Perfect location. Away from the crowds and traffic. Short beautiful walk to the beach. Cabin is clean with fresh new linens. Kitchen is equipped with all the necessary items including the dishes, cutlery and small appliances such as mini gas stove, cattle and a microwave. On the downside during our stay in July 2024 fire pit was missing the rack for cooking. Water in the toilet was running in the bathroom.

A rustic campground that needs some serious TLC for the money they charge to stay here.|The most expensive campground we have stayed at along the Oregon coast, over double the price of all the others. No concrete or gravel on which to place our trailer and the surrounding vegetation needed a lot of tending to and was so overgrown that we couldn’t extend our awning/canopy until we pruned back some growth ourselves. It was just un-loved and un-tidy (not litter, vegetation) . Our trailer pitch was small but at least it was private, some of the pitches had zero privacy at all. Some of the tent pitches were literally on the roadside, I mean inches from the busy road. Our pitch had a permanent school bus parked behind it and a sea-can covered in weeds and brambles as the view on the other side.|Quiet time doesn’t seem to be monitored by anyone because the people in the cabin by us were outside talking just inches from us talking about God & Jesus (cue eye roll) until well after 11pm.|There is a family living full time in an old school bus on the grounds who do nothing but argue loudly most of the time unfortunately and ruin the relaxing aspect of the camping experience because every time we returned to the campground after a day of sight seeing for a bit of chill out time or try to sit and read , they were arguing .|Other than those negatives , it does offer showers/toilets/laundry and full recycling facilities ( we never used them as we have them all in our trailer so I cannot say what condition they were in , I daresay old-fashioned and in need of repair) and you can walk to the beach and town directly from the campground which is a huge bonus as I imagine in the height of summer parking in town could be a challenge. We did enjoy our daily walks to the beach with our dogs and to the local brew pub just minutes away.|The newly opened store was a delightful experience and the store owner was lovely. I went there every morning for my coffee and also purchased some other sundry food items. |Sadly, the park is owned by a company in California , so who knows how often a representative of theirs visits or how much they care, as long as people like us keep paying to stay there. |That said , I'd stay again for the convenience factor and at least I now know what to expect.

More like a luxury homeless encampment. Overly crowded. It looks like what used to be a single campsites have been turned into three campsites. You are right next to other tents. There was no where to park our car, so based on that fact alone we did not stay and opted to pay for a hotel. It appears infrastructure was not able to support the amount of campers. Would not recommend.

This place also books online under The Retreat at Cannon Beach. The only positive thing about our RV camping experience here was the location- you can walk to downtown, the beach or nearby nature trails. Sites are cramped, difficult to access, uneven and ours became a huge puddle with just a little rain. Bathrooms and bathhouse not very clean and need to be updated- extremely rustic. Laundry is only open 10-6 so you cannot get your laundry done if just passing through and staying 1 night. Overall value is poor. This was the most expensive campground (106/night) we stayed at during our 3 week trip and the worst.

Google
We had a great stay. Context is key- this isn’t camping near Cannon Beach, it is IN Cannon beach. The centre of town is maybe a 10 minute walk, and the beach is that or less. Not huge camp sites, facilities are only okay, and not the cheapest- but we had a great time, and I would definitely come back.

Camped our a van a couple days ago. We had a water and electric site, 1 dog, and 3 people including myself. Price is about $88 with tax and fees. Absolutely worth it!! I am not someone who has a lot to spend but we had a great experience, access to showers/bathrooms, excellent location 5 min walk from town or the beach, peaceful area with wildlife, and our site has a fire pit, water, and electricity. Be kind to management and patient. I see some of the reviews complaining about cancellation policy, etc. Sea Ranch has very straightforward information about their cancellation policy on the website when booking, and at the office..lots of written info and it was very clear to me—no hidden tactics there. It does get super busy and full in the summer and is a different experience than the peaceful spring time. Just make sure you follow rules, and get a site big enough (the site sizes vary a lot). Looking forward to coming here again!

Google
The Asian dude working the front desk must be a family member because he would be fired otherwise. Passive-aggressive mean. They need to fix potholes and trim high trees in their.......RV PARK. Sites 22, 23, 24 for bigger rigs have barely enough room for your awning and your neighbor's sewer is right next to your door. Dusty, it is a parking lot. It's a great location to leave your car and walk or bike to the little town, which is the reason they charge so much. Like the last review, I would not stay here again. CANNON BEACH RV Resort is VERY nice with grass, big shade trees, paved road and room between sites. We visited & learned it's the same price and much easier to park & more spaces. Alittle longer walk to shops, but just 2 minutes on a bike.

Our campsite #15 was directly under a street light that made it feel like daylight all night long. The staff drove around their truck way into the late hours around midnight, so constant noise. No horses! The camp store was closed the wood they sell was wet and the sites are so small you can barely fit your car and one tent. We left a day early and got a hotel room.

Yelp
Was in need of a place to stay for the one night. Paid $55 for a tent site and was content with where I ended up. Little bit pricey and wouldn't have gone if I didn't have the choice. I did get one of the more private sites in comparison to most of the other campers. Only con was that the parking situation for me and the family next to me wasn't great. My site was squeezed in between three other campsites and privacy was granted from trees and bushes, but as stated before the other campers didn't seem to have much privacy. My site clearly had a parking spot, but the family next to me had to squeeze their car super close to their area. I'm unsure of how long they were there for, but I assume they had been there for a few days and parking where I was before my arrival. I arrived to my site in the evening before they got back from an outing and as they were going to pull in I could tell they were thrown off and expecting to park probably where I was, and respectfully because if I was them I would be parking there too! I felt kind of bad because they seemed so confined after my arrival. To give you an idea, I think they were a family of 5 and I was just by myself with a site that felt much roomier. The bathrooms were okay too. The facilities themselves are nice, but lack in restocking paper towels (and I imagine other necessities) in the morning. Overall this place provided what I needed for the night, but some of their sites are closely squeezed next to others. Adequate for some families and not at all for others.

Yelp
Very courteous staff, nice sites! Close to town! Only thing I think could be improved on is more dumpsters and more sewer hook -ups!

Yelp
Cannon Beach is a wonderful place to camp especially made easy at the Sea Ranch. I RV camped with my Teardrop trailer and found a spot to my liking. I only needed the electric hookup at an rv site. The Sea Ranch Campground was indeed a pleasant surprise. Bathrooms were very clean, showers (and yes they had hot water) and they had WiFi. On top of that it was a quick walk to town for food and a short walk to Cannon Beach where I spent a few days walking and exploring the coast. Made for a nice spring getaway road trip with plenty of sun and sand.

Yelp
We booked a deluxe RV site, we arrived, I hooked electricity, water and sewer. Then after a few minutes after the sewer line backed up. And there was black water everywhere and smelling. Tried to contact, no one was at the admin. Office, no one answered the phone, the phone message suggested to send an e- mail which we did. The next day the sent the maintenance guy and he tried to unblock the sewage and shi.. started to come out from the vent line. We complained and asked for a refund. First he said I did not call, then that I did not send an e- mail, the that it was not his problem and I needed to call 2 weeks in advance for a refund. We told them that it was their responsibility to provide service, we paid 80,- USD. For what happened, it was an issue that they were responsable. We cannot recommend a place that is not responsible of its own business.S

JD S.

Yelp
Great location but that's it. This was last minute trip and all I could find for camping on a summer weekend. Campsites--all of them are super small--some places you wonder where to park your car or place tent. Not a welcoming place--from the reservation process to asking simple questions. Yet the place is packed. My tent neighbors (really--we are all crammed into a small circle--thankfully all were respectful) also made last minute reservations. The place is so bad you could probably find a reservation last minute--and that's a plus if you really want to come to Cannon beach. But don't expect quiet, privacy or decent bathrooms.

Hanna P.

Yelp
Take your money elsewhere - incredibly rude owner/staff, very small tent sites for insane rates plus extra charges all over the place ($70+ dollars for one night for a very small tent site, plus other ridiculous fees like a pet fee. Yes, really. They charge a pet fee even for an outdoor campsite.) You can find a nice hotel at a similar price when all is said and done. You'll find MUCH better sites for a fraction of the cost elsewhere - please don't support businesses like these if you can avoid it.

Yelp
If I could give this place a minus 10 review I would. Upon arrival, we told the office that the site assigned to us would not accommodate our rig. The young man gave us another spot and we went about setting up. Later that evening, the owner came to us yelling that we had to move. We told her that we would not and she caused quite a scene screaming that someone else had reserved the spot we were occupying. I politely explained that she should calm down and realize that we did nothing wrong and that she had issues with management, training and customer service. The whole campground gathered around and commiserated with us noting that this was nothing new. Now for the pros: there is but one. Town and beach are a short, easy walk. Cons: "Dump station" is simply a sewer drain that goes directly into the men's bathroom. No rinse hose available. Also no retaining wall around the sewer. 110 outlets next to water pipes. No GFI. Bathrooms and showers are very old and seldom clean. Most spots are grassy but un-level and brush is not trimmed. Tree branches must be cleared/broken before parking. No dish water drains for tenters. Crabby owner!

Yelp
I have stayed here previously and it's ok. Yes, it's overpriced, but it's ok. However, I will never return as the owners and management lack any integrity or ethics. Their reservations terms show short-term cancellations are subject to a one night fee however I cancelled a booking over six weeks in advance and they charged a one-night cancellation fee of $80 and refunded me $1.77. Wow, a refund of $1.77. They justify it by saying because of Covid they are short-staffed and it takes time for them to process. Their customer service is so poor that it took over a week for them to even respond to my cancellation request. I made the reservation based on the their reservation terms however they are not well-written or clear, they show that reservation changes are free and cancellations earlier than two weeks are charged a one-night fee. Never again, they really are criminal.

Katherine M.

Yelp
Very rude owner I will not work for someone who looks you up and down and doesn't have a clue who your are I reported her to the water businesses bureau to I hope this lady will learn not to be rude to her clientele because she will never get anywhere with that attitude if I was her boss I would fire her on the spot

Kara P.

Yelp
HORRIBLE experience!! The owner/manager of this "resort" has zero personal or communication skills. Aside from the manager's unwillingness to accommodate customers, the campsite we were assigned was located on a sewer mound. Literally, on a sewer mound---we couldn't even put our chairs outside our trailer due to the large hill made by the sewer access point. The smell was horrible and we were not allowed to move to other sites. (Note: On the website, there were unbooked/available sites that were not used the two days we stayed). The owner/manager would not provide us with a reason why we could not move to an open site. We continued to lose power throughout our stay. The gentleman who was in charge of maintenance came to our site multiple times to "fix" the problem. The "fix" was to leave exposed wires above the ground and to give us access to the breaker box. Campfire? That would have been nice but the camp ring was located directly below low-hanging bushes. If a fire was made, it would have caught the bushes and nearby trees on fire. Due to the overgrown bushes, the length of our trailer and vehicle would not fit in the site. We asked if we could unhook our trailer from our vehicle and park it within the 'resort' and were told by the ower that we had to stay attached. Therefore, we had to pull our vehicle's nose into the bushes so the end of our trailer would not hang into the road and block traffic. This place is outrageously expensive for the service and way in which customers are treated. I will be sending pictures of the exposed electrical wires, sewage, and campfire hazards to the appropriate city groups for follow-up. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! The owner/manager's poor attitude, lack of customer service skills, and lack of safety for customers was unbelievable.

Yelp
Someone could really make this RV park into a nice place. But why should they since the tourists are clamoring to pay $100 per day for a lousy RV space? Don't get site #4; goat hill with a sink hole in the pavement, can't drain the septic cause water doesn't run uphill.

Georgia P.

Yelp
Terrible communication, no accommodation. Sites are VERY small and on top of each other. They don't tell you that some of the sites are shared electricity so if air conditioning is needed, good luck. No shower benches, no 420. Find someplace else. Oh! And the measurements of your rv must include your vehicle, although they don't tell you until later! Then they want you to move or pay. Will never go here again.

Jasmine M.

Yelp
We just finished up our second stay here. We stay in a tent site in the back of the park, it is nice and spacious, quiet, and away from the more busy area near the front. It is walking distance to the beach and to town which is nice. It is nice that there are bathrooms and showers but they could use some updating and cleaning for sure. We will continue coming back here each year

David C.

Yelp
If you like the smell of horse manure, absolutely rude staff, camping within 6 feet of anyone, and the idea of amenities without actually having any amenties... this is the place for you. The whole park has a waft of horse. The staff was stunningly rude and unhelpful. They have shut down all their claimed amenities due to thier interpretation of C19 rules. And the campsites are as small they can be, uneven, and the firepits look like somebody cleaned them out in the 90's.

Charli C.

Yelp
Save your money & the stress. This was the most expensive campsite I've ever had, and quite literally the worst. The sites are on top of each other. You could reach out and touch the camper in the next site from the fire pit which was full of trash and beer cans when we arrived. The owner has no idea how to run a business and the whole campground is a disaster. We booked with her over the phone since that's the only way. We let her know we would be coming with a 23' camper and my brother would be in a tent. Upon arrival, she told us that it was against CDC rules for us to have 2 camping units in one site (the tent and the camper) and that we all had to stay in the camper. We were super confused and asked her why she didn't tell us this over the phone and she just blew us off and said she didn't have anything in her notes about us telling her we had a tent...so implying that we were lying. Great business practice. We got to our "site" which was about 4x5 patch of grass with a tent on one side and an rv on the other. There was no way we could possibly fit there so we had to maneuver back to the office & deal with a the owner again. Why she put us in a tiny spot is beyond me. She moved us to a different spot that had enough room for a tent but she said she "couldn't budge on the rules because of covid" and that we absolutely could not have two camping units on one site. Again, this was confusing because I've been on a 2 week camping trip and no other campground has had these "CDC" rules. The next morning when I woke up, the site behind us had TWO tents set up....so the site behind us was allowed to have two units?! I went to the office to ask the owner what the deal was with these changing rules. She got all flustered when I called her out for saying that it was a CDC rule when obviously she was just making stuff up on the fly. She told me there wasn't room for a tent at our site but there was most certainly room for a tent and I told her that. She said, "I am the business owner, I will decide where a tent will fit!" I wish I had listened to all the bad reviews & saved myself $80 & a stressful encounter with an incompetent business owner.

Mike D.

Yelp
Horrible experience. Booked the trip well in advance as the tail end of a two-week trip. Tried to change the reservation because we experienced RV trouble and had to delay the trip two days. There was no availability on the revised day. Hence, we had no choice but to cancel the reservation and look for something else. At that time, we were informed that there is a TWO-WEEK cancelation policy to get a refund. That is absurd for people that make plans for any trip. Management was rude. I later called to explain that their own reservation conformation said that any changes made within 72 hours carried a $25 fee - NO EXCEPTIONS. I was yelled at through the phone to check the website under cancellation policies. I was then scolded and told that was for CHANGES. Not CANCELLATIONS. After reading other reviews on this platform, I should have never even considered this place. Please read the reviews. Please do not patronize this place and keep them in business.

Barbara N.

Yelp
This RV park was very poorly maintained with lots of over grown bushes and trees, tall grass, pot holes and the area to hook up the sewer was like a swamp. The staff was very disorganized and lacked customer service. I will not be going back. The only plus was the convenience to downtown Cannon Beach.

Adam L.

Yelp
STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I made a reservation 4 months in advance for a Memorial Day weekend for a specific spot and apparently that was a mistake. Drove 4.5 hrs to Cannon beach to get placed in completely different spot that was right next to the road and completely garbage. When I challenged it, the half shaved headed gal in the office offered me absolutely NOTHING to compensate their screwup! Definitely not with the price. You pay per site, per person, and probably per sq foot. Next time I'm in Cannon Beach I'm staying somewhere else.

Danielle R.

Yelp
Terrible customer service and refund policy. We had to leave early for a family emergency and they refused to refund the two nights we wouldn't be staying unless someone checked in and stayed those nights. The front desk woman was rude and very hard to deal with. They charged me extra for my kids and $48 for my dogs. Go to Wrights

Gail S.

Yelp
We paid a large price for RV parking with full hookups. They put us behind the office, with site that was perpendicular to someone else. We looked directly onto their site. They sold tent spaces right next to ours. Our site was only as wide as the vehicle. The store was closed with no way to get any supplies. It felt like they were just trying to fit as many spaces in their acreage to make more profit.

Richard C.

Yelp
I have gone here for years however a change of management has made it unusable. There are a few good rv sites here and it is close to the beach and downtown however my last trip my site was unusable. The managment is pooor.

James T.

Yelp
This place is a dive... If you plan to spend almost $100 a night for place to park your motorhome that doesn't have the amenities described, you've found the right place. There was no WiFi signal in #66 which is basically directly behind the check-in building. You could high-five your neighbor in the morning from your window and you might as well share fire pits because your so close. Our spot literally had a portion of our motorhome hanging out in the drive isle. With respect to the site connections, they are not configured logically, just water & power in the brush at the far end of the site. The black/grey tank connection has a riser basically making it unusable for our connection due to the elevation. With respect to the power, there is literally a 15amp receptacle with no GFCI protection , no water resistant rating which is a violation of the NEC. So do not plan or running your AC or possibly even your lights and microwave. So if your looking for a crappy spot to camp for the night, then look no further. I wish I'd read all of this negative reviews first but I failed to.

Jelena R.

Yelp
Giving one start for location- it is truly a walking distance to the Main Street in Cannon Beach. However we will not be staying there anymore, and I would like to list just facts, and will skip my subjective opinions: The front staff- the owner (lady who works and the front) chooses rude approach to the customers, and prefers to over/double charge you instead of checking in her computer whether you have already paid for the stay. 3 night stay for the full service site with 4 ppl will cost you $330. The sites are so small you cannot sit by the fire pit without being on the neighboring site space and the fire would be unsafe due to how close it is to the RV. Sites- overcrowded (see pictures) to the point you cannot extend your awning without touching the neighbor's RV. And it is at the owner's discretion which spot you will be designated during your stay. Bathrooms cleaning schedule is interesting- at 9am on Sunday, closed due to cleaning? Why not do it at 6 or 7am and so it on a most demanded time of the week? 9 am on Sunday- dumpsters are full with the lid not even closing. I get it that you cannot control when garbage provider would empty, but how about doubling the amount of cans? This is Not the only RV park in Cannon Beach- check out Cannon Beach RV resort- totally different experience and much much cheaper. Good luck

A N.

Yelp
Nice place. Peaceful. Nice walk to town and beach. Warning: They charge for pets. Needs to be maintained better. Blackberry, bamboo, weeds encroach on site. Wifi is iffy. In our site there was none. Office suggested we go to laundry room. Not going to happen in this day and age. We need to stay in touch with our business. This was a huge detriment but all in all worth it.

Danielle M.

Yelp
I thought to just not leave a review since the owner did let me know that they were struggling due to the pandemic, and I feel for them and although my first interaction with them over the phone was a little irritating and made me a little hesitant to book, I still wanted to give them a shot and support their business. Hopefully this review will get to the owners and maybe rethink the way they do things and make some changes in the way they run the park because they definitely have potential. Pros LOCATION- they are a few blocks away from the beach and stores and restaurants. Only about a 10-15 minute walk with pretty scenery and very quaint small beach town vibes. What they can improve on: -Having a brochure, map, WIFI info, etc to pass out to customers would be nice. We pulled in, took them 10 minutes to get our info, then went through whole list of Park "rules" but they failed to let us know about their basic amenities. -We didn't even get a WiFi password. -Not enough space between RV parkings, forget the 6ft rule. You're basically side by side with your neighbors. But the driveways are huge?? - WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. A week prior, over the phone the owner quoted me $75 with military discount if I book right that second with her. During this time, we haven't finalIzed our RV yet so I told her that I will confirm our RV reservation first and call her back because I'd hate to book our camp site only to find out our RV was not available. I called her 2 hours later and she said that military discount was "no longer valid". Not going to lie, that rubbed be the wrong way, but thought I'd still support their business, so I booked anyway it was close to $100 for one night-- which is insane! 4 adults and 2 dogs for one night in their full hook up. -they charge additional PER person after the first 2 and PER dog. It was the most expensive RV site during our ENTIRE Oregon Trip with the least amount of amenities and not the friendliest encounter. I hope the owner reads this and makes changes to the park! It was our first time in Cannon Beach and loved the area but I'm not sure we will stay here again. Anyway, I hope the best for them!

Tom M.

Yelp
The lady scheduling is beyond rude. She needs a customer service class. She said she was the owner and if that's the case I don't understand how she is still in business. Cancellation policy is a joke too. Run far away from this lady and her RV park!

Jen M.

Yelp
Atrocious customer service from the self-proclaimed owner of the park. She hung up on me twice after calling me a liar because I tried to book two sites for myself and our friend. If you've watched Seinfeld and remember "the soup nazi," that will give you an inkling of how this woman treats her potential guests. No exaggeration! Thankful for all the other reviews which helped me see that this is a long established pattern of horrible behavior from this woman. We will be booking our trip elsewhere. Update: After cancelling our reservation (2 days after booking) she charged us a 1 night cancellation fee "for her trouble" despite there being no warning of this and no info about this on the website. Beware!!!!!

Jayme B.

Yelp
We love this spot. Walkable to the beach. Friendly. Clean. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!

Eric S.

Yelp
Weird layout for campground. WiFi spotty at best. If you go in not expecting the store, sauna, horse rides or massage being open You will be ok. It is in cannon beach. So I guess that's a plus

Mike E.

Yelp
No internet booking! I can not believe their website does not allow booking online. You have to call, and I've tried multiple times to reach someone to try to make a reservation. Sea Ranch, it's 2020. Update your website so we can reserve a cabin online

Tina K.

Yelp
I don't know if this place is under new management or what but the lady that checked us in was rude, we showed up to park at 1:10 and were told that we could not park until 1:30 even though check in was at 1:00. We have been here multiple times and always enjoyed it but this was a terrible experience. She also parked us in a spot that did not fit our 26 foot trailer and our truck even though we informed her of our size when we booked the spot. Extremely irritated and disappointed in the service that was provided.

Alexys F.

Yelp
Haven't even been to the campsite yet which is why I gave them an extra star. We booked for Memorial Day weekend 3 night minimum stay which is fine. But the woman who works the front desk is EXTREMELY rude. The first woman that helped me to book was very nice and accommodating, but she did not mention that all people in my party must have the same last name. I even gave her my boyfriend and I's names. I called to change my party number and she said since we didn't all have the same last names, each person must book their own sites. WHAT A SCAM. the woman kept talking over me and was practically yelling at me that they have had that rule for a very long time. So why was I not informed of it when I booked?? Could not believe how rude the woman was. I told her we wanted to change the party to 4 people IN TOTAL instead of 2. She asked me 4 times if I was bringing 6 people. I swear she was doing it on purpose. Very nervous for our trip. I think we'll have a nice time but if the woman is at that front desk when we check in and she's rude, I will give her my two cents. Ugh! Frustrating.

Tess S.

Yelp
1. We made a reservation for three spots right next to each other a year in advance. They changed one of our spots without notice and only told us when we got there (after driving 6 hours). We no longer needed our tent spot but we could not get a refund- but even though we paid for the spot, they rented it to someone else! 2. One of our friends got locked out of the cabin. Total bummer moment- but when she went to the office, they were annoyed at her and wouldn't help. They proceeded to say they didn't have a master key. My friend ended up having her son crawl through the window. 3. They did not have any WiFi access. 4. No laundry facilities as advertised- I had to go to the next town over. 5. $7 dollars for ice- what the heck!!!??? On a positive note- they do have clean restrooms and at least they don't make you pay for showers. Such a shame because it's such a great location and wonderful town. However, we will NEVER be staying here again.

Lynn D.

Yelp
Good location to beach. Bathrooms were cleaned. Not impressed with anything else. Made reservations 6 months in advance. We were told our kids could put a tent up next to our RV site. When we checked in we were told the tent would cost us xtra $120 for 3 nights. Charged us xtra $24 for our 2 kids. $12 xtra for their car. $16 for pet. Grand total $439 for 4 nights. Most expensive camping site we ever paid in over 20 years of camping. Even though they advertise a general store. It was closed.

Michael M.

Yelp
Carmen, the piece of work that was at the desk attempted charging me $55 for pitching a tent next to a horse stable. I told her I am hiking the Oregon Coast Trail and sleeping in a tent for a month, she dropped her price to $42. This place is worth $10. If I hadn't walked forty miles to get there I would have told her to fuck herself.

Yelp
Well, the reviews say it all. It's not anyone's first choice in Cannon Beach. I will say, the access to the beach is great. It's a 5 min walk to the edge of town and 4 minutes on a trail to the beach. We had # 8. We were promised full hookups. We have 15 amp service. The black water drain for our neighbor is under their picnic table. The customer service is short at best. There's some attitude. They sell wood and ice here. We probably won't come back unless we can stay somewhere else. We loved the beach! Beautiful Long Beach walks!

Yelp
Stay Away! Sea Ranch RV Resort was the worst experience!! The owner was not just rude and paranoid, no, she was MEAN (see below). The site was so small we had our neighbors of 15 or so people in a circle just outside our RV door (they were nice! so we were OK with that), the bushes were overgrown and site extremely narrow, the lady was paranoid about everything with emphatic hard core signs about what NOT to do EVERYWHERE! Remember the Soup Nazi episode on Seinfeld?? The worst of this experience was arriving 40 minutes early because there was literally nowhere for an RV to stop on an EXTREMELY busy August weekend. Our site was empty but she would not allow us to go into it or wait anywhere inside where there was ample other room to wait, as if anything needed to be done to our site. Why? Cleaning. Sorry, but no. You didn't clean it. There was no one in the site even the day before when we drove through with just our truck to look. You didn't touch this site for cleaning. There was nothing to clean. You are just plain MEAN-SPIRITED!!!! Have you ever tried to maneuver a 45 foot (truck/trailer) vehicle through extremely narrow streets filled with cars and people and nowhere to stop? STRESSFUL!! I had to ask the police to stop traffic so I could turn right in town center, after just running over a curb and bush. This lady knows what Cannon Beach is like, SHE KNEW BUT DENIED US ENTRY BUT SHE DIDN'T CARE!!! This was likely the busiest day of the year due to a major volleyball championship in Seaside. Gridlock! The site cost us $91 without even sewer hookup. It was pathetic. Lady, if you ever arrive somewhere early for a room or site that is empty and available but they won't let you and your injured dog in, then you have achieved 1/100th of the karma that you deserve. But if they intentionally cause you stressful circumstances that freak you out just so they can exert their power over you without compassion, you will start approaching your karma. Yes, I know you told us early arrivals are your policy, but there literally was NOWHERE to park and our spot was available, and we were barely early!!!! This would have cost you nothing. Do you understand Karma? Compassion? Have you ever experienced kindness? After 1 harrowing trip through town and we were still 20 minutes early, and after I explained what had just happened to us and was SHAKING MAD due to the stress of driving our new Airstream and truck through that craziness, you STILL told me to go away and come back in 20 minutes whereas I told you absolutely NOT. You can give me my money back now! I was LIVID that anyone would be so MEAN and unempathetic. You gave me every "reason" in the book, but it was all BULL. ONLY THEN did you say I could wait in the open area until our site was ready. Did you do anything to that site? No! You're just that special kind of person. Good riddance to you! You deserve all of the nasty reviews that are left about your business. Every single one of them. We confirmed your reputation with other campers while were there. It is primarily this one short lady, black hair (the owner?), the managers are supposedly nice. Even so, stay away everyone, do not support unkind people. Ironic that I was wearing a t-shirt the day before about such people. Mean people suck!

Yelp
Avoid, avoid, avoid. If you ever have to stay at this place, be sure to bring your own paper towels and toilet paper, since in the four nights I stayed here, they ran out of these three times. Be prepared to pay $4 a night per dog as well. Very expensive for what you get... $40 per night for a tiny campsite. We could hear people whispering in their tents since we were less than 5 feet from both of our neighbors' tents. The staff are fairly friendly, but definitely overworked. Management needs to make major changes before I even consider coming back here. Do yourself a favor and camp at Wright's Campground across town instead. Anything would be better than this place.

Yelp
What started out as a great weekend with family, went sideways quickly. Arrived late on day one, and it was too dark to see anything let alone the signs for where our space was, so we decided to wait until the next morning to use the hookups we paid for. Where are the hookups? A tree that fell more than likly in the winter had fallen over and on to our hookups. The was a nice site hand that helped us with a hose and electric cord (plugged into someone else's site) He offered apologies and that we could speak to the owner or a partial refund. So before hitting the beach we did only to discover the person wasnt the owner. So this morning upon checking out we started talking to the person we were talking to the day before, only to have another lady (not identifying herself) as owner. "What's the matter just because I'm latino I can't own a business?" puzzled and pissed we tried explaining that the other girl was the person we were talking to and had you introduced as a professional and not a biggot, this review would've been different, but here we are. All she offered was $5 for not being able to use the amenities for one day. I explained to that i would be in contact with BOLI and necessary departments so this rectified. Oh and a dispute of the charge to our card. AVOID this place, just because it's closer to the beach DOESN'T mean its better!

Yelp
Full of geese and goslings to look at! Bunnies and rabbits are hopping everywhere! Horses and deer to see! Beautiful flowers! %100 magical. BUT: overpriced! I'd give it four stars but I wanted to really emphasize how great the wildlife was!

Yelp
Terrible place to camp. Spaces are far too small and packed together. No privacy. Twinkle lights surrounded our shitty spot that stayed on all night long making it difficult to sleep. Roads are narrow making maneuvering a truck and rv difficult. Plus, they advertise FREE WiFi, however, that's only in a limited area in the center of the park. Don't stay here unless you have to.

Yelp
This was the worst "camping"/"cabin" experience I've ever had. We stayed on two separate occasions--we should have cancelled after our first night. It was $110/night for my family, we stayed in a "large" cabin. It was my parents, myself, and a 3 year old. They charged us for extra people, renting a SPACE heater, and on our second time around, they came by in the morning to tell us they had under-charged us and needed more money ($20). They also told this to another group we were with (and collected an extra $110). Cushioned between the stay at the "park" was a visit to the Fort Steven's Yurts. Much better price, much larger space, and closer to the beach. So, to spell it out a little more: *Unwelcoming staff *Expensive ($110+) a night--you could rent a hotel for that price! *Bring your own bedding (I'm totally OK with that, but for $110+ a night?!) *Water pressure in the shower was terrible (and it leaked everywhere) *Hot water ran out after 5 MINUTES *Noisy (there is less than 10 ft. between cabins/tent sites/RV sites) *EXTREMELY SMALL (our large cabin was 12ft X 12ft) with a double bunk and futon. It was CRAMPED. *They don't own up to their own mistakes. Coming by the next morning to say your lady at check-in had made a mistake and checked us in for $20/under is YOUR mistake, not OURS. Especially on an empty MONDAY MORNING, you should take from good customer service and taken responsibility for your own mistake. *Prices on the website are NOT updated--false advertising. If you HAD to book here because everything else was filled in town, I can understand that rationale. However, I hope you don't have to... Trust this review and the others, look EVERYWHERE else you can before booking here.

Yelp
For the Memorial Day weekend, we stayed at Sea Ranch in Cannon Beach. Most people stay here with RV's, trailers or tents. What we did was rent one of their on-site cabins. It was awesome. Here's why: 1. Cabin is heated. It gets cold there 2. Private toilet and shower. The shared ones are nasty. 3. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave. No camp stove or cooler needed 4. Nice thick walls. No need to hear camping neighbours 5. Walk to town. Cannon Beach is beautiful little village. 6. Price. It is a bargain. Under $80 per night. Only bad taste was from the biker wannabees (harley shirts and hats but drove a shitbox pickup) in the campsite across from us who played Meatloaf and drank beer all night. In Canada they are called "hosers". You don't get to choose your neighbours. It is, after all, a trailer park.

Yelp
I didn't want to believe all the reviews but I can't say this was a great experience....we showed up late at night to the campsite I reserved and there was another camper already there.. they double booked the site. Luckily, the campers next to us were super nice and let us put our tent in their site. It was then a pain in the ass to get a refund. I had to physically go back to the campsite office two days later and demand a refund because they wouldn't call me back about it. The lady was rude and acted like I was lying until I showed her proof. But she did give me a refund so that was nice!

Yelp
TENT CAMPERS BEWARE!!! They charge you per sleeping unit. We stayed on one camp site and had my husbands teenage sister come with us as a last minute addition. She had her own two person tent. On the same camp site - we had to pay $33 per tent. So for the 3 of us to sleep on the same camp site - it was $132 for the weekend (double what we already paid). A full RV hook up is $40. How in the world does it figure that a tent will use up as much resources and space as an RV. Never, ever coming back here.

Yelp
I took my gf here to try horseback riding for the first time for her b-day. It was lots of fun!!! They don't take phone reservations, so it's first come, first serve. We stopped by in the morning to sign up for a ride later that afternoon. The guides were friendly and helped us out when our horses would stop to chow down on the grasses along the way. We trotted out to the beach and then moseyed on over to Haystack Rock. The ride lasted a little over an hour and was well worth it. cash only.

Yelp
Really just a bad place with disorganized people and the horse people there are the worst. Please don't pay money for these rides. Horses are not kept well and this is not a good establishment

Yelp
We tented three nights mid August. We didn't look around for other campgrounds, but this one was okay since we were only using it for accommodations while exploring the general area in the daytime. Pros - accommodating a site switch due to a last minute cancellation, so we didn't have to relocate sites in back to back nights - nice dish washing station with soap provided - separate family accessible washrooms - treed grounds Cons - rigid rules, like not selling ice/wood after 9, despite the office still being open - an additional $3 per person fee over two people? Including kids? - low shower heads - inconsistent tent sites. Some appear to be not even 6x6 feet (some are really nice though)

Yelp
Thumbs down in almost all regards. Particularly disappointing: - The sizing of the sites is very uneven. Though we paid the same rate as the other RVs, we were put into a TINY site that barely fit our tent trailer. The site beside us was generously sized, and we felt we were perched on the edge of someone else's site, with no privacy or room to set-up properly. The woman at the front desk was not especially helpful, though I will credit her with apologizing, as even she recognized how terrible our site was. - The quiet hours were not enforced. There were loud partiers across from us until 12:30 AM, despite quiet time being posted as 10 PM. - The advertised wi-fi is not usable. I traversed the entire campground trying to get a strong enough signal to send a work email, to no avail. - The bathrooms are dirty. While it was nice to be within walking distance to Cannon Beach, this did not outweigh all the negatives. I was relieved to leave and would not stay here again.
