Went out on our one day snapper season with Sea Love Charters. Capt. Zach and Sydney did not disappoint!! Capt. Zach put us on some HUGE snappers! Our entire boat maxed out in about 30 minutes. Then he put us on the beeliners, jacks, mangrove snappers, and even a cuda! Talk about getting it in! Thanks to the Sea Love crew! We will definitely be back! ❤️❤️❤️

Google
Had an amazing time with Sea Love Charters. The Captain and crew were so much fun to be with. So helpful with each of us. We had a group over 20, and went out on the Sea Love II, the bigger boat. They put us on them, in numerous locations. Very knowledgeable, and enjoyed the trip as much as we did. Highly recommend booking them.

Google
I have been on 2 trips with the Sea Love. I had a good time both times; the boat was well-maintained and the deckhands were attentive and helpful. However, with the boat being at capacity (the second trip, the half-day boat set to go out that day would not start so they put all those people onto the full-day boat) and 70 lines dropping in the same place, only select people actually caught fish. It felt like we paid for a long boat ride and to get our hands dirty rather than go fishing.

Google
A great way to do some saltwater fishing on a budget. I’ve done 4-5 trips now and they are always super friendly and helpful. Very clean boat and well maintained equipment. Definitely worth trying once. And for those squeamish people, they will bait your hook, remove your fish, and process it for you. Think if it as a 80 ft line (fishing pun) at the seafood counter. The only downside is they allow smoking in the boat. I really wish they would stop that.

Google
This was our first experience with a charter and the experience was AMAZING!! The whole crew was so nice and we had such a blast. We learned that Zack is the new owner and I believe he is taking this business in a great direction. Thank you for making our day!

SCUMDOG FISHING

Google
Had a great time fishing with family. The crew was excellent. My nephew caught a sand bar shark. We also caught some red snapper. Unfortunately, they were out of season and had to throw them back.

Google
We had a great time with the crew for a 8 hour trip. Not as many fish that were legal to keep as I would like, but we caught fish all day long. Mates were great, and worked hard all day, even when one of them lost a piece of finger to a trigger fish bite. Unlike many party boat type charters the boat was not cramped and everyone had plenty of room to fish.

Kim Stefanini

Google
When we boarded the captain and crew were very funny and kind. They did a safety review and we were off to the deep waters. Rods and bait provided. All different species were being pulled out of the water. The crew explained the different species and how they tasted when cooked. They were amazingly funny and helpful. It was a great day out on the water. The boat itself was clean and well taken care of. At the end of our charter we saw the crew cleaning all parts of the vessel with bleach. We will definitely be back!!

John S.

Yelp
My family and I had a blast. Even though we only caught bait fish. Others that went out with us caught 2 African Pompano. One of the ship mates even took my son under his wing and tried like heck to put him on a nice big fish, even the captain Hollywood was helping from the wheel house, but a barracuda cut his line. My dad caught a Mutton Snapper which we ate. I plan to use them again.

Zachary A.

Yelp
We booked a charter and they never showed morning of. Never answered phone calls or anything, don't waste your money.

Corey M.

Yelp
The crew was awesome. We did a burial at sea. Very pleased with accommodation. The boat was clean and on time.

Christopher E.

Yelp
I can't give a good review because our trip was canceled by the the charter company the day before our trip due to not having enough people. Luckily we found Mike Morgan, a individual fisherman who took us on an amazing trip and my son and I had a blast.

Linda L.

Yelp
They called and cancelled my trip at 6:15 PM the night before. They want you to cancel by noon the previous day to get a refund but they can cancel this late the evening before. Not weather cancel cause I get that , not enough people. $150 motel room and I drove 3 hours to be there. This is the second time they have done this. Done done done.

Lora H.

Yelp
Unfortunately the weather was a little too cold for us and we had to cancel. But I must tell you, this company was super awesome canceling and refunding our money with no problem. We appreciate how helpful they were.

James S.

Yelp
Bought 3 tickets (myself and 2 young grandsons) recently and went out in the 830a 4 hour bottom fishing trip. The check in was easy, short walk to boat and at 830am you board and find a seat. About 1 hour to first stop. Just before stopping handed out fishing rods, not great but adequate equipment. They the. Brought around small buckets of unfrozen squid for bait. Caught a nice Red Snapper 1st drop, you have to put these back in, but when I looked for a mate, was pretty loud, nobody available so I unhooked and dropped it back but it was too late as the fish floated dow. The side of the boat. My issue was the mates, it sure what their function is except to put the anchor out. Very little interaction with the passengers, I was baiting 3 hooks and the boys went through the bait and not k center did they stop by to talk to the boys or offer to bait a hook for them. There was one blond headed mate that we seen often but he was just standing around. I caught just that first snapper. One grandson caught a very small fish and the other grandson caught nothing. It was a beautiful ride back into shore.

Brett F.

Yelp
Completely unreliable. Sea Love Charters canceled on us the day of the charter within a few hours via "email" before we are scheduled to meet. They tell you they will email you a confirmation or a denial of the charter just a few hours before you are to meet. Who does this? If you are looking for a professional and dependable company Sea Love Charters is not it. They work when they feel like it and cancel last minute when they don't want to work. Just horrible business practices as people plan their whole day on reservations. To be canceled last minute? So disappointing.

Jim U.

Yelp
I booked on their night trip targeting Red Snapper and had one of the best fishing trips on a Head Boat I've ever experienced! At 71 I've been on a lot of different charters and head boats and this trip ranks up there with one of the best. The Captain and his excellent crew made sure everyone enjoyed themselves and more importantly catch fish! The crew was busy and worked their tails off taking care of everyone and deserve a nice tip from everyone who was on the boat! I caught more Red Snapper on this trip than I have collectively on other Florida boats and although you may only keep one you'll have tired arms once it's time to head back! Going to book another trip with Sea Love as soon as I can!

Alex P.

Yelp
This charter was a great day at a great price. We did a full day charter from 8am-4pm for 110$ per person which i would recommend to everyone a half day charter just isnt worth it. The crew was very kind and personable and the captain had us on fish all day. Everyone on the boat caught something and the action was non stop all day. Which cannot be said for all charters. The crew filleted everyones catches for free at the end of the trip. Overall a great day of great fishing at a affordable price.

Ruby Houri K.

Yelp
We had a great time during our full day trip with the crew! The captain and his second half were very helpful throughout the trip, giving us pointers and showing us how deep sea fishing works. A full day trip means you're boating out about 25 miles and gives you a great opportunity to see a pod of dolphin and many flying fish! We caught a red snapper and a shark. Wowie! So much fun... if this is of interest to you, I highly recommend going with this team.

Jason S.

Yelp
Very inexperienced crew. We went to one hole the entire day, on the full day and all it seemed the cpt was interested in was catching barracuda and out of season red snapper. When were started catching anything else we picked up and moved a few feet away. In my entire group all we caught to keep was 6 b-liners. People don't go on these type of charters to catch trophy's but to bring home fish. This is not the same sea love from my teen years. The cpt cutting bait and doing the cleaning was certainly the only good thing from this trip, he was definitely a bright side.

Delta N.

Yelp
We went during our honeymoon it was fun.... but i got seasick lol I just dont have any sea legs under me.... but the capt was great and so were all the guys. Definitely will go again... just have to remember some patches before I go. Husband loved it... weekend snapper season. Can't beat the price either for an all day trip. Highly recommended

Yelp
Sea Love canceled my Monday morning charter on Sunday evening, which left me no time to book with another company and I lost my only fishing day in St. Augustine. The cancellation was not weather related as it was a perfect day. At the time I was annoyed, but having read a lot more reviews I think I was lucky to have avoided this Sea Love. I would never bother booking with Sea Love again, and I later learned it's worth driving 45 to 60 min to the better charters near Daytona.

Catherine S.

Yelp
SEA LOVE II all day trip 9/03/1017 This has got to be one of the best days of my life. We came from Edisto Island S.C we have been coming here for the past 3 years we bring on average 9 family members each time, but this has to be the best one. The captain and the Crew were wonderful when you called they were there. I couldn't tell you how many times I was Hearing FISH ON,They would tell you abut the fish you caught , and tended to the ones that had to go back. You need to be ready with your camera because if the fish had to go back, they were good about making sure it went back in a timely manner. And the fish wouldn't die we caught about 30 fish we could keep. Don't know how many we threw back! These Men made sure you were having a good time. One of our Daughters wasn't feeling well and they were there to help her on the spot on her first trip. BTW thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for her this was her first time in the ocean like that! Any way It was such a good time, We went for a second day. And I have to say it was wonderful. I don't think I can find any more words except that day was awesome and better then the first day. 13 really nice fish were keepers. But we caught a lot of fish. THANK YOU We will be back! We won't wait a year just add on a couple more trips! Wish we could move around some things to go back today but wasn't abl

Tim D.

Yelp
Believe all the negative reviews. We didn't even go out because the grumpy old man taking our reservations was so rude. I guess he was upset because we woke him up from his nap. If you don't like what you're doing maybe you should do something different.

Dave H.

Yelp
This was really awesome we went yesterday with our kids, they really knew where to fish. we caught sharks, and we caught a lot of different things I really liked how the crew was very attentive to our needs like when the kids got into a tangle or just needed some help My only recommendation is that they don't have more than 40 people fishing at any given time it was about what we had and slightly crowded, but not too bad . they said that they can take as many as 60 at a time which I don't think I would enjoy very much. Maybe they have a rotation system when there are 60 but I don't think it would've been very good if there was that many people fishing. Nevertheless it was a really awesome day and I really like this company. I definitely will go back again and take many friends there.

John H.

Yelp
Had a great time on the all-day trip yesterday (4/11/2017). Luke and Bill knew where to find the fish. It was a slow day, but we caught quite a few keeper vermillion snapper, sea bass, trigger and even a black fin tuna. Someone even got a 200+ pound shark up to the boat. We will be back for more trips. Luke and Bill did a great job of adjusting bait and technique to get the fish biting. Nice job guys!

Andrea T.

Yelp
Catching up on some long overdue reviews. Just going to keep this one pretty short and simple. This was probably one of the most disappointing deep sea fishing excursions we have experienced in Florida. The majority of the time was spent in route and moving from spot to spot. It was extremely frustrating. Far too crowded. Lines tangling way too often. Didn't enjoy it very much.

Sal R.

Yelp
If you are ever in St Augustine and feel like doing some fishing, I would highly recommend Sea Love Charters as your outfitter. I was visiting my son who is serving in the Navy and wanted something fun and out of the ordinary for us to do together, I called Sea Love Charters and they were very accommodating in setting up a trip for us and very reasonably priced. All we had to do was show up with a cooler, some snacks and sandwiches and of course some beverages for us to enjoy during our day. Their crew were very helpful and knowledgeable and took care of everything for us including cleaning our catch at the end of the day. We got to see some dolphins swimming along side the boat and some sharks who at times decided to eat our catch leaving us with only the head on our line. All in all a great day of fishing and family fun leaving us with memories for a life time.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Awesome crew. Great fishing. Caught 4 spade fish between my husband and I. Brought some beers, met some great people and had an overall awesome time. Don't forget to bring your own drinks, and SUNBLOCK.

Kiely S.

Yelp
The Sealove II crew is always a good time when we come out. These guys really take the time to show you the proper way to use the equipment. They are extremely passionate about their job and you can tell they love it. We caught fish all day long! Not super crowded either which keeps you from tangling reels and keeping your line in the water. Very impressed with the time we had!! Thanks again! #fishon

Brian L.

Yelp
These guys are as good as you can get. We went this past Sunday with Captain Bill and Captain Luke for the full day charter. These guys really know how and where to fish. The whole boat was pulling fish all day! We were shocked, and SUPER STOKED, when Bill hooked a Barracuda, then handed the pole to my friend to reel it in. We wound up with a trophy fish and my friend had the best fight of his fishing life reeling that 55 pound monster in!! Both Bill and Luke were extremely friendly, personable, and helpful on the boat. Their fishing knowledge completely blew us away. I can't think of better boat or crew to go fishing with. At the end of trip the guys even shared some recipes with us for how they like to cook up all the different fish we caught that day. If you are in St Augustine, and want a great fishing charter look no further. Sea Love Charters is the only place I'll ever go back to in St. Augustine. These guys deserve more than 5 stars.

Amy L.

Yelp
The Captain of today's half day charter had a terrible attitude, making fun of anyone asking a question. One passenger was so put off by the Captain, that he quit fishing, and sat down for the remainder of the charter. While returning, the mate drug the hose to the bow, squirting us along the way, then proceeded scrubbing the boat, spraying us again. It only took him minutes, and should have been done at the dock, instead of inconveniencing us!

Bobby D.

Yelp
Great trip. Chase & Rain put us on the fish! Red snapper(not open yet), snappers, grouper, spadefish and bait, I mean Grunts. Quick turn around. See you in three weeks for R. Snapper season!

Scott F.

Yelp
This is the second time I have gone out with Sea Love Charter. The crew is very friendly and are there to help with your needs. Some times it gets busy when several people are calling " fish on". They help keep you legal with what you catch with the length and species limits. The half day trip takes you about 9-12 miles out and we tried over 3-4 different spots. I didn't catch anything worth keeping today, but will definitely return to try again.

Justin G.

Yelp
06/14/2015 8 hour trip on Sea Love II Being from North Florida the price is reasonable. My wife and I make it a point of going on fishing trips whenever we visit a new place. We routinely go on fishing trips in Destin. That is what makes this disappointing at best. We were located about 3/4 forward on the port side. We got to the first spot and caught a good number of b-linners. The mate grabbed about 4 fish from several people and put them on a stringer at the ice box. This would not be a bad idea if they could give the customer a tag to verify the number. I was told #76. Other boats have a tag they give you or a basket under the seat. My wife and I caught about 6 b-linners at the first spot before the captain moved us. Everyone was catching decent amounts of fish. My first issue came when I saw about 5 red snapper (not in season) floating behind the boat. The person next to me asked why we throw them back and not keep them because they will die anyway. I explained the law to them (also I am a deputy sheriff and work closely with FWC). I then saw the deck hands throwing these fish back in without venting them. I showed the person next to me how to vent his own fish to help with their survival. (I am getting agitated at this point in the trip). We moved spots a couple of times fishing for about 20 minutes a spot. We started catching Grey trigger fish. The mates had to consult with each other to figure out the size limit. That is like me not knowing what the price of your ticket is going to be... Mates need to know their job. I caught the biggest trigger fish of my life and gave it to the mate for stringer #76. My wife and I shared a stringer. We caught a good number of b-linners and triggers before heading back. On the way back I looked up at were the captain was and noticed a water bottle. Not your typical water. This one was filling with a yellow clear liquid... if you get my drift. Ok so maybe he couldn't go down stairs and use the Head. We get back on the dock and wait for the fish to be given out. #76... Another person walks up and takes my stringer. I told the deck hand that #76 belong to me. Obviously the number was given to 2 people. The deck hand made a phone call and said I could have some fish that were left in the box... Come to find out the mates threw fish in the box instead of putting them on stringers.. I did not pay $85 a piece to get a couple of b-linners. I wanted the fish we caught.. (Getting more agitated). After all the fish were divided out the father and son group next to us were also missing a bunch of fish and their 2 stringers. They eventually took the spare b-linners and left. I went to the main office to talk with the owner. He had a do not care attitude. He leaned back with a smile and said "all I can say is sorry". That's it? Sorry? I guess 8 years of running a charter business teaches him the ropes huh. The owners Olin Marler Fleet would literally crap their pants if they heard the same stuff I told this "owner". In summary this is not and will not be a service I recommend to anyone at all. Go somewhere else before spending your money here.

Dante A.

Yelp
So this was my second time fishing in the big blue and couldn't of picked a better charter,Captain Luke and Bill went over and beyond to accommodate everyone and helped my two girls and myself have an awesome time. We caught fish at every stop and had plenty of bait and tackle to last the whole day. The boat could hold thirty but being a week day there was about 15 total. We caught snappers , sea bass, huge barracudas and amber jacks! It was my best outing yet! When I come back to Florida, you can bet I will definitely be getting my Sea Love On!

James C.

Yelp
I go on charters several times a year. Fishing, is fishing and I don't judge a trip by the amount of fish caught. The list set forth below details the impetus for my rating. 1. The boat itself was not properly maintained. 2. The crew was nothing less than incompetent. Over an hour of our trip was spent watching the crew improperly negotiate the anchor retrieval. 3. The reels were improperly spooled, which made basic use a chore and landing a fish difficult. 4. They had limited tackle and provided only squid for bait. 5. The crew had limited and incorrect information on local species, limits and regulations. 6. The captain improperly negotiated the vessel through the waves. This led the several benign injuries. 7. After a horrible day on the sea, the crew came around asking for additional money. I advise driving an hour south on A1A to Ponce Inlet. I have taken out the Sea Spirit and the Critter Fleet. Both vessels have great crews!

Brianna C.

Yelp
Terrible experience today with my fiancé. The boat was not maintained well. The captain and his crew did not seem to know what they were doing. They wasted well over 2 hours moving from spot to spot and pulling the anchor up and putting it down.. My fiancé and I did not catch a thing. It seemed like they were more interested in moving us spot to spot to work less than actually help us catch any fish. I do not recommend Sea Love Charters and will not be using them again. When they say all day fishing, we expected at least 4 hours to catch fish but only fished for 2 hours...

Johnna C.

Yelp
I purchased the Full Day Deep Sea Fishing Excursion with Sea Love Charters, St. Augustine, Florida on July 5, 2018 for my husband and I for his birthday. The Mate, Captain and 20 passengers had to deal with a highly intoxicated passenger for 5+ hours while 25 miles out to sea and in 90 feet deep water. Due to this person starting multiple fights with other passengers including "fighting" himself and arguments with the Captain, not able to keep his balance, constant swearing and other vulgarities as well as not following rules and almost snapping his line putting others in dangers with his hook, the Mate and Captain contacted the owner while we were out at sea suggesting he contact the St. Augustine Police. The Mate and Captain were great. In an extremely stressful situation they managed to return us safely to shore. They shifted all passengers to one side of the boat to try to keep this man away from everyone. Although their efforts did not work they tried the best they could. After the police escorted the guy from the boat to the parking lot the owner of the company chose not to issue any fines or disorderly conduct, drunken disorderly summons. Apparently because nobody was hurt (because let's wait until that happens) he was satisfied enough to see him just leave with a verbal "no trespassing" warning. The owner was pretty blasé about the situation. He didn't even offer any partial/any type of refund or vouchers for another trip. I even informed the owner I took a video which he had no interest in viewing. If he had issued some type of charge I would have been more satisfied knowing this could be prevented for other families on future excursions. It was a very spoiled trip at $80 per person. I would find another charter company going forward who holds themselves to higher standards for their passengers while out in the middle of the ocean. The intoxicated man left in his girlfriend's car while smiling and laughing out his passenger side window.

Nicole B.

Yelp
Great day with the family! The crew was awesome and the captain put us on top of fish every time. My sister has never fished and she even has an amazing day! Thank you for being a part of our family vacation!! It was our best day on the water!!!

Cle W.

Yelp
This is garbage, if you looking to catch fish save your money and fish off the pier. You'll catch more, same size fish as "going to get the big ones". I've been getting ripped off by theses guys for bout 5 years now we caught a few little sharks got hooked thought it was good......now the last 4 year nothing but but a disappointment. Crews nice but don't expect to catch any fish. We took the half day trip it was a 3 hours boat ride 1 hour of fishing (supposed to be 2 hours fishing) whole boat that's about 35 people maybe caught 5-10 bait fish. I feel ripped off. But never again I'm going to the pier.

Caroline O.

Yelp
Went on a half day trip with 8 friends.. we had a good time and the staff was nice but as a group we didn't catch anything. Disappointed in the equipment and bait. Fun day out but don't expect to catch anything.

Bruce B.

Yelp
The boat crew where good to work with. However, for the full day off shore they used their small boat. Almost everyone got soaked going out on the 2 hr. trip out. They said nothing about the boat being a - you will get wet and cold. So, my party got very wet and cold. I have taken a lot of charter boats - this is the fewest fish I have ever caught. Four people in the party - caught 9 fish. Some groups only caught 2 little fish. Lost a big one - their leader broke. Had another big fish on - they tightened the drag - broke off instantly. Six of the fish we caught in the last 30 min. They stopped our fishing so another of their boats could get on the hot spot. The crew had a set "party line" why the fishing was bad - to include number of people on the boat. The boat was way below full.

Tim C.

Yelp
These guys are great and well worth the price of admission. The fishing was pretty slow when we went, but the crew was fun, engaging and made the full-day trip fun and relaxing. I'll definitely use this charter every time I'm in Saint Augustine...

Kevin N.

Yelp
Sea love fishing charters is a OK operation. I went in April of 2014 and again in august 2014 . The first time was great . We went a had a very successful day. We caught a lot of fish and the captain seemed to be on too of his game. He knew exactly where to go and took care of everyone who had tangles and other problems. We went 20 miles out and though the boat ride was long it was worth the wait. I wish I could say the same thing about our second trip. The captain was young and inexperienced and obviously didn't have a clue what was going on. We kept moving from spot to spot , didn't care about the customers because he was too busy trying to catch fish himself. They overbooked the boat and we were fishing shoulder to shoulder with people that were straight up inexperienced. Lines tangling and poor fishing makes it easy to get frustrated. The deck hand seemed to know more about what was actually going on then the captain did. I guess you get what you pay for but they need to tighten up. We left with fish and some mixed feelings .

Jeff C.

Yelp
This place was great. We called late on a Friday and they answered the phone, and we said we had some disability issues, and they said they would make it work. Then Saturday we had a full day of fishing and it was fantastic! They went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a great time and our special needs were met. it is obvious that they love fishing, and they just want fish all day!

Kevin H.

Yelp
Ive gone on 7 all day trips with sea love so far. They treat you like your family and really work hard to put you on the fish. I have tried other charters and they are by far the best bet for a good time. I will be going again soon.

Amy M.

Yelp
This is the worst boat I have ever been on if I could give no stars I would. My family and I Went out a few days ago and had such a bad experience, it is a rip off. We did the 8 hr fishing which is really like 3 hours of actual fishing if that. We stopped fishing at 1:15 in the afternoon when it said until 4. Now I understand that part is for driving but come on!! And instead of being on the boat advertised we went on there smaller boat, which was so small and narrow our legs didn't even fit while we were sitting. Plus they have no pole holders. We used the frozen boxed squid not even cut up, so it was soggy and disgusting. No sardines, and no options to buy live bait such as pin fish either. The captain was great, however the rest of the crew spent the day fishing themselves. On top of that the equipment was HORRIBLE!!! My sisters reel literally fell off the poll while she was fishing, twice. The hooks are rusty as all hell along with the pole itself. When we lost a good bite they told us that we needed a better pole and changed it out to another rusty broken pole. Then they didn't clean up the bait buckets until over an hour of us heading in so they were spilling and throwing disgusting squid everywhere. One of the buckets went all over my sisters nice tennis shoes dropping squid sitting out all day and the liquid all over her. I would NEVER go back on this. Oh and when we were catching fish the captain would move constantly and take us to areas with no bites. So weird. Then the mates came around while we were still riding in asking for tips telling my family and I $40 a person is the average!! Are you joking me?! There are a ton of better boats than this one. So disappointed.

H H.

Yelp
unfortunately I didn't have a good experience today. We were out for a full day trip which involved a 4 hours drive to and from the fishing spot which left us about 4 hours to actually fish. The captain didn't seem to know exactly where the spots where and kept adjusting the location forever before giving the OK to start fishing. We ended up fishing maybe an hour and half in total out of 4... The captain didn't stay more than 15 minutes in one spot, he would move to another location spending more time driving and adjusting in between. On the last fishing spot the captain spent 40 minutes finding, adjusting, dropping the anchor, raising the anchor and so on and so forth untill giving up and heading back.... In addition, there where too many people on the boat, more than 30 to be exact. We where elbow to elbow and constantly snagging on each others line. A few folks got lucky and catch a couple of nice amberfish, but most ended up with some redeye and others were not lucky at all and didn't catch any. There must have been about 30 fish caught in total which in relation to the amount of people on board is very disappointing. And to top it all, on the way back, we where chased away from the lower deck because the mates wanted to scrub it. We had to either go to they scorching upper deck, or the stuffy cabin so the mates can clean the boat while we were on it... Lastly, when we finally docked, myself and a few others went to the office to complain only to laurn that the owner was actually captainning the boat. The guy at the office told us to go back to the boat and talk to the captain. I did not, I'm not sure if others did but in any case, I will most likely not be back although I plan many more trips down to St Augustine. EDIT: I got a call this morning from one of the owners, Darryl (sp?) , who said he wanted to make his customers happy and promised me to take care of my next trip.

Yelp
It's not everyday that you catch a 50 inch Barracuda!! What a fabulous day today. Thank you to the crew at Sea Love Charters.....they are amazing and went above and beyond our expectations to insure that everyone onboard had a great fishing experience this morning. There were approximately 60 of us onboard and you would never have known it. There was a birthday party for a young boy and also a 19 yo and the crew went out of their way to make sure that they had an outstanding experience. They didn't stop there.....they made sure the rest of us did too. My daughter who was in from out of town was not too sure of the whole thing until she had to reel in a 50" Barracuda. She LOVED it!! Do not hesitate to go out for a 4 hour trip; it will be one of the best days you can spend with family and friends!!

Yelp
My daughter and I have been trying 3 years to go fishing on a charter in Jacksonville while she visits for Thanksgiving. The weather has always made them cancel the trip. This year we tried the Sea love III and it was a huge success. The crew were very professional and followed fishing regulations to the T. We caught enough fish to wear us out by the end of the day. Mostly Red Snapper ( all thrown back because of the laws, not the size) and Vermillion Snapper. The boat was clean but they do need to work on the head. It is in bad shape and could use some work. The boat though, is clean and seemed to operate without problems. The captain knows where the fish are. It is a long ride out (2 Hours) and the same coming back on our 8 hour trip. The crew are very helpful and always right there to take fish off the hook and get them on ice. At the end they clean and fillet all the fish. Bring what you want to eat or drink. There is nothing onboard. I would have made this review an enthusiastic 5 stars if the head was fixed up.

Yelp
I paid for my son, his friends, and my sons father to have a boys day out and they just got back catching nothing! I orginally booked for the boat that held 25 and then they were loaded onto the 60 person boat. Almost everyone on their boat caught nothing! The poles sucked and are more broken then anything else. The deck hands are just more interested in getting tips then doing their job. I've been on charters before and always caught fish to bring back home. This place is a total rip off and lies about the boat you'll be on. If I could give it 0 stars I would. We're also locals and this was so disappointing! Not recomending this charter to anyone. Stay away!

Yelp
I haven't been on this charter sense they moved to their new location until yesterday. I have always had pretty good luck with them, however yesterday's trip was horrible. Out of the 30 plus people on the boat 9 fish was caught that could be kept. They didn't seem to try and put us on fish that was actually in season, I have never been out where we didn't catch an abundance of sea bass or other similar fish. The people who came with me was also disappointed, we spent a total of $480.00 on the trip and had one fish weighing about 1 pound that we didn't bring home because it wasn't worth it. Then the crew had the audacity to send around a bucket asking for tips. I will never do another Charter with Sea Love. I would suggest to anyone one else wanting to go deep sea fishing use a different charter this one is worthless. The captain and the crew just didn't do their jobs and try to put us on fish it's just sad.

Yelp
I wish to thank you for the worst fishing trip I have ever had thereby confirming my desire to never go on another of your boats. The deckhand provided us with bait and after he saw me using our drinking water to try to get some of the stinking mess off of my hands brought us a small pail of water that should of been with the bait. The first rod he brought had no sinker and te replacement ros had a reel that I had to play with to get to freewheel to let out the line. The levelers were removed and we had to keep moving the line as we reeled in line.I keep saying we because there were 3 of us in the party. Between us we caught 6 fish all under 7 inches long. I saw noone on this boat catch anything worth keeping and as i was a halfday fish we stayed on one place but they did keep repositioning the boat. We rarely saw the deck crew except for moving ther boat. Oh yes at one point the deckhand did hook a Barracuda and let a young boy bring it in and I thought that was nice. On the return trip the deckhand washed down the inside of the boat and in my opinion we were in his way . Ithink there were less than 15 payig clients on the boat and I hope the others got better service than we did. In thinking about it all I'm sorry That I put in a tip for my grandson and myself. In all thre trip cost me $240.00 and a wasted half day in St Augustine.

Yelp
What a wonderful day of fishing. We went out about an hour or so before we got to the fishing spot. We were catching a lot of fish but very few keepers. It was not their fault, the state changed laws about what can be kept. We moved a couple times to find good fish to keep. Some people left with a bunch of fish. I only got a few, but that is why it is called fishing not catching. The crew was very attentive and helped with anything I needed. I brought a cooler of beer and food and had a great day. I am glad I took the full day that was offered and not the half day. I don't know if the boat would have been as successful with only 4 hours. The deck hands even cleaned our fish when we got back. One of the crew caught a huge fish and they divided it up and let anyone who wanted to take some home. I will definitely do this again. And would recommend it to everyone. The only thing I would do differently is get a spot at the back of the boat, they seemed to catch more fish. I was later told that was because the stern is where the fish finder is, and that is where they put the boat on top of the fish. We also saw a huge stingray jump all the way out of the water, and a bunch of dolphins.
