Sea Change Villas

We had the best honeymoon experience at Sea Change! The villa was right on the beach with a private pool! The breakfast platter was out of this world amazing! It rained a majority of the time we stayed unfortunately so couldn't make use of the paddleboards and kayaks! But we will definitely be back for a family holiday asap!

My family and I stayed at Sea Change Villas for a week in December and we FELL IN LOVE! We stayed in villa #8, towards the back of the property, and it was so spacious and comfortable with beautiful rooms and a gorgeous view. The kitchen was super useful and the living area quite large. My kids enjoyed playing ping pong on the bottom floor and we all made use of the free kayaks and bikes available to guests. The beach was a minute away and so calm and beautiful. The staff was so friendly and incredibly helpful. We highly recommend this private villa. It was a truly a magical and unforgettable experience we will remember forever. I miss it and can't wait to go back!!

Stayed here for Christmas with the family. There are many views from the room that one shouldn't miss out so listing all of them. Colorful skies of the dawn. |Green mountains.|Night stars.|Moons reflection on the ocean.|A river ( stream rather) joining the ocean.|The changing levels of tide was quite amazing to watch, especially when high tide would push lot more water into the fresh water stream.|And of course the ocean itself, the best way to view the ocean is from the dining table in the room. ||Flora and fauna that you can't miss so listing them. |Banana trees and papaya trees, if you haven't seen them before; which is the case with most of the kids from cities around the world then you see them all around here.|Best way to escape from mosquitos, make friends with Moko the house lizard. My kid was initially scared of Moko but after we came back she is missing him/her, they/them.|Colorful butterflies.|Waking up to rooster ringtones is the norm.|River eel in the fresh stream during low tides. |Different types of flowers. There was a flower that was yellow in the day and red in evening, quite amazing to watch it change color.|And of course the reef beings are always putting up a show in the water, one needs to just pick up the snorkel and hit the reef. ||The snorkel equipments provided by the resort were in good condition and we were confident in it. The pool in our room was also well maintained. The resort is maintained by a family and they are very helpful and kind.||We also hiked up the needle, visited night market, Saturday market, got a tattoo and went on a turtle tour. Ate at various restaurants around the island.|Organically this trip ended up with an emphasis on nature and the locals who take care of it, felt like eco tourism. |Hope Raro will stay this way for us to come back one day in future.

Seachange was exceptional. Everything we needed had been anticipated by our beautiful hosts. It’s the most magical spot. Three generations of my family enjoyed the beach (and swimming with turtles just out the front of the resort), the pool, the proximity to fun places to eat and drink and listen to music. Meitaki maata Seachange, we’re coming back as soon as possible!

The room was very clean. The unit is only 3 years old but looks brand new. Everything in the kitchen looked unused. We stayed in a beachfront unit. The view was awesome. Snorkelling right from the deck. Each unit has their own private pool.

We had a magic stay at Sea Change. The villa was clean, spacious and very well appointed. Hey!!! an espresso machine and a very comfortable bed, just don’t fall out as it’s a long way to the floor. So when not using the accessible kayaks or paddle boards to explore the lagoon, we would return at the end of the day for a swim in the private pool, a cold drink on the lounger or just relax in the cooling breeze on the front deck looking over the lagoon while the sun went down, or not, our stay was varied so alternatively a dip in the pool while it rained can be just as enjoyable. We found Sea Change to be well located, private, quiet and very relaxing with excellent communication by staff, from initial enquiry to check out, resulting in an effortless holiday. Thanks guys, your personal touch adds to the experience.

Wonderful accommodation, stayed in Lagoon view 2 bedroom villas with pool. 2nd bedroom is fully seperate with its own ensuite which was great for the teenagers. Really helpful to have lovely breakfast provisions (eggs, bread,milk, cereal) to get us started. The bikes, kayaks, paddle boards as part of the accommodation was used by the teenagers lots.|Responsive team with any request, bookings and support. Would recommend.

We loved the location - the south side of the island is the quietest and we think the best side. The accommodation was excellent albeit we had two days of torrential rain, so the pool was hardly used. The complementary breakfast offered a decent starter which we added to with some local shopping. We tended to walk to restaurants - two are certainly doable and the clockwise/ anti-clockwise buses can easily take you further at little cost $5. Our only disappointment was that we would have loved to try out the bikes - a mix of mountain and normal bikes (which are free to use) as well as electric bikes which are chargeable. All appeared to be of good to excellent quality, but none small enough for my wife - who is about 5 ft. It would have been nice to have at least some bikes for the smaller stature client - one frame doesn’t fit all in this case! Also given the cost of the villas and the relative isolation of the same, we think that it would be a nice gesture to offer free electric bikes (in this modern age) to allow more independent mobility around the island. Such a gesture must be worth the small(?) cost involved……we would be interested to get some feed back from the owners on this point.
