"Oyster roast is one of Lowcountry's traditions that you have to experience at least once. You can spend an entire Saturday afternoon shucking fresh-caught oysters roasted on-site over an open fire while listening to live music and sipping on a cucumber Bloody Mary. Sit at the outdoor deck or oceanfront bar at Coast overlooking a stunning beach at The Sea Pines Beach Club Resort. Oyster roasts are held every other Saturday and admission is free." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Google
Our food was really great! The filet mignon was very tender and delicious. Personally we would not recommend the seafood michelada as an entree, solely because the meal was 80% chips. The dip was good so it would likely make a much better appetizer.

Google
Good selection for shopping, real estate, fun at beach ⛱ and nice restaurant with outdoor bar 🍸 and seating

Google
Sea Pines Beach Club Beach Bar was excellent, very nice bartenders and a lot of very tasty drinks They have a great variety of drinks. Grab a drink and sit on the beach. Great combination!! I didn't indulge on the food but the food looked very tasty as well.

Google
Coast is an excellent place if you want to dine at the beach. Keep in mind that you will need to pay $9 to get into the Sea Pines Community. We had the lobster roll and salmon, both were excellent as well as the drinks.

Google
Everything was great! The service, the drinks and the food all very good. I had fresh catch and it was delicious. The atmosphere is magical. I highly recommend hanging out here for awhile.

We had a few cocktails, ate no food at the club, thus cannot critique the cuisine. Friendly bar staff, knowledgeable pertaining to the Hilton Head, Bluffton, Tybee, Savannah area Scenic atmosphere, great for a long walk along the beach.

Deas Nealy

Google
Very nice place to grab a bite and have a cocktail or two. Dog friendly outside and has music most of the time.

Google
Beautiful beach bar and restaurant situation. Food is very good. Drinks are top shelf. The view is stunning. Prices are reasonable for an upscale establishment. Always a fave when we are down. Service is courteous and friendly.

Yelp
The Sea Pines Beach Club was a great experience, especially as a first-time visitor from Missouri! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the serene, coastal atmosphere. The open-air seating, soft ocean breeze, and sound of the waves created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience. The drinks were top-notch--perfectly balanced and refreshing. Their signature cocktails were as delicious as they were beautiful, and the wine list offered fantastic options to pair with the food. The appetizers stole the show! The shrimp cocktail was fresh and succulent, the crab cakes were full of flavor with just the right amount of crisp, and the charcuterie board was a perfect mix of flavors and textures. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations, ensuring we had the best experience possible. As someone from Missouri, this was such a memorable introduction to the beauty and charm of coastal dining in the Sea Pines.

Yelp
Came here after tho beach and it was a wonderful choice! The service was amazing and it was nice to sit outside but under the shade. The menu is huge and has a lot of options. I ordered a mojito and it was one of the best mojitos I've ever had! I also got the burger and it was delicious! I'll definitely be back and recommend this as a must try when visiting Hilton head!

Yelp
Fabulous place. Inside of the Sea Pines resort, this is a private beach, but there are times when anyone can go in there. You just have to check to be sure before you go. Otherwise, there's no parking anywhere close. I think you can ride your bike there from anywhere though. There are restaurants in here and bars. A couple of boutique shops. View is amazing overlooking the ocean, and there's tons of seating at the bar area outside. Fun, place to hang out, they have live music.

Bob W.

Yelp
Went for a beach walk & drinks at the out door bar mid-afternoon. We sat at a table near the railing of the restaurant area just down from the bar. All the tables were only a third occupied. A server came up to us while enjoying our drinks to tell us we cannot sit at our table as it is only for restaurant customers. She was very rude and told us in a very cold way to move. This was after we spent $40 on drinks. Not being polite with many empty tables did not sit well with us. As locals why would I ever go back to the Beach Club?!

Sophie P.

Yelp
Calamari was soo yummy! Fish taco were ok but nothing memorable. The pina colada is yummy too, not too sweet! Sat at the bar area, there were a lot of fans to help cool off with a nice view :)

Mary A.

Yelp
We stopped in for an after dinner cocktail. Amee was awesome and made excellent drinks. We loved sitting at the bar with the heaters. A fun and relaxing end of the evening.

Erik H.

Yelp
Jorge was a great server. The mahi mahi tacos were great, the calamari was out of this world. Had oysters for the first time out of season and they were really good as well. Highly recommend all of this.

Bill P.

Yelp
We went here for drinks one evening. We like to have a drink at the outside bar that overlooks the beach. On this occasion we just had drinks, a glass of beer and a mojito. Both were fine. The attraction here is the view of the beach. The bar staff was friendly and provided prompt service. The staff member that served us has been there for several years when we visit. We'll be back next year most likely.

Brian G.

Yelp
I was torn on this. I think 4.5 is right but it was such a good experience I had to go 5. The atmosphere was freaking amazing. Can you beat the beach view balcony. NO The answer is a hard no. Honestly. I would have had a gas station hotdog for this view. But seriously, the sashimi Tuna tacos may have been the best tacos I have ever had. Pretty sure I could have eaten 40. Sooooooooo good. My wife had the beet salad which was delicious, but I don't like this new trend of leaving ridiculously long stems. They are bitter and throw off the balance and are awkwardly hard to eat. It isn't fancy, cut that shot off chefs!!!!!!! Live music was a nice bonus that we really enjoyed. Great service too. The boulvardier was good but too heavy on the vermouth. Go with the black tie Manhattan. It was fantastic.

Andrew C.

Yelp
It is our fortune to have a family member that belongs to the Sea Pines Beach Club. The club is fabulous with many recreational activities besides their wonderful beach, outdoor dining and covered patio bar area. They offer residents bicycle parking, shuttle service from the Harbour Town Inn, resort trolley service, and parking at the resort. Simply a fabulous place to enjoy an entire day, especially if you enjoy recreational activities and sun worshipping.

Cindy S.

Yelp
Wonderful lunch with a beach view, doesn't get much better! Blue crab dip and Beet salad with salmon. Delicious!

Lexy J.

Yelp
Nick was a great server. Very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Fast and professional and always with a smile on his face. Definitely ask for him when dining at the Beach Club. Food was great for our group. We shared a bunch of sides and they were all very well enjoyed!

John D.

Yelp
Foods okay but if you get your bikes stolen they are not help. I wish they didn't have thieves hanging around but what are ya gonna do :(

Paul H.

Yelp
Great place to relax and listen to music. April was our server and enhanced our amazing experience. She is an awesome server!!

Gianna C.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite beaches here on the island. Very secluded, clean, and quiet. You can rent chairs with a large umbrella if you don't have your own. the lifeguard on duty are always on the lookout and prepared for anything. The walk onto the beach is handicap friendly and a shorter distance on to the sand than the rest of the beaches I've been to. There are changing rooms, restrooms, and outdoor showers to rinse off sand before getting in your vehicle. The attendants at the front letting people into the parking lot have been extremely rude the two times we've been this trip. For such a upscale beach, the people working the gate are extremely off putting. We looked past it because the view on this beach is spectacular. Not going to let miserable workers ruin our good time! This side of the island has less jelly fish than Coligny beach. The waves are larger and the wind is stronger as well.

Evan G.

Yelp
Sea Pines Beach Club at Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island is a great place to go for all things beach, event space, and dining. I really like the atmosphere and location of the facility here and all that they have to offer. The views of the water are fantastic and well worth the visit. Good overall experience every time I have been here.

Caroline C.

Yelp
Nick was my server the other other . He was very sweet . He was a hard worker and very quick . He provided excellent service . It was my husband and I first time there . We will definitely return and request Nick to be our server .

Alex O.

Yelp
Such a pleasant place to sit on the deck and enjoy a cocktail and the beautiful outdoors. Great service at the bar. Great, clean facilities. Love riding my bike there either on the beach or on bike paths. Great areas to wash off your feet or bike if they're sandy. Love it.

Steve W.

Yelp
We have to stop here every vacation. The service here with Kristen, Liz, and Jimmy is the best all around. Does it get busy...sure...that just means its going to be a great cocktail. Food arrives fast and just a happy place to hang out.

Carmela S.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible!!! As a local u have to pay to get in $9.00 to get food. Just ordered food and was coming right back out. The guard was rude nasty and doesn't care. Horrible I would never pay! As a local South Carolina Beaufort county you should be able to go anywhere on the island..

Lyusha G.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this place!! The staff is wonderful, the food is great and was a lot more reasonably priced than we expected considering the location, and the frozen drinks are excellent! Located on a wonderful, long, clean beach that's a pleasure to spend the day on. Club has anything and everything you might have forgotten.

Maureen G.

Yelp
Beautiful spot! We had a family of 7 with 2 small children walk in & get ocean side table. Service was excellent as was food & mango madness (: family pictures & little ones playing on the ocean front ! Hard to beat this spot!!

Bob C.

Yelp
We always try & go at least once when we're visiting Hilton Head. Beautiful facility, good food & view.

Robert F.

Yelp
Very relaxing enjoying drinks overlooking the ocean. Our server April was very pleasant and attentive, and added to our enjoyment.

Mike M.

Yelp
8 of 14 nights!! Want an incredible experience. I feel like we found a diamond in the rough. We only had 14 nights on the island for vacation and we spent eight of them with our friends, and yes we call them friends, now at the beach club restaurant. I highly recommend it. I don't think I have ever done this before where on vacation we love the food, the atmosphere and the people so much that we stayed at the same restaurant every night. No doubt they still need to improve on the wine list, but all in all the food was fantastic, the people were beyond awesome and the new manager Anthony could be the secret to it all. let's keep supporting them and watch this restaurant go to the levels the island has never seen!

Melinda Z.

Yelp
Very disappointing that we spent the $3000 a week to rent a house in Sea Pines, and they have limited access to their beach access parking area. Initially we are told 50 cars. Then we observe a car leaving and ask if we can take their spot. The Attendant informs us that they have 35 extra cars over their allowed 50 so we would in fact have to wait for 35 TO LEAVE. Seriously?!?! With a deadpanned expression she informed us there is nothing she can do. So it's okay to go 35 over your "allowance" but we aren't allowed to fill a spot that just left. In an open air environment I don't understand the restriction. Even if you wanted to eat at the Coast Restaurant they would not let you in the parking lot until after 3pm. Totally has taken away from the HHI Sea Pines experience and will not return. Ever.

C C.

Yelp
2019 update. It's even worse this year. Not only are they only allowing the first 50 cars into the parking lot, but this year you also can't park at the golf course across the street and be shuttled over (in the past you could pay to park there and be shuttled over. Not ideal but at least it was an option). So your options of getting to the beach club are: - wake up early and get to the beach by 8:30/9 if you want to park at the club - wait all day to go to the beach until about 4pm when they're no longer patrolling parking - park at a lot about 5 min away (called lot 8) and wait for a shuttle to come get you, and all your stuff. And you know ride with a crowd of hot sweaty people - or get yourself and your stuff (and your kids! Ugh) to a trolley stop which will also take you to the beach club. BUT you can't get on with all your stuff if too big. And even though there's a website with supposed etas, it's super off and there's no way of telling when the trolley will come. It was 15 min early, then 45 min late. So you're stuck waiting in the hot South Carolina sun with all your shit. NIGHTMARE. I keep asking myself why we come back

Tracy B.

Yelp
My husband and I visited this location last week. The food was amazing but the service is to rave about. We had the sweetest server. Her name was Gabriela. The way she treated her customers reminded me of a time when people cared and treated each other with respect. As an older person I would like to say she is amazing and her parents raised her right!!!!

Christoph T.

Yelp
My family and I used to go there every year till now when the gate securities (especially mean old lady who treats us like a 3rd class) telling us that we can't park there anymore because we're not the residents even though we're the guests of the Marriott club. Why change now when things are great in the past? 1 star for the beach but everything are bit too strict for the guests. It was an amazing place for the families for past 20 years but now it's becoming more like old people's playground with they don't want to share with everyone.

Yelp
Arrived at the Ocean Lounge in Sea Pines to celebrate a special occasion. Hostess appeared more annoyed with our arrival than accommodating. This restaurant is on the intimate side and we were looking forward to an evening of jazz while we dined. It took our waitress roughly 10 minutes to arrive for the first time with menus. Ordered a bottle of wine and was told AFTER salad arrived that wine we selected would need to be retrieved from a different location because it wasn't in stock. Completed appetizer and wine finally arrived. Truth be told, our entrees were very good. Ordered coffee and desert following the meal. Coffee arrived soon enough but waited and waited... no sign of desert. Finally flagged down our waitress and instructed her to cancel the deserts. She apologized and suggested "they were slammed downstairs." Whatever that meant... Restaurant manager visited our table, apologized for the experience and offered us deserts. If I refused them earlier, I certainly didn't want them now. The Ocean Lounge definitely isn't a cheap night out. For a meal for two that ran $150, I expected so much more in terms of service. Very disappointing...

Yelp
One of the best kept secrets in Sea Pines. My wife and I love to come here for our date nights. There's live music here on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's mostly business and some casual dress. It's also adults only and that's attractive once your kids have grown. The menu isn't extensive, but it's packed with flavor. The fresh seafood platters are phenomenal. Our favorite this past trip was the lobster and shrimp pasta with a cream sauce. It was excellent, full of flavor and very filling. My wife got the fish tacos that were fried and it wasn't very good. We should have gotten them grilled, maybe they would have had some flavor. There's lots of parking out front. The staff have always been extremely friendly and attentive. We love the fact that there's inside and outside dining options. Enjoy

Monique I.

Yelp
Nice location and ambience but the food was horrible. $200 for appetizers which consisted of 3 orders of friends, a soup and some oysters? Not worth the money at all. The only good thing about this spot was the beach view and live music.

Taylor M.

Yelp
This is a nice beach and resort, and my family has come here every year for almost a decade for our family vacation without many problems. However, this year we were not able to park in the beach club parking lot due to renting a property through Airbnb versus The Sea Pines Resort, regardless of having the same parking pass AND having to buy extra passes through the front gate. Normally, we wouldn't mind the walk; but my sister just had her baby and the parking attendants wouldn't even let my brother-in-law go in to drop my sister and her 5-month-old off before going to park down the street. So instead, my sister walked half a mile to the beach with her 5-month-old exposed to the sun aside from her little hat. Thank you Sea Pines Beach Club parking attendants for giving us a reason to now longer stay in Sea Pines.

LisaLisa B.

Yelp
Turtle Walk and Talk Very informative and perfect for families. Bring a blanket or towel, since the presentation is at a mock nest site. All of the tools and some display items are there for the presenter. Our team did a fantastic job of explaining the types of turtles, how they make their nests, and the data that is taken to help track them. The only downer was that we did not see any nests, but that was understandable once our guide explained how dangerous that would be for the turtles. (It made sense, but I was expecting a walk along the beach, due to thw title. It might be a good idea for them to change the title to "Turtle Talk"). Overall, a great evening and I give it 2 flippers up.

Yelp
The Sea Pines Beach Club has been our family ocean destination for the past twenty five years. This is a family beach. You will see multiple generations of family members enjoying the shore. Children are all around. The sand is soft and ultra fine. The water is perfect, small manageable waves, at best. There are always Life Guards on duty. There are restrooms, changing stations, beach chair rentals, places to wash off beach equipment, showers, dog water fountains, human water fountains, and loads of bike racks. You may bring your own beach chairs and umbrellas to the beach club. There is a circle drive for dropping off beach gear at the front. The path out to the sand is wide and flat so you can push or pull strollers or beach wagons. You may ride bikes on the beach, but it is discouraged to park them there during busy season as to not impede anyone's view of the ocean. The Beach Club House has a bar, Surfside Market, Surf Shop, and event venue. All staff has always been ultra accommodating. Dogs are allowed at the beach until 10 am, and again after 5 pm. There is a no dog black out during high tourist times from 10am- 5pm. Small guarded parking lot on-site. It is best to take the Sea Pines Shuttle or Bike to the the beach club.

Janet N.

Yelp
My friend and I registered online to take yoga class I paid a $20 fee and then arrived at the resort only to find out I needed to pay an additional nine dollars to go into the resort area - the gentleman at the gate was very rude. They do not accept credit cards. I had to go 2 miles away to get cash only to be late for the class. Very bad customer service. Disrespectful. What I called to inquire about this unpleasant surprise and to ask for a refund I was told that that was not possible and that I should be a resort customer although the class is not advertised that way. My guess is at the rest of the resort experience would be like this. I suggested you avoid this resort completely if you want to enjoy a vacation where you are treated with respect.

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Sea Pines is a special place and within this special place is a special place called the Beach Club. In recent years it has become a little fancier which isn't my taste per se but I understand why other people prefer bigger and "better". A visit to the beach club in a must do for this crew. Expansive and clean you can't beat the beaches on H2. I've soaked up the sun many days here. It's never hot in March in my experience but it's always sunny and warm. After a few strawberry daiquiris even Whisky the dog from Georgia who whizzed on my beach bag couldn't piss me off. And as is the case in SC every man is a gentleman and his owner was gracious enough to fill us up as a reparation.

B B.

Yelp
I wish I could give them 5 stars, but the new parking policy is greedy and awful. The food is great, beach is clean and beautiful. The bar and bartenders are some of the nicest on the island. That parking policy, though. Motivated by greed. If you aren't one of the first 50 to arrive, a property owner, or renting directly from the Sea Pines company, you pay $10 to park a mile away. So, if you're renting from a homeowner, you pay. If you arrive past 8:30am, you pay. Meanwhile, you drive past a dozen empty spots while turning around to leave. Super unfriendly. Wish they'd go back to the southern hospitality they used to operate with. Too bad.

Yelp
This afternoon, my husband and I went to The Sea Pines Beach Club for drinks and calamari. We love their calamari. The first thing that we noticed was the way that Emily and Caitlin were enforcing the "Wear a Mask" rule! They were professional and courteous while ensuring the safety of all of their patrons. We saw Emily handle a rather "difficult" customer with professionalism, class, and dignity. Our waiter was Vlad. He was friendly and personable. He made sure that we were taken care of without being hovering. For 29 years, we have been coming to Hilton Head. The Sea Pines Beach Club is always one of our favorite places to sit, eat, and admire the beautiful coast. The staff, Emily, Vlad, and Caitlin, the atmosphere, and the food keep us coming back.

Jonathan P.

Yelp
The beach is really nice and the actual beach club is very pleasant. Parking is a massive nightmare! Learned about some new parking policies from the eager if not militant (Don't get me wrong. Im sure comrade Stalin is pleased.) parking attendants. I have been staying in SeaPines since I was a kid. Used to be welcoming and friendly. I'm going to have to agree with some of the other posters maybe it's time to switch to Palmetto Dunes or Shipyard. Someone at SeaPines has gotten a little greedy. Such a shame.

Jacob F.

Yelp
I give this restaurant a 5 because not only was the view spectacular and not only was the food amazing but the service here just makes it feel like you belong. To add on, I ordered the catfish entree. I love the way the tartar sauce complements the fish but also the presentation was just beautiful. In conclusion, if you are ever in Hilton Head Island, SC, I strongly recommend going to the Sea Pines Beach Club.

Carson M.

Yelp
Amazing service and food. Everyone was so nice especially chuck and Michelle. Views are incredible too.

J M.

Yelp
Yeah I concur with others that it's even worse than last year. Paying to park across the street sucked enough but now they managed to make it suck even more in not giving us that rip off option. Seapines really knows how to make longtime visitors not feel valued. 8 years I've been coming here and I always stayed in Seapines. Thought I would give it one more shot even though going to the beach is now a PITA. Next year it is definitely Plametto Dunes for us. I actually found a much nicer place for the same money there. When going to the beach is a hassle, Seapines really lost a lot of value for me. Whatever they're doing with the trolleys now seems to have messed that system up too. Been standing here at the Blue line Plantation Club stop for 30 minutes and have watched 2 trolleys ride by headed to the beach club ferrying beach people from those oblivion parking lots.

Meghan R.

Yelp
This review is just for the hostess at the Ocean Lounge as we have had very pleasant service prior and the beach club is generally lovely. The older women who "greeted" us at the door could not have been more rude. Shame to miss the jazz but definitely not a place on the level that her attitude is worth patronizing.

Curtis J.

Yelp
Had a wonderful birthday dinner with family and friends here in HILTON HEAD. The beach club setting was fantastic out under the stars and the food was fantastic! Thanks to the Joneses for a great time!

Jathan S.

Yelp
Great outdoor setting. Food was great. Service awesome and live music. Seafood platter was enough for two. Calamari was good

C N.

Yelp
Lunch with a view. Beautiful patio n bar overlooking a powder white beach. Wonderful selection of seafood wraps and salads. Nice wine selections and after meal coffees. Service efficient and friendly.

Paul J.

Yelp
Had an unforgettable experience at the bar and restaurant upstairs. Our server was Will who was unbelievably generous. Brought us everything we needed faster than I expected with a smile through his mask. Cessia, the employee of the month in my opinion, did it all. She checked on us, and made sure we were 100% satisfied throughout the night! After dinner, we moved into the bar where Emily was bartending. She was awesome! Sweet, funny and made awesome drinks - her espresso martini should be a permanent staple on the drink menu!

Marie N.

Yelp
Took a ride to Hilton head for the day on Saturday and had lunch at the club. The service was great and the food was great. A picture perfect setting on the beach. The weather was breezy and cool. We had a large group and the service was attentive. Not a bad meal in the bunch. Worth the trip!
