We stayed here for one night in October while in the area for a concert in Amagansett. We booked online ahead of the visit and communication leading up to our arrival was clear and concise. We were able to check in digitally and room information was provided electronically. The front office closed at a specific time and we arrived after that so having the information ahead of time was extremely useful. We were on the second floor of a building facing the ocean. There is no elevator that we saw but we were fine walking up the steps. The room was clean and cozy. There was a kitchenette with cooking utensils and such which we didn’t use since we were only there over night but this would be nice if staying for a longer time. Bring your own coffee. There is a coffee maker and filters but you supply your own coffee or go down the road to Goldbergs like we did. The bathroom was small but it was fine for the two of us. The front door leads into the bedroom and the living area is on the backside with the balcony and ocean view. The only thing I would say about the bedroom was there is a mini blind on the door window (see my picture) which will allow light in so if you plan on sleeping in -which why would you at the beach - you may want to try to cover up that window to lessen the morning light. There weren’t a lot of easily accessible outlets either so if you have a c-pap and a fan - you may need to get creative or do without a lamp. There was plenty of parking although we didn’t park right outside the room but we were close. We had an enjoyable time.

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. We were in the corner of Upper Rapallo, Unit 37. Oceanfront, amazing view. If you want to see the ocean, make sure you get something on the second floor. You'll see nothing but dunes from the first. The condo itself was adorable, but perhaps a little too cozy. The place was a little small for the amount of furniture. It was perfect for two, but I can't imagine staying with more people. I don't even know where I'd put the other furniture if the pull-out sofabed was needed. It did have a lovely beach theme, the place was spotless and in great shape. We'd stay in that unit again in a heartbeat. The grounds outside were nice, and it was an easy walk to the beach- there are nice walkways to use so you're not climbing over sand. Some areas might be challenging for those with mobility issues. There are also no elevators. We loved that there were people on site to assist during the day as well as daily housekeeping (we personally only had them come in twice). We also had no problem checking in late even though the office was closed. Great experience overall.

I had a second floor unit with a view of the ocean. It was great with just a few steps from the beach. I went in early October so it was not crowded and quiet. It was still warm enough to spend the day on the beach but wouldn’t recommend trying to swim. The bathroom was small and no real place in the bedroom to keep your luggage because the bedroom was tiny as well but other than that the bed was comfortable and the unit had a functional kitchen. You are less than a ten minute drive to Mountalk or East Hampton. Good location. Would stay here again.

The beds were quite soft; we were hoping for a firmer option. We had also requested a baby cot, but it wasn’t provided when we arrived. Make sure to book a ground-floor room, as carrying luggage up the stairs can be quite inconvenient. We visited during the winter season and absolutely loved the weather conditions — that was one of the highlights of our stay.

Ok. Location and beach view are AMAZING! The beach is literally a few feet away from room 34. The room is smaller than it looks in photos and the BATHROOM IS A DISASTER! Small enough to brush your teeth while you use the toilet and NO HOOKS to hang your towels. Room was clean, bed was queen not the advertised king. Overall, it's a nice hotel, however, visit off-season to avoid the $600+ daily rates.

Even though this property is marketed as a resort, it feels more like a motel with a sea-facing balcony. At $500 a night, I expected far more. While the room had a kitchen, it lacked even the basics such as coffee powder or tea bags—amenities that are often provided even in budget motels. The AC unit leaked water into the bedroom, the spring bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were subpar. The bathroom, while clean, was outdated and built with low-quality materials. On the plus side, the overall cleanliness was good. However, the value for money is simply not there, and calling this a “resort” is misleading—it’s essentially a motel or inn with a nice view.

Google
The cost to stay was quite expensive. It was a studio room. Our stay was for 3 nights and we paid over $500 each night. The room was cluttered with stuff. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. It was supposed to be water view. We could hear the water but not see it because we were located on the 1st floor and there were large overgrown bushes in front of our deck area. The website states they have an indoor pool, but it’s an outdoor heated pool that was kept at 80 degrees. There’s no food at this supposed resort, no spa treatments. It’s not a resort and is more like a motel. It was very quiet though and the staff were cordial. Check in clerk not so friendly. I would not go back there.

Google
The worst sleeping experience I have ever had. Was promised a new renovated room and was given a room with 20 year old carpet that smells like mildew, mold in the showers, rusted patio chairs to sit on, and the best one is the broken queen pull out couch that you cannot sit on let alone sleep on. Had to go buy my own air mattress and deliver it to the hotel to use for the nights we were there. Asked to switch rooms was told no, front desk didn’t care at all about the condition of the room or that we had to buy an air mattress. When we told them they asked if they’d like to send someone up to show up how to use the bed like we’re dumb and have never used a pull out sofa. The only positive I could say was looking at the water but couldn’t even sit outside to enjoy it because of the rusted chairs. Would not recommend booking this hotel so many better options around.

Yelp
Upgrading to 4.5 stars but will round to 5 since yelp still doesn't allow half star reviews. Rooms all renovated. Wifi notably better this year. One service issue - called and was resolved quicker than I expected. Nice pool, beautiful beach and several barbecue/picnic areas. You can fill bottles with filtered water in the office. Workers generally helpful, especially those working at the beach. Online check in/out process was smooth. How to get to 5 stars: include a broom and pail in room as any trip to beach results in sand. Add hooks on bathroom wall to help dry used towels. Vending machine was empty. No lifeguards working, though there seems to be a shortage everywhere.

Yelp
Everything was perfect! Beautiful, roomy two floor apartment, modern kitchen, comfortable beds, every convenience. Private beach had chairs, umbrellas, towels. Pool was so great we couldn't get the kids to leave. Service was excellent. This is a well located, well run resort.

Yelp
Location is fantastic! Couldn't ask for nicer beach. We were in Unit 21, a first floor studio with a queen bed, pull out sofa and a room with a pull down Murphy bed. Corner location. Outdoor patio was nice. Yes, dunes will block view of water but it's a very short walk to beach. Friend slept in Murphy bed and said wasn't comfy. I had no trouble sleeping but never opened pull out sofa. Due to covid, it's contactless check in and everything else is done through text. No housekeeping in room. They will leave extra towels, new linens etc outside your door upon request. All dishes and kitchenware supplied but they weren't the cleanest and had to wash before using. No lifeguard at pool and towels ran out and never resupplied. But heated pool was nice. The beach was clean and sand was easy on the feet. You can reserve chairs and umbrellas on the beach or just grab as they weren't crowded. Located just a few minutes from Montauk and there are a few restaurants right up the road. If you check in before 5pm, they won't tell you how long until your room is ready, they will text you. The wifi is very spotty and I couldn't even make or receive calls from our unit. But being on vacation, we really were only in room to sleep. Not a luxury resort but the lack of crowds and beach made it a solid choice.

Yelp
The location of the resort is perfect for what we were looking for. For the price, i was disappointed in the accommodations. We stayed in unit 37, which was advertised as refurbished. If this is refurbished I cannot imagine what it looked like prior. But the bed was comfortable and the view was wonderful. Perfect location with beautiful quiet ocean view. They provide beach chairs and towels which is wonderfully convenient. The staff was very friendly and fresh towels were provided everyday even if there was not room service. On the fence about staying again based mainly on the price for what you get, but we did have a lovely vacation.

Yelp
The carpets in the rooms were filthy and smelly . The storage that has extra sheets and towels was filthy . You can get much better hotels in the area with in the same price range !

Yelp
My niece rented this place and 4 of us shared a one-bedroom since theres a sofa bed. We were here for a couple of nights but the best part is that our front yard was the beach. This was reflective of why our floors were not carpeted. The kitchenette was good for our morning coffee or before bed tea. We played a board game on the small table. There was wifi for catching up on episodes of This is Us and posting on IG and FB. But most relaxing was falling to sleep to the sound of the ocean.

Yelp
Beautiful ocean front resort minutes from Montauk. Our room was beautiful and clean with all the comforts of home. I recommend requesting a second floor when you stay as the dunes will block your view of the ocean on the first floor in certain rooms.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience this past week. San Remo ocean front first floor. Many thanks to Eric front desk who was polite, friendly and knowledgeable and walked me through the process. It is a gamble, but we requested a renovated suite and we were lucky to get it. We were also lucky no one was on the second floor so didnt have much noise. The room, bathroom, kitchenette were all clean, comfortable and good quality. Perfectly stocked with cooking equipment, cups, plates, towels, toiletries, iron, coffee machine. Oceanfront could not be beat. Just rolled out of bed in the morning, had coffee looking at the ocean and stepped off to the beach. Great value and one of the most relaxing vacations we have had.

Yelp
I cancelled a reservation and I never hear back from the. I spoke to woman on the premises but she never returned my call. Now I don't have reservation or property who said I have 1 year to reschedule because I can't walk due to need for surgery, ghosting me.

Yelp
Overall the room is decent. Absolutely no safety lights at night to help to navigate the property. Bring a flashlight and make sure your wives have pepper spray. You'll be very lucky if there's anyone at the front desk or if anyone answers the phone. So hopefully you never have an emergency. This place is so lazy that when checking in late, instead of having someone at the front desk to greet you and welcome you, they put your name on an envelope and put your room info (door code and all) inside and stick it in a glass case outside the office where any passerby can open it up and have all your info. Probably the most unsafe and unprofessional establishment I've ever experienced. So ladies Do Not Stay Here alone. Power frequently goes out as well. So make sure you know how to pop the power back on with the serket breaker

Yelp
This is a nice size quiet resort. For me it is very very expensive, $660 for the night. It is crazy but for those who have money it is just one of the costs of your life. Between Village of Amagansett and Village of Montauk. Can't beat "on the water" and the beautiful private beach.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to stay when headed to the east end of Long Island. This family friendly resort has much to offer, with a great location and easy access to Montauk, Amagansett and East Hampton. The service from the front desk is always done with a smile. Harold the property manager goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy your stay. After checking out, housekeeping found a clothing item in the room we had recently left. Harold promptly called to let us know they found something we'd left behind. While this is what one would expect to occur in our experience it is rare, so kudos to Harold and the Sea Crest Housekeeping staff. Housekeeping keeps the rooms tidy and accommodates requests for extra towels when they are able. The pool is heated and the pool deck kept clean. The beach is also pristine and never crowded. Umbrellas, towels and lounge chairs are provided and placed where you'd like. The beach is peaceful and relaxing even at its most crowded.

Yelp
Not the best room we had it's a little run down wouldn't recommend to anyone location is great . Our view ok booked ocean view had bottom floor so saw the sand dunes really . I thought being that's its low season they would give a great room to want you to come back our room was 58 rust on fridge stove and dishwasher . Bed not comfortable at all . Very disappointed

Yelp
If you don't mind that the place is a bit outside of town and that shopping etc would require a 10 minute drive, then this is what you want. Recently renovated, nice staff, plenty of amenities, and a fantastic shoreline. I figure that with ocean weather and beach traffic it might be hard to keep rooms looking nice, but these were really impressive. Our room came with a kitchenette, so eating was easy. We just hit the grocery store on the way into town and loaded up. Montauk is maybe 10-15 min away, and Amagansett a little less than that. The prices climb in peak season, but check it out on the edges. It was really nice in June.

Yelp
Staying in the Hamptons is not cheap...not cheap at all! Sea Crest on the Ocean was one of the more reasonable places - $175/night during summer. You def should rent a car as the inn is a bit of a drive to amagansett and/or montauk. Rooms were decent with bedroom, living room and kitchenette. Nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about either.

Yelp
Great place! Clean and friendly !! Heated pool and outdoor grilling space if weather is inclined. I would definitely recommend getting the ocean front room and spend the money to get the 2nd floor rooms, everything is updated and just a more modern feel. Perfect for a girls weekend or a couples retreat. We stayed in an upper 1 bedroom ocean view and then a lower 1 bedroom ocean view, as I said I recommend the upper over the lower it is worth the extra money. Our rooms both had working range, oven, refrigerator with freezer, and utensils. You need to bring ground coffee with you!!!! They supply the coffee marker, mugs, and filters. We loved enjoying a cup of coffee on our private deck/patio and bringing a cup down to the beach to sip on, in their provided beach chairs. Beach is super close maybe a minute walk on their boardwalk. They also give you 6 pillows!!!!!

Yelp
The beds are as hard as rocks! The hardest rocks you can imagine. No darkening shades on any Windows so the sun wakes you up early. When you pay top dollar for a hotel you expect comfort and everything to work and there was several broken outlets, remotes, lightbulbs out, etc and no one available to fix anything. To top it off the manager Harold doesn't know anything about customer service and he treats his loyal guests poorly so we won't be returning. It's too bad because it's a great location but it's over priced and uncomfortable.

Tom O.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at the Sea crest. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. It is in a perfect location close enough to Montauk without having to deal with all the traffic. The beach is one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to and the staff is exceptional. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I had a reservation for a 2 night stay in August. I drove 4 hours to the motel only to learn once I arrived that my mother was taken by ambulance to the ER. I checked out shortly after without even unpacking, and drove back to the hospital (another 3 and 1/2 hours). I emailed the resort manager from the hospital to inform them that my mother was admitted for heart failure. She spent 8 days in the hospital and the resort would not refund the $1400 for the 2 night stay that never happened. They wouldn't even offer me a credit for a future 2 night stay. Terrible customer service, no compassion and overpriced---$1400 for 2 nights!!! No exceptions made for medical emergencies. DO NOT BOOK unless you can guarantee your stay won't be Interrupted for a medical emergency.

Jacqueline H.

Yelp
We stayed here for the first time this summer and it was great! I love the easy access to the beach and the room was huge and beautifully decorated and clean. The view from the balcony was not as good as we had hoped according to pictures (the room pictures also showed a newly renovated gorgeous bathroom that we did not get ) and it is a little far from town. It's definitely overpriced for the location and other things mentioned but it was very nice. The pool was not very nice either but this place has its pros and cons. Overall we did really enjoy it for its pros and it was a great room. We just wish the pool and ocean view were better, that we had the beautifully renovated bathroom shown in the photos of our room, and that it was in town. But I really liked the room a lot.

Yelp
My husband and I have stayed at the Sea Crest Resort several times over the years, our rooms were always well maintained and the king and queen size beds were comfortable. This cannot be said for room 58, this room is a poor representation of the resort. This room is obviously one of the most neglected and the last to be rented in the resort. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and had to be padded by housekeeping. When we complained to the manager he said that he had gotten complaints before about the bed. He also said that the bed was "considered" a queen size. In the room description on your website the bed is called a queen size bed, but the bed offered is to small for two adults to sleep comfortably. My husband and I have a queen and a king size bed in our home. The standard dimensions of 60 x 80 were not present in this bed, it's actually a small double bed. It was evident that the refrigerator which was rusty and dirty on the outside had not been cleaned in a while. There were no cups, glasses or silverware in the kitchen . The toaster didn't work, upon opening the refrigerator the shelf on the door fell off. We were there for 5 days and the maid never vacuumed the dirty rug in the living room. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned and prepared for guest arrival because there were 3 cans of paint and a box with a ceiling light stored in the coat closet. We complained to Karen at the front desk and had it removed by resort staff. Upon entering the room we discovered the telephone didn't work and a repair man had to be called by the manager. When we were finally able to go to the beach the attendants were so lazy I had to ask them if they were guests or if they worked there because they didn't greet us or indicate that they were the attendants. They acted as if we were disturbing their lounging under they're beach umbrellas. We actually had to ask them for chairs, umbrellas and towels. The towels in the room as well as the beach towels are dingy and old, not white and crisp. It was also very obvious that the terrace furniture had not been cleaned in ages. When we told the manager of all the issues he gave us a 10% discount which we found inadequate considering I went there with my family to celebrate my birthday and my daughter's engagement. We were extremely disappointed and underwhelmed at what The Sea Crest Resort has become. I'm afraid my family and I will never return nor will we ever recommend this resort to anyone, specifically because of its lack of consistency, quality control and false advertisement.
