Sea Salt & Chocolate

Amazing! We had salted caramel chocolate cake, which was exceptional, and hot chocolate. It was so good we bought cheesecake to take home. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. The door was a bit stiff going in - give it a good push, you don't want to miss this place!

A must-visit cake shop in Amsterdam! We recently went on a short vacation to Amsterdam and stumbled upon Sea Salt & Chocolate, a delightful cake shop that stays open until 22:00, making it perfect for late-night sweet cravings. On our first visit, we tried the blueberry cheesecake and passionfruit cheesecake, and they were super delicious! We couldn't resist, so we went back the same evening for takeaways. This time, we took their signature salted caramel chocolate cake, carrot pecan cake and some red velvet cookies for our day trip the next day. Everything was absolutely delicious! Remarkably, the cakes were incredibly fresh even in the evening before closing, just as if they were just made. Our love for this place didn't stop there. We visited again the next evening to try their red velvet cake, a coconut cake and another cake I can't remember the name of, but it was just as delicious. Each cake was better than the last, making it hard to choose a favorite. Sea Salt & Chocolate is a gem in Amsterdam and I highly recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth. We will definitely return to try more of their cookies and bread that we couldn't fit into this trip. Five stars all the way!

I ordered via Uber Foods and everything was packed perfectly. The most tasty were chocolate bread and banana bread. Cheesecake and red velvet are a little sweet to me. But anyway absolutely worth it!

Cakes are good. Coffee not so good. The cafe just feels weird. Nobody greets you, you don’t really know if you have to go order or if someone will take your order. Updating my review: I usually do not sit at the cafe but often take the cake out as I live very close by. Banana bread is good, spéculos cheese cake is delicious, and red velvet pop cakes as well. But yesterday I went to get a slice of banana bread and was really disappointed by the size of the banana bread. Every week it is getting smaller, and yesterday it was just ridiculous. If it continues like that I’ll stop coming by.

YUM!!!!!! I sampled a slice of red velvet cake, carrot cake, and chocolate mouse cheesecake and they were all amazing. Unfortunately for me, it was my last night in town. I wish I would have known about it sooner so I could have tried more!!!

Don’t mind paying much for there amazing cakes, but this time a very rude girl helped me. She told me they couldn’t provide bd candles, which isn’t true. Also charging for text. Absolutely no problem , but this …??? See picture!

A cute cake shop and cafe around the corner. Their red velvet cake is a specialty in the shop. The bitterness is a nice balance with the sweetness. They didn’t have the red velvet cheesecake when we went there so we ordered the strawberry cheesecake. It was very nice! Strawberry jam is always a nice addition to cheesecake. The pecan tart is a bit too sweet and nutty for me though.

Sea Salt & Chocolate delivered a red velvet cake to our Hotel for my wife's 40th Birthday. The cake was amazing. Not too sweet and the frosting was perfect. My wife is very specific about frosting, and she said that there was nothing to add to it. We ate the whole cake the same day! We live in Berlin but next time we come, we will visit your cake shop and eat all other cakes! Thank you so much.
