Sea Fish Restaurant

We picked this place based on Google reviews & indeed was very happy with it. Crab curry (swimmer crabs) reasonable & very delicious & big pot for 3 of us! Love the flavour! Came with yummy coconut roti, coconut sambal - spicy & Dahl ! Grilled garlic prawns was v tasty too! Sautes veg was simple but v tasty. Service v good! We were the only table & was ABIT skeptical initially but realised we came early at 7pm! Then more tourist & lots of locals came at 830pm... The locals eat late. Will be back!

Quite simply the best meal in Sri Lanka so far. After a terrible lunch at Umalis earlier in the day I really wanted some good simple local food. Seafish seemed a simple restaurant but Im glad i tried it. Its as basic as it can get in terms of interiors but the food trumps everything. I ordered a seafood curry with some hoppers. The curry was rich and flavourful while the hoppers were fresh and crisp to mop up the curry. Throw in chunks of their divine onion sambol and its food coma. I was relishing it so much I even ordered a portion of their pol rotis which were served hot off the pan. Full but not content I ordered the wattalapam to end my meal on a sweet note. The dessert beats anything hands down. Soft, juicy and soaked in flavour, its the perfect end to a spicy mains. The food cost me LKR 4650 without any drinks but it was worth every penny paid. I am going again.

Had dinner as a family. Food was very good and the service of Mr Chandana was excellent. He was able to recomend dishes from the menu according to the liking of the guest. There inhouse "Roast paan" was excellent. Enjoyed the evening spent at this place.Sorry pics were not taken of the food,suddenly remembered a pic needs to be taken.

The only place that I have had the best crabs, hoppers and Roast paan so far in srilanka was at seafish restaurant!! All other food items served at seafish are very tasty too. The staff are very kind and friendly.

No frills restaurant serving fresh Lankan seafood in delightful dishes. Somewhat of a local experience but the quality, quantity and the flavors aren't compromised. Would highly recommend.

You must visit this restaurant when you are in Colombo. Everything was perfect. The restaurant manager/owner knows what real service is. From the moment you enter the restaurant until you leave everything is perfect. The food is excellent and well priced.

An amazing restaurant with authentic srilankan food . Must try seafood soup and sea fish Horsd Oeuvre. And not to miss negambo prawn curry . Also i would like to rate it 5 star for its service and special thanks to Mr Chandana who made us feel like home and catered all our needs.

Sea Fish Restaurant is a great place for fresh and delicious seafood. We have visited a few times with our family and also as a couple with my wife, and we really enjoyed it each time. The dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, with generous portions. The hoppers are superb! The staff are friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommended for seafood lovers and fans of Sri Lankan cuisine!
