibly accommodating and lovely, the food is fantastic and the location is perfect. I can't tell you how grateful I am for me and my dog 's multiple stays here. Additionally, I've shown my art on the first Friday here and had such a fun experience doing that as well. I have and will continue to recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone I know! Having to travel quite a bit for work, I never know what to expect when it comes to lodging, I always know what to expect when I come to the Redmond SCP hotel and that is a guaranteed, relaxing, rejuvenating ,nurturing stay. I love this place! The only suggestion I have that may be helpful is to be more clear regarding parking, other than that this place has my heart!

Yelp
Cute hotel downtown but Definately going for an aesthetic. Rooms are clean well done but small. Bed was great. A/c was great. Lack of insulation made you hear every step above below or adjacent to your room. They give you earlplugs but really? No microwave. Food choices are limited and expensive. Parking is a little weird. Behind a bank on the next block they have six spots. They are marked. So expect to drag your bags. I thought it was overpriced and aimed at a certain group of travelers. Also the hallways smelled musty.

Yelp
Hotel is charming and staff we friendly. It would have been nice to have been informed earlier than the day of arrival 8/15/24 that the elevator is out of service until 9/7/2024. I was on the 2nd floor and they don't have any rooms on the first floor. My room was clean, small but comfortable for a one night stay as I had a very early flight out of Redmond airport. The hotel is in a location where it's very loud. They have ear plugs on the nightstand but I didn't use them as I was worried I would not hear my alarm go off at 3:15am. I went to bed a 10pm and didn't fall asleep until around 1:00 am due to the cars, motorcycles and people in the room on the third floor walking around, flushing toilets, etc. It's a cute hotel but due to the noise factor I would not stay there again.

Yelp
Built in 1928 original downtown Redmond as a hotel. SCP bought & renovated in 2017 opened in 2018. Check in was easy & fast. Everyone was very pleasant. Parking is on street or around back behind the bank. The room was small but adequate. Very clean & everything is white. A Zen vibe a sound machine playing when we entered & Himalayan salt lamp lit. The queen bed was super comfy & they provide earplugs. The bathroom was small but has a large step in shower. The permanently mounted tray the shampoo, conditioner & soap dispensers set in needed to be cleaned under bottles. It was a gummy mess under each one. Only big down side was ALL rooms are pet friendly. Not the best for my allergies or others. The guy at desk stated they do a microbial spray when a pet has been in room. My socks & slippers were full of 1" long dog hair. So housekeeping must not vacuum well. It ended up all over the clean bath mat. I was not happy, but let it go & didn't say anything to front desk. We would stay here again but probably ask that they vacuum before we arrive. They have a jute looking woven area rug on original hardwood floor. I presume that is where the dog hair came from. There is roof top dining patio with a drink menu I had an excellent Marion berry Mojito. Dinner menu was vegetarian but I love veggies so didn't mind not having meat. I selected the Garden Bruschetta which was delicious served with thinly sliced grilled Zucchini & yellow summer squash tomatoes, mozzarella & thin grilled crisp toast triangles. Also ordered the smashed potatoes they were pretty dry. Small purple potatoes that were cut in 1/2 & baked but not smashed. Served with a herb aioli that was good. I wouldn't order them again. My husband has a virgin Marion Berry margarita. Also a Marion Berry smear of jam with desert biscuit & Chantilly cream. Said it was delish.

Yelp
I usually limit my reviews to restaurants but could not pass up reviewing SCP in Redmond. Service: top notch; cleanliness, excellent; room, spotless; bed, very comfortable. Convenient access to public parking a block west with free EV charging. Can't say anything bad about this place. AND... go to their website. They practice sustainability and giving back in an intentional way. Soul. Community. Planet.

Yelp
Friendly staff and tidy hotel on the Main Street in Redmond "old town". Many shops, restaurants and establishments in very walkable distance. Rooms are simple but perfect for sleeping and going out to explore. Bathroom had a shower only and efficient use of space with smallest sink ever. Room had a large full length mirror which helped make the space feel larger and eased dressing in the morning. There is a smell in the halls due to the age of the building but nothing unbearable. The cafe downstairs serves tasty breakfast and drinks and the space is flooded with natural light. Community room complete with hammock swings and yoga, business center and rooftop bar round out the offerings.

Yelp
They have hit it out of the park with this eco focused , lifestyle promoting hotel. The lobby is like walking into a Real Simple centerfold, with every cool arty repurposed decor that one wold expect from an upscale stay in NYC or LA; we're talking record player and gadget sterilized across from the check in desk, where you are created with a complementary beverage- with or without buzz. Down the spacious hall is a common workspace area that makes one want to write a screen play. This accord the hall from the gleaming gym where 2 Pell atoms share space with a bunch of yoga mats and very tasteful planned walk decor.. And you haven't even gotten to your room yet!!! When you do, you'll want to move in. From sitting areas with comfy couches, refrigerator, safe, killer bathroom shower- most importantly of all VERY COMFORTABLE BED. We did this on a last minute splurge so it wasn't cheap but seriously, worth the price in every way. They even plant a tree for you to offset all that carbon you burned getting here. We'll be back.

Yelp
I absolutely love this hotel Nestled in an old building on Main Street, this nicely maintained and beautifully decorated hotel is cozy and very convenient to where you need to go in Redmond or even Bend. What was great about this place, is not only the room which had a "living room" and a king size bed, black and white tiled bathroom floors and a huge bathroom, walk-in shower. It also had a business area that one could conduct a meeting, or just work in privately. A very nice room that I did yoga and Pilates in daily, as well a wonderful lounge. As you come in off of Main Street, the lobby has a few couches next to the fireplace and a record player that you can choose some music to relax and read a good book. Then a quaint cafe for a quick bite. So many more great things about this little gem to name. I will be coming back again and again. I ended up extending my stay as it was just a great spot. Excellent food trucks just a block away and at Christmas and Halloween, many wonderful attractions for family right out on Main Street...

Yelp
LOVE this hotel! It is refurbished from the early 1900s but overall, a quaint, comfortable, welcoming place to be! The bed is comfortable, the sheets are amazing, room is spacious (I stayed in King Premium), and the rooftop ... just wow! View of the 5 mountain! Only downsides were the TVs were mounted too high on the wall for comfortable viewing and no coffee maker in the room (only in the lobby). I will Definitely stay here again!

Yelp
This is what hotels should be-vibrant, local and relevant. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The staff is personable and helpful. The service at the bar and restaurant is laudable . There is a decidedly ecological and sustainable ethos to the place. I've been taking the stairs because the stairwell is just so engaging. I've been here for two days. I was just going to stay for one and I changed plans. We had dinner on the rooftop and it is not to be missed. Perhaps it was the confluence of company, good food and the realization that good conversation always happens over dinner outside. OK. I'm not a paid shill. I like this place. I could've stayed anywhere. Here is where its at.

Yelp
Very unique hotel. Refurbished from a 1927 hotel. Has a lot of modern amenities with a touch of original architecture and misc. stuff. Kind of smells a little musky inside. Great bar downstairs and a boho inspired lobby and breakfast /juice area. My one suggestion: Change the hours for the bar. Happy hour should be 4-6 . Not 3-5 . And stay open til 10 not 9 . Multiple nights I saw people disappointed that they closed at 9. But overall , a very cool place.

Yelp
This hotel is simply AMAZING! The historic feel, the vibe, the decor, the tasteful rooms, the location - everything here kept us in awe. The sound machine and bedside earplugs were a great touch as well. The staff were all so amazing (with one exception). Family booked us a room, beating the online discounted prices we were about to book with, which never happens with hotels direct booking. that was so great. They even accommodated our late night check in with a smile, when we decided to drive straight through and arrive at midnight, a day earlier than expected. We were so very happy with our stay at this hotel, with one small exception.... two ladies closing down the rooftop bar who were less than friendly. We were met with snarky remarks and unkind demeanor when we showed up after closing. Yes we should have looked at rooftop hours before heading up. Even still, these two ladies did not need to be rude. They said it is a city noise ordinance, when asked why they were closed before 9pm on a Saturday night. No problem, but when I curiously asked why a noise ordinance would apply to the rooftop but not to the bar and street below they responded with sarcasm and rude tone. When we arrived at midnight the evening prior, there were about two dozen loud drunk people socializing outside of the local bar just across from the hotel, (which we thought was great btw) so I found it odd that city noise ordinance would prevent the rooftop bar from being open longer. It turns out the hotel bar offers the same food menu, which these rude ladies could have very easily directed us to. Other than these two, we did really enjoy the hotel and will stay again.

Yelp
The positive. In a good location to walk to many restaurants and bars. Good view from the third floor. The negative. It is an old loud building. Floors are loud and doors don't close tight. Bed was to firm for my liking. Crack heads in the next room kept fighting and security had to settle them down. Roof top area was closed. Parking on street. Did not get a good nights sleep. Overpriced for what you get. Update: stand up company. They did refund my stay.

Yelp
This boutique hotel is awesome with only one flaw. It got full stars for food, drinks, and the adorable room and very nice prices for the quality. But First the flaw because it did annoy me. Everything about this hotel screams dog friendly. All over website, dog friendly and the vibe is clearly there when you check in. Sustainable, earthy, laidback, clean, fresh, good vibes, etc. But, they will not let a dog, even service dog, well trained dog or small dog on the rooftop patio outside which is okay but really???. And they should post this on website. The part that annoys me the most is the incredibly rude and Poorly informed hostess who told us it was against the law. That is untrue. Oregon allows dogs in restaurants. A restaurant can choose to not allow dogs, (unless service dogs) but it's not against the law since 2017 as the rude service hostess "hotly" proclaimed incorrectly. She also didn't ask if ours was a service dog which she really should have. A hotel should not proclaim to be dog friendly, earthy, sustainable, easy going and then not allow a well trained dog outside on a patio. We are in Oregon, it's pretty laid back here. We are traveling through many states and we have our family dog which is the number one reason we stayed here at SCP. Our dog is 100 percent well trained. It's OUTSIDE and she's allowed everywhere else in hotel. Seriously would not have bothered a soul but if this is your POLICY, please eliminate your rude approach (probably isolated to this one person). But if not for this one rude soul and bad policy, the rooftop was seriously a dream and food was outstanding! A little slow on service but it was worth it. The rest of the staff were all VERY GOOD! The awesome bartender makes some of the best drinks I've ever had and I've traveled the world. The food was OUTSTANDING, healthy and tasty beyond anything expected. My husband and I loved it. The room, we booked a suite, was similarly awesome! Huge gorgeous space. Small bathrooms around sink space but large showers and we had two bathrooms so that was nice, and contributed to the charm. Hard wood floors, fluffy pillows, sofa, lots of space and a desk. Clean and nice. Place is downtown. Restaurants everywhere but definitely book a reservation at the rooftop! Hopefully if you have your best furry friend with you, the hotel will have updated their antiquated patio dog policy by the time you stay. And you should definitely stay!!

Yelp
A nicely refurbished building. Great roof top bar. Beautiful views. Odd off putting interaction with evening front desk person. Kind of put a sour spot on the evening. I wanted to get an ice bucket filled and no one was at front desk. After listening to a few verses of 8O's music playing in the lobby. I saw her in the kitchen so I knocked to ask her kindly for ice. She gave me a rude stare. She let me know if I waited she would be tending the desk soon. She was so annoyed it was unbelievable. Obviously, she does not belong in hospitality! It really was not my plan to wait until she got dishes done to get ice. I am on vacation. Very weird reaction.

Yelp
We booked this hotel at the last minute to extend our roadtrip just "one more day". WOW! We were THRILLED that we got so lucky. The hotel is beautiful! The staff was friendly, the ammenities were fantastic. There are great places to eat along the downtown corridor. We came in with ZERO expectations and were REALLY impressed. They have done a GREAT job with the renovation. Tons of character and charm with all the modern touches and comforts. We will ABSOLUTELY be coming back!

Yelp
Nice renovation, nice cafe, and a nice mantra they promote. A pity they showed none of that to AK's Tearoom and forced them out.

Yelp
I never write reviews, but this place absolutely blew us away. Once people find out about it, this place will be the most popular hotel in the Bend area. Above all, it's an exceptionally well-designed and well-run hotel with top notch rooms, common areas, food and an incredible rooftop deck. We were also impressed with the business's environmental philosophy. Every action is tied back to its environmental mission. Food/beer is local (veggies from a rooftop garden); product is sustainable; they even plant a tree in your name when you make a reservation with them. Somehow the rates are extremely reasonable. Have no clue how the do it. My gf and I stayed in a high end downtown Portland hotel the night before, and we were more impressed with this place.
google avatar

Jenn C.

Yelp
Even better in person and at a great price! Everything is nice and clean, sanitizing stations right by the elevators on each floor. Gwin checked us in and was very friendly, wearing a face mask (which my bf and I appreciated), and let us watch the sunset from the rooftop which was beautiful. Thank you Gwin!

Yelp
This was honestly my favorite hotel ever for the price I paid. For just $75 you get what seems like a brand new really tastefully furnished room that is really spacious and has everything you need for a good night stay. It was so stylish and fashionably elegant that it looks like a work of a very good interior designer. The room didn't have a microwave or any basic tea sets that you can find in most other hotel rooms but it wasn't a very big deal for us. We came during a COVID-19 epidemic period but the staff still provided us with a delicious breakfast that included coffee, granola, fresh fruit and local banana bread and muffins. If you ever pass through this part of Oregon looking for a hotel, you should definitely consider staying at the CSP hotel in Redmond!

Yelp
Booked this place while in town for a concert. It was so cute and updated while still maintaining the old school charm or Redmond. The suite was spacious with the pull out couch and the extra comfy plush bed. I loved the small touches of decoration like the wall climbing men, to the real plants. What I have to say I love the absolute most is that you can pay by the hour for later checkout. I was so hungover that I couldnt even imagine moving from bed, let alone wheeling my bags and leaving. I was able to pay I believe around $20-40 bucks an hour and I needed I think like an extra 3 hours lol. Trust me, its a life saver if you need it and I did. The rooftop bar provides a great view, but when we went they were out out of just about everything from types of drinks/alcohol and food. I would def stay here again as its close to the cute little park across the way, to the bar across the street.

Yelp
This place has amazing service. We had a bit of a snafu with our booking and they made it right. I just found out they are brand new and were just opened pre covid. They are doing it right and I praise their efforts. I hope they get to stay in business and thrive. So many business on the block had signs up that they were closing, it's sad times.

Yelp
Redmond, OR is not known for good lodging options, but that has changed for the better. We were recommended to try the SCP in downtown Redmond and I was very happy with my 4 night stay there. The SCP went to great lengths to fully remodel and update this cool, old hotel property in downtown Redmond. Rooms are very nice and up-to-date, the staff is amazing and the downstairs space with the market is a great place to hang out. I will absolutely make this my go to choice for a hotel when in town and have recommended it to several others I know who will be traveling there soon.

Yelp
I live in Redmond and had heard a small buzz, so tried it out and was blown away, all the way from the staff, to the amazing quality food and drink!! I mean amazing... Thought the fresh squeezed peach and vanilla margarita was fabulous, fresh fun menu for the foodie, I liked everything I tried but I'll never forget how fresh the celery was with the hummus, I mean it snapped off, so crisp... everything they serve has the extra that made me feel good...you have to experience the rooftop restaurant and bar, great views of the cascade mountains and other roof tops, probably the only other building taller in Redmond is the airport tower. I went with the premium king room and glad I did, nice to have a large space, comfy, clean rooms, perfectly located in town, for other action, will be back

Yelp
Excellent food and staff. Needed a location to grab lunch and take some calls. Excellent accommodations.

Nice cozy hotel that has been updated. Yes old, but fine we'll and staff were helpful and friendly.

Yelp
I had such a blast at this hotel! It's got everything: nice room, spinner downstairs, rooftop bar, and a turntable with plenty of classic vinyl in the lobby! Christian was the coolest front desk manager and I enjoyed chatting with him. This place definitely stands out as a chic, eco-friendly hotel and I'd recommend staying here if you're passing through Redmond OR.

Yelp
Lovely refurbished hotel with amazingly friendly (genuine) folks running the show. Loved my sweet spotless room with the gorgeous wood floors. The entire hotel was amazing (!) ~ but in my book was truly special with the addition of the people who work there. Food was delicious at both the rooftop and the cafe. Fireplaces so very welcoming. Can't wait to stay again. THANK YOU for being beautiful, comforting, calming AND kind. (And Kai, thanks for the great service). Cheers!

Yelp
Great little place in the downtown area of Redmond. Perfect walking distance to local restaurants and cafes. Despite the COVID madness, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I booked through a 3rd party who overbooked the type of room I wanted, and they went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. If you stay, get drinks on the roof... You're welcome!

Yelp
I'm so glad I found this hotel! It's an old hotel that's been restored which I love. They give each person a $6 credit per day to use in the cafe. Speaking of the cafe! There vegan avocado toast was literally the best I ever had (so many yummy locally grown veggies on it). They also have a roof top bar where they have a little garden. So cute. To top it all off, everyone who purchases a room some of your money goes to planting a tree. There are a lot of fires happening right now so that really warms my heart. Warm staff! Great hospitality!

Yelp
This place is delightful. When we checked in, Dalles gave us a brief run down of the history of the hotel and its amenities. The building is over a hundred years old, but freshly remodeled. It is clean, bright, and modern. The bed is comfortable and the small bathroom is quite spa-like. I suspect that, as a last minute reservation, we got the smallest room, but it was more than adequate. We may be up this way again soon and I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Pros : Very cute decor. The lobby is so cute with the sofas and fireplace. Plenty of free public parking around within a block. I love the little ambient sleep sound machine they have in the room. Cons : Loud squeaky elevator constantly waking me up.. Staff isn't super friendly.. Checking in was confusing and it seemed like it was an inconvenience to help me get settled in. Rooms are small. No microwave or way to make food. ac is loud and windows look directly into other rooms, so they have to remain closed.. which is unfortunate. ac is very loud. Television remote didn't work.. I could turn it on.. but none of the buttons worked.. I'm wondering if there is a second remote missing? For the price.. I would have hoped for a breakfast... they said since I booked online I wasn't offered anything beyond drip coffee... Overall I won't come back and would recommend going somewhere else. You can get a lot more for the price somewhere else. I rarely treat myself to a hotel and was really excited to drive to Redmond to stay at this hotel. So disappointing.

Yelp
Excellent service. Excellent accommodations. Central Redmond location. Lots of areas to sit and work or just read and chill. Rooftop is great spot. Business center with conference room and easily accessible printers. Strong recommendation.

Yelp
I had zero expectations and was positively blown away. What a cool and unique place in little Redmond. Surrounded by several excellent coffee shops, cute shopping and restaurants, this hotel is a must if you want something central to Smith Rocks and Bend. This place is a breath of fresh air, as its not like your average hotel. It's very clean, spacious, airy, and very relaxing (it reminded me of the eco resorts in Tulum, Mexico) I did not want to leave. The rooftop bar is also a must see especially at sunset (views of all the mountains). I'm a bit of a hotel snob and this place knocked it out of the park.

Yelp
Cutest hotel ever! Stayed one night for a work trip and was blown away with my experience. Not only is it newly renovated and perfectly styled, the staff went above and beyond and I appreciated that. From the complementary beverage at check in, to the rooftop breakfast (included) every detail was top notch and I can't wait to return. The location is 10/10 - tons of great restaurants and shops walking distance.

Yelp
Wow, I was so pleasantly surprised that this hotel was phenomenal in every way. To start with the staff - they are fantastic. Customer service is off the charts. When you check in you are greeted with a friendly face and a glass of wine or beer. The entire space is very large with super comfy rooms. There is a peloton and yoga studio. A cafe attached to the hotel, makes it very convenient to grab lunch or dinner. I can't say enough about this fabulous new addition to Redmond. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to family who are visiting in the area.

Yelp
OH MY STARS!!!! **BEST HOTEL EVER** Okay, after a month on the road my, best two best friends (1 human 1 pup) and I came here before she (human) had to fly out and Oh My Word this place is MARVELOUS!! If you have a Doggo there is good news and meh news. The meh news is there is a $50 pet fee, the good news is that comes with (all for you to keep) a dog bed, a sack, a dog bowl, doggy bags and dispenser, cool toy, and treats!! I mean C'mon!!! So worth it. Then for the beer fans you get a COMPLIMENTARY beer at Check-in. What's more you ask?? Rooftop bar/garden, Local lil shoppery/coffee shop/cafe and FUN and INNOVATIVE conman spaces and private meeting room (and a gym!) on floors 1 and 4 for guests. The rooms are just marvelous, tidy to perfection and just a lovely fung shui. There is a cute lil yoga mat and Butt pillow for the yogies and adorable little details everywhere (like the soap dispensers I the shower) To all my wooks, corps kids, and travelers... by February of this year (2020) the hostel here will be open!! Also, have no fear you pet allergic humans!! All rooms undergo a specialized cleaning process . Also, did I mention they use all environmentally friendly products and source locally for everything they can? Soy mattresses and cardboard+sugarcane water bottles fill the room. For those with soy allergies, I have a solid soy allergy and have felt no effect from the mattress!! Ugh I just live it here. Please, you have to come here.

Yelp
We stayed at this SCP hotel in Redmond after staying at their facility in Depoe Bay. This is a renovated hotel in the old town section of Redmond. Great location & near by many restaurants and food truck pods. The big issue is that the hotel is old and it is very noisy - both outside noise as well as inside noise from rooms next door or top of yours. We had just a horrific noise problem with someone in the room on top of us walking around and the floor creaking as they moved around the room - until 2 in the AM! We mentioned at check out and the staff reduced the price of the night to 1/2 which is a good, professional gesture. That action gained them an extra star. There is really no other option if you plan to stay in the old section of the city.

Yelp
Amazing! If I felt that one word would relay to every reader the true beauty of this establishment, I would simply leave it at that. It was phenomenal, the room was eclectic and sweet, every detail was clearly well thought out and each item placed just so.... perfectly! The staff are one of a kind, attentive and service oriented - with sincerity. I was staying for business during COVID-19 and the amenities were closed per government order, yet I didn't feel at all cheated. They were exceptional, went above and beyond!!! You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Beautifully dressed and well appointed. I will be back, and back, and back!!!! Note that pictures on website are authentic and you get what you see and more!!!!!
