Me and my two elementary aged boys just got back from Block Island - we love staying at the Sea Breeze Inn. We’ve stayed in the same room a few years in a row. It feels like a home away from home. The owner and all of the employees are so welcoming and make you feel like family. Robyn is so warm and delightful—always offering a helping hand. The breakfast delivered to the room has to be THE BEST on the island; all made from scratch, such a huge treat! Coffee is french press perfection. They have always been gracious in making adjustments for the boys too which I am so grateful for. The cleaning lady Reina is so sweet and accommodating to your schedule. There is an outdoor shower which helps keep sand out of the room after being at the beach all day. The location has a beautiful view of the ocean and garden and in the evenings you can hear the live entertainment from the Spring House on a very low/enjoyable level. Block Island and Sea Breeze Inn has such a special place in all of our hearts.

What a lovely little inn. Block Island is wonderful to begin with and this inn is terrific for a weekend getaway. The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and with bedding to write home about - pretty and so soft. Breakfast delivered to your room each morning is top restaurant quality, not just a muffin and includes real french press coffee with real cream and fresh OJ. Great loungers in the back look out over a sweet pond and the ocean. The hosts are super friendly and greet you with hibiscus iced tea and a big smile. Altogether a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

You will not find a more peaceful, relaxing, clean, and inviting place to stay on Block Island! The Sea Breeze is like no other! Robyn and staff were exceptional in every way. From communication to check-in to daily breakfast delivery to our door each morning. The homemade breakfasts were outstanding. There is not one thing I would change about our stay at Sea Breeze except to make it longer :) We are already planning to go back again!

We’ve stayed at the Sea Breeze Inn two years in a row and will absolutely be back. Room 6 is our favorite - simple, private, and perfect for a couple’s extended weekend. No TV, no Wi-Fi, just fresh air, quiet, and breakfast (great OJ!) delivered to the door.||The location is peaceful yet walkable to the ferry, Aldo’s (my partner is a glutton for their bakery items), and Odd Fellows (I love their Hammerhead Detox smoothie). This year, we rented a moped and explored more of the island - Rodman’s Hollow, Clayhead Maze, Mansion Beach, and more we didn't see last year. Sea Breeze was the perfect place to relax between adventures, especially by the salt pond.||Staying here really reminds us of vacations before constant connectivity. It’s a true escape - restful, genuine, and grounded in the natural beauty of the island. If you’re looking for a simple, relaxing getaway that encourages you to slow down and soak it all in, I can’t recommend Sea Breeze Inn enough.

We have been repeat guest of Sea Breeze for almost 10 years- The staff are more than accommodating, professional - they are happy in their positions and that shows in every aspect of their daily work at Sea Breeze- rooms are freshly cleaned, with cheery feel- what’s more is the setting. Overlooking the Atlantic- you can see its natural beauty enhanced with touches of nature surrounded by wild flower gardens. Wake to the gently knock of breakfast basket delivered to your door- prepared by a talented chef- each morning a new freshly cook delight! This property is a pure compliment to its lovely owner, in every aspect.

A total gem of a location matched equally by the service. Not only is it a very charming and picturesque place with spectacular views, Robyn is the friendliest and most welcoming host ever. She is concentrated positive energy. The breakfasts prepared by Chef Dave are unbeatable - a foodie’s delight. They are a great team and will put you at ease and into vacation mode immediately. Would definitely recommend.

Last August we were on Block Island for a wedding. The island was at its crazy fun busiest, which made it really wonderful to be staying at the Sea Breeze. The place is a quiet oasis, just a short walk up the hill from the ferry - so close to town and the beaches. We loved being able to loll outside on the lawn on Adirondack chairs. And we loved finding breakfast outside our door in a picnic basket each morning. Plus, Robyn, the manager, was a delight, and so helpful - like when we needed a taxi to get us to the wedding on time!

We stay at the Sea Breeze every few years when we visit Block Island and the experience seems to get better each time. It's a wonderful feeling to disconnect, slow down, and just take in the beauty of the surroundings. If you need to remain connected to Wi-Fi and have entertainment options at your hotel, this is not the place for you. I don't know that the establishment is necessarily adults-only, but I don't recall ever seeing kids here. Regardless, I wouldn't recommend it for kids - they would be bored silly.||We stayed in a room with an ocean view and it was beyond my expectations. The room was freshly and tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed and separate living area that had a sofa bed. It could have slept four if needed, but it was perfect for a couple. The antique furniture was a nice touch. Housekeeping was impeccable. The best part was that we didn't even have to get out of bed to see the beautiful sunrise each day.||The staff are wonderful. Robyn has a smile that could light up a room. She was very helpful for every small request and to answer the questions we had. All the staff really seem to enjoy what they do. We loved the breakfast baskets they brought to our room each morning. As good or better than we could probably find in town in the morning, and we didn't need to wait in line.||The location of the Sea Breeze is perfect for us. We don't bring a car when visiting the island and the location is a short walk from town. Everywhere else we want to visit is accessible with our bikes. You can hear the entertainment going on at the Spring House next door, which is kind of fun. We could have walked over to join the party, but were fine just listening in from our lawn chairs, enjoying the same view they have next door. The entertainment stops at around 9pm, so it didn't keep us up at night.||We had a wonderful time and we're already thinking about the next time we will visit.

Yelp
This place is an absolute gem! I will give you the top three reasons why it's a gem-although there are many other "perks" which I will try to touch upon. First off, there was "Robyn"- I'd heard previous reviews , but honestly; until you meet her, you just have no idea how special this woman is!! When I say, she's a ray of sun shine-I mean it. She exudes positivity, kindness, graciousness!! She greeted us immediately, and gave us a brief orientation. Offered us lemon infused water, showed us where we can grab fluffy beach towels,, etc. gave us a tour of the grounds and incredible views. Then she showed us our room. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area-and made some wonderful dining recommendations. Our room was very cute. It has a country cottage appeal-bedding was high quality, as were the bath towels and toiletries. Our bed was so comfortable with the best pillows I've ever slept on. Bath robes were also provided, which was also such a nice touch. Our daily breakfast delivery was very special. I loved all of it-there was such an attention to detail-like a ramekin of Maldon salt flakes to add to the tomatoes on my lox and cream cheese bagel. Orange juice and coffee press every morning, and always a well balanced breakfasts. Eating off of hand crafted pottery made the meals even more appealing. I loved all those special touches. Any time we'd see Robyn in passing, she would always greet us with her beautiful smile and wonderful energy. She is such an asset to sea breeze. I'm sure the proprietors must know what an absolute gem they have in Robyn. Our room was close to the main road-so we did have to deal with a bit of street noise, however, it was also ticked all the way in back, which felt more private than some of the other cottages.

Yelp
The Sea Breeze is a gem. Arrived on Monday 5/27 in the early afternoon looking forward to some rest and relaxation after working a long weekend. Our departure date was Wednesday morning, 5/29. My wife and I were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Robyn, the assistant manager. This woman is really an "asset" to the owners of the Sea Breeze, as she is knowledgeable of activities on the Island, dining, etc., warm & welcoming. After speaking with her, we learned her boyfriend is the property chef, another "asset" to the Sea Breeze owners. I could go on-and-on about the breakfast delivery in a basket, prepared by Robyn's boyfriend, but all I will say is, we've never had anything like it anywhere before. Delicious. Amazing. A great start to our morning. The property is located within walking distance of dining & shopping. Definitely a plus for us, as we didn't have a car with us. The rooms were amazing, extremely clean & cozy. Here is the only downside to staying at the Sea Breeze property: The walls are extremely thin. After being able to gain entry to our room, I laid down to nap for a little bit to catch up on some rest after my long work weekend, at 5:30 p.m., and the couple adjoining our room were "enjoying" each other immensely for quite a while. We stepped out for a bit as this was a bit uncomfortable. This happened multiple times a day (4 during the day time that we counted on Tuesday where we had to leave our room and sit outside, go for a walk, leave our room). We were awoken by her prolonged moaning (which sounded like they were basically in our room) at 6:00 a.m. the following morning, and then the next morning. Bed banging against a wall. So uncomfortable. We basically were only there one full day (Tuesday) where most of their "enjoying" each other occurred, as we went back-and-forth to our room until they finished, only until it started up again. If we were there for a longer stay, I suppose we would have asked for another room eventually, which would have only been a possibility since it was a week day vs. a weekend when they would most likely be completely booked. We did notice our bed frame was a few feet from their adjoining wall, so I imagine theirs was on their end too wherever it was in their room, but it did sound as if it was banging against a wall in their room, it was that loud. I imagine this was probably rare. If it weren't for the constant moaning, bed banging, grunting, we would have had some rest and relaxation, but really came home feeling tired and in need of some sleep. Overall, we recommend Sea Breeze, but keep in mind, if you can hear them, they can hear you as well. The quarters are close. In any event, the Sea Breeze is a lovely, well kept property with great views of the Island Louie & Tonia Speringo

Yelp
I've been vacationing on Block Island for decades and have stayed at many house rentals and inns including the Sea Breeze. It's my favorite because it's genuinely charming and unaffected. And the view. We were there for 6 nights in July 2020. When we were considering going I called to them to see what it's like out there re: covid. The long-time owner, Andrea, had me at ease assuring me that staff were masked at all times (they were) and that the inn implemented all sorts of state guidelines. I appreciate that they take it seriously. I'm glad we decided to go. Even if the inn were full, it's not a large inn and there's lots of space and many outdoor chairs so you never really get close to other people. 3 of us used the 3 room suite - rooms 1, 2, and 3 with a kitchenette and sitting room with a table. It was clean and we were comfortable in every way. I learned that the cut flowers on the table are from their own flower garden. Breakfasts were a highlight brought to us in country baskets. Each of the 6 mornings it was different. Their breakfasts are restaurant quality now. I remember years ago, I think, it was more casual. The coffee was strong and fresh in a french press. We drink a lot of coffee and they didn't mind giving us more than usual. I LOVE having breakfast brough to me every day. They do accommodate dairy-free and gluten-free diets too.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed for an Autumn weekend. We have been vacationing on block island for most of the last 35 years, and have been doing these long weekends for the past 4 years. Every time we have stayed at a different inn, and the Sea Breeze has been our best experience by far. The staff were very helpful and nice, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and the location was perfect. We also loved the healthy and very well prepared breakfasts, delivered like clockwork in a basket every morning. We will be back!

Yelp
simple, serene, sublime...our two week stay at the seabreeze was an idyllic get away. no bells and whistles, just genuine charm and warm hospitality, perched on the most divine spot in all of block island. we stayed in a few different rooms at seabreeze but enjoyed the upper floor of the cottage with views from many windows the most. breakfast was always wonderful, and Corey and Andrea provided everything we needed. The rustic romance of the inn, and block island, was very unique...quiet peaceful days that felt far removed from the chaos of the world...and I look forward to making this a regular visit.

Yelp
Not sure I could say enough good things about this place. It was a 5 minute bike ride from the ferry (and town) and situated right across from The Spring House. Jen met us upon arrival and escorted us all into our rooms. She was extremely helpful and courteous. My room had a shared bathroom (we chose that room). We had a gorgeous ocean view from our room and it was larger than other places I have stayed on the island. Breakfast/coffee is delivered in a basket to your door every morning and it was delicious (and included fresh fruit and warm scones/bagels). The beds were so comfortable and the ocean breeze was fabulous. The price is extremely reasonable for a weekend in July. We will be reserving a room here for our annual trip to Block Island next year for sure.

Yelp
Sea Breeze Inn on Block Island is my favorite spot to stay over when on the island. It's off the main street area, but close enough to walk to and from on your daily adventures. The service is wonderful and very helpful, friendly, and warm. The price is very reasonable. My friend and I were instantly greeted when we walked on property and got help with our bags and beach chairs. The gardens are very pretty and the backyard is a great place to unwind. It is one of the most serene places I've ever been to. I stayed in the twin bed room in the inlet cottage with a friend on each trip. That room you share a bathroom with two other rooms. It feels very homey and inviting. The breakfast has been fresh fruit, delicious baked goods, tea, strong wonderful coffee, and juice. The shower is small and basic--but that's all you need on BI. You can also rent bikes from the Sea Breeze. The day we checked out we left the bags at the office and went to the beach, and returned to Sea Breeze sticky and sandy. We were then informed that there was an outdoor shower in the back---perfect!! This place has everything you need. I've stayed over at The Sea Breeze three times and have stayed at two other inns on BI. The other two locations I've stayed in were on the main street area -- one of the other top rated on Block Island and one of the average places to stay. I still prefer Sea Breeze, hands down. Block Island is a natural, peaceful, beautiful place where you leave frills and complications of mainland life back home. I can't wait to go back (and stay at Sea Breeze).

Yelp
They do not accept children under 5 and then feign confusion when suggested that this is an unusual policy.

Yelp
We stayed in room 6 at the Seabeeeze. The room was spacious and clean. The general manager Corey was excellent and helpful. The inn is a 5 minute walk from the port and downtown. The only downside is the hotel across the street holds a "martini night" party every Thursday. Large outside party with live music blaring past midnight. The inn is aware of the issue and usually helps accommodates guests on Thursdays nights to minimize the noise. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
Stay here two weeks ago for two nights... Sat-Mon Cost was 209 (thats with tax) for Sat and 110 for the sunday night..in the first part of may PROS -Very comfortable bed, with enough blankets/pillows -clean room, with updated bathroom -each morning you are greeted with a breakfast basket with coffee/juice fresh made pastries and fresh fruit...it doesn't seem like much when you look at it but its all tasty and gets you fueled for the day -great views and only a short walk from the main town -friendly helpful staff -nice grounds to sit and watch the sunrise (the sunset would best be seen from the other side of the island) CONS no wi-fi no actual beach but there is water access with use of two kayaks

Nathan P.

Yelp
Nice accomodations. The place has a nice artful touch. All the artwork is original. Our room had painted furniture. The bathrooms are large and clean. The view out the backyard is terrific, directly looking over the ocean to the east. Great place for watching the sunrise, you have front row seats. Gardens are beautiful. The pond below has a hammock and kayak. Pond is not big, but full of painted turtles. The staff is friendly and helpful.
