Sea Cliff Hotel Ltd Ross Craig, long bay

It was a really great stay and I would come again. Clean, well kept, quaint, and the food was great. I anticipated breakfast every morning. I love that they changed the towels every morning during our 3 night stay. If you don't like rustic finishes this place isn't for you. The only complaint I have is that, at times, the water served during breakfast had a strong smell of chlorine or bleach. I could even detect it in my tea. I noticed that the water sold at the resort is labeled "Sea Cliff Purified Water," and I would expect a similar quality when dining.

Our experience at Sea Cliff was more than exceptional! From the moment we arrived, Terrance checked us in and made sure we had a hot meal after our long drive from Montego Bay. We were given a room upgrade for the first few nights in the Sea La Vie suite, which sits right on the cliff and was absolutely stunning. There was an outside jacuzzi and shower, making you feel like you're floating over the ocean. However every single room on the property is gorgeous, airy, and spacious; specifically designed to feel like a unique slice paradise in their very own Garden of Eden. The views of the property are breathtaking from any direction, from the ocean, to the trees and vegetation, the walk down the side of the cliffs, and the refreshing salt water pool. Everything at Sea Cliff feels like natural luxury with the rustic charm of a quiet untouched beach town. We stayed for 3 weeks and were fortunate enough to meet many of the staff, who all are committed to providing an exceptional stay for their guests. The restaurant is also so beautiful, equipped with it's own small library and delicious complimentary breakfast for guests every single day. Many people come through the restaurant to dine and you can see they are taken away by the beauty of the grounds, the exemplary service, and the incredible meals. Waking up to a cup of tea on our balcony hammock overlooking the ocean crashing into the cliffs each day is something you cannot describe, you must experience. I appreciate each person there who made us feel at-home during our stay. From Mr. Arrol, the genius architect and mastermind behind the property, to his son Brett, our beloved Angie, Terrance, Monique, Brittany, Rose, Tiffany, Joseph, Juice Box, and the lovely housekeepers and groundskeepers, each member of their team is dedicated to the success and vision of this gem as a leading resort destination in Portland. I have no doubt that it will become all that they imagine and more because it is already so special and beautiful! If you're thinking of booking, don't wait--do it! Thank you Sea Cliff Hotel!! The staff were absolutely great. We were able to sign in right away and get settled without any issues. In my family a few of us are not meat eaters the manager made sure every meal that was served that there was a plant base options for my family and I. It was beyond and thoughtful and lovely. The issue I had though were the rooms while the rooms are nice there is little to no lighting. I hope they are able to place some more lighting in the rooms. Also possibly a pathway that is just straight. The terrain made it a little difficult to walk for a few of my family members. While I understand this is a gateway entertainment such as tv's in all rooms or even something small as a gathering that guest could participate in could be nice. Overall okay stay. Staff made the trip memorable. Thank you for everything.

This place is an ABSOLUTE gem!!! My husband and I decided to go here for Our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint!!!! We arrived in the night and the check in process was quick and smooth. They let us know ahead of time when the kitchen would be closed in case we wanted to have a meal ready and prepared upon our arrival. The cost includes a delicious breakfast and all the staff is helpful and friendly. But we have to talk about the view!!! Sea Cliff is on a small cliff overlooking the sea. It is so close that you can hear the sound of the waves crashing and you can smell the salt water. It was so refreshing, soothing and relaxing!!! We want to give a special shout out to Terrence who went and above and beyond to make sure our time there was special. It’s been a while since we have received such a personal touch while staying at a hotel. We highly recommend this hotel.

Had an amazing weekend, the view was spectacular. We stayed in the sea escape room, only downside was the road but it was worth it when we reached. Definitely going back. The food 😋 delicious

This was my first time staying at this property and I was very excited to stay here after booking my reservation but upon arrival I was disappointed in many ways. I do want to start of by mentioning the good things such as the great customer service. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food that I had during my 3 day stay was delicious and the views from the balcony were beautiful. I love how peaceful my stay was but my stay could have been way better. The photos on the website is not updated. These photos are several years old. It is very misleading for a company to even still have these photos up knowing that their rooms, pool, and other areas of the property do not reflect what it currently looks like today in 2024. It is actually disrespectful and clearly false advertising. I could not enjoy the pool because it was so dirty and even the area around the pool looked like it haven't been cleaned in months. It ruined my vibe and I immediately went back to my room. Many Guest look forward to going to the pool when staying at a resort and the hotel had the audacity for it to look dirty and not be maintained. I came to this resort to enjoy the amenities but there are hardly any. The rooms are very outdated and when I say outdated I'm not talking about the rustic natural vibes that is has, I'm talking about obvious things that need to be fixed but ofcourse the staff is already aware of all these things and that's why they are choosing to use photos of the property from when it first opened. I recently read comments/reviews of previous customers mentioning similar things and I also read the response from the staff and I was so shocked to see how rude, sarcastic, and dismissive the hotel is when they reply to customers that gave them constructive criticism. I wouldn't be surprised if I get the same comment under my review even when my review is clearly constructive critism to allow customers to know what they are getting into and I also think it's important for the hotel to take in consideration to help their business thrive and make customers return. I been to Jamaica 7 different times this year and stayed at over 10 different properties on the island and I returned back to many but this place I will not return or recommend until there is improvement in many areas.

The scenic view was simply awesome! The room that I stayed (Sea Dream) was just wonderful! To sit and have breakfast and to look out in,the ocean was just awesome. The food is too little though.

This place is the worst i have experience since traveling back to Jamaica concrete floors zinc walls in the bathroom and the front patio bathroom is outdated. Oh it's $10 for a wash cloth of it get stained by your makeup, the brrakfast was good and the kitchen staff excellent. Oh they stole my airbus. I would never reccomend anyone to this place. I will not tell anyone who wants to go there to not go. To each there own.
