Food & Bars: The main restaurant was good, and there are three à-la-carte restaurants. For stays of 3 nights or more, one dinner at an à-la-carte restaurant is supposed to be included, but online booking only allows it from 7 nights. After asking, staff helped us book, but unfortunately they reserved the second-to-last night instead of our final evening. ➜ Positive note: They handled the mistake very well, and we were allowed to enjoy the dinner on our last evening after all. Bars were good. Service: Friendly and helpful throughout. Room & Facilities: Babymoon gift was unfortunately an alcoholic bottle of wine. Our private pool required cleaning on request and was extremely cold, making it unusable—the public pool and the sea were much better. Technical & Cleanliness Issues: Weak Wi-Fi, drinks not replenished, and numerous power outages—almost a dozen in total. Most lasted around 5 seconds, several up to 2–3 minutes, and on our last day, while packing, the power failed completely. The toilet also began to bubble and smelled of sewage afterwards. Overall: Good food and friendly service, but far too many technical and organizational issues for a 5-star resort. Because we booked a private pool suite, the price was absolutely not worth it.

Having spent two weeks at Sea Side, my husband and I were both very impressed.||We had a sea view room and the views were really pretty spectacular. The setting and grounds are really special.||Everybody that I interacted with from the hotel team was lovely and a pleasure to deal with. Kostantina, Denys, Stella, Nikoleta, David, Dimitris and Filipos are a few of the names I wrote down but there were more!||Pool areas were very nice as well with plenty of loungers available. Even though it was full, we could easily get loungers at any time of day.||Food was very good. I generally don’t particularly like buffets but this one was great. Loads of choice and variation. Quality was very good too. The desserts were beautifully presented as well.||The a la cartes were also very good and we had six visits included as we were staying two weeks. We visited each twice. Important to know that you do pay for alcohol in these restaurants, but the wine selection was good and not unreasonably priced. Also they book up quickly - you reserve a table via the hotel app you download when you arrive.||Location was great - short walk down to a nice beach with good snorkelling and an excellent taverna (Vasilis). Walking to Agia Pelagia took half an hour or so.||I’d say the room was fine - comfortable enough but I didn’t find it anything special. We didn’t spend much time in it so it did the job and was kept very clean.||The only area that would have really improved my stay is around the smoking policy, which I felt was overly relaxed in pool and outdoor bar areas. I would have liked to see designated smoking areas.||Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Summer Escape – Suite 111||This was our third visit to the hotel, having previously stayed in both the Rock Suite and Swim-Up rooms. However, the Summer Suite 111 is simply on another level. The space, private pool, facilities, and views felt like pure indulgence. For sun lovers, this suite is unbeatable, with sunshine from 08:00 until 16:30 daily — something you don’t get in the Rock Suites along the front.||Dining|Dining here is always a highlight. Umi is outstanding — the sea bass is genuinely one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten, made even more memorable by the breathtaking setting as the sun set over the sea. The main restaurant consistently offered fresh, high-quality food, and we never struggled to find variety. We also enjoyed Oregano and Minoan, both excellent in their own right.||Staff|The staff are the reason we return year after year. The Pelagos pool bar team are fantastic and remembered us from previous visits. Every single cleaner greeted us with a smile and a “good morning,” and the lady who looked after our suite was exceptional — leaving us flowers and keeping everything immaculate throughout our stay.||Gym - excellent facilities and classes beautiful scenery.||Overall|A truly unforgettable experience in every way. Already looking forward to returning next year

I stayed at Sea Side A Lifestyle Resort for a week, and it was truly one of the best holiday experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the professionalism of the staff. Every single person I met was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, which made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing – such a wide variety every day, with fresh, delicious options that catered to all tastes. I especially enjoyed the local dishes, but everything I tried was excellent. It felt like dining in a top-class restaurant every single day. The resort itself is beautiful, modern, and perfectly maintained. Overall, my stay at Sea Side A Lifestyle Resort was nothing short of perfect. The combination of outstanding staff, fantastic food, and stunning surroundings made it an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to come back, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly amazing holiday!

Aesthetically Amazing and Great Service|This hotel is absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views and an atmosphere that makes it feel truly special. The food was outstanding — both the à la carte and buffet options were of a very high standard, and the desserts in particular were the best we’ve experienced at any hotel, easily matching what you’d find in top restaurants. We also loved the convenience of being able to contact reception via WhatsApp and using the app to book restaurants, which worked brilliantly.|The staff made our stay unforgettable. Special thanks to Mara, Maria, Dimitrus, Denys, Athina, Filapos, and Paloma for their warmth and attention to detail. Paloma in particular was so friendly and thoughtful — on her last day she even came to find us to say goodbye with a hug, which was such a lovely personal touch and a true credit to the hotel. Elina also deserves a big shoutout for her amazing cocktails, and the Thalassa bar team (Dimitrus and Maria) were an absolute dream team. Denys was a true gentleman, remembering our order every evening without us needing to ask — such an outstanding touch.|There were a couple of small negatives. On arrival, our welcome drink was unfortunately missed, and when we queried this, the response at reception could have been handled more kindly. Housekeeping, while friendly, was inconsistent. On two occasions the cleaner entered without announcing herself and, as she spoke limited English, it was difficult to ask her to return later. On our final day, before we had officially checked out, she was very determined to clean the room and we felt pressured to leave earlier than intended. We did raise this with reception and Annia noted our feedback and apologised, but her initial manner came across as slightly dismissive.|Additionally, our private pool was only cleaned once during a 10-day stay, and the glass overlooking the cliffs wasn’t cleaned at all. Coffee pods and toiletries were also not consistently replenished. While the cliffside setting is beautiful, it does mean that some rooms aren’t completely private due to the layout. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but it would be helpful if this was made clearer when booking.|Overall, despite these minor points, the positives far outweighed any negatives. We had a wonderful time, felt genuinely looked after by the amazing team, and would 100% come back again

I had a fantastic stay at this resort in Crete. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful with anything we needed. When we asked if it was possible to get a room that would be more comfortable for three people, they ended up upgrading us to a better room with a private pool — which was a wonderful surprise. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with plenty of variety and good quality. One of the things I appreciated most was how peaceful the atmosphere was. Even during the busier hours at the pools, it never felt crowded or noisy. Everything about the place felt relaxed and well taken care of, making it a truly enjoyable and refreshing vacation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway with great service.

Simply stunning! Absolutely fantastic stay for 9 days on our honeymoon! We loved every minute..... delicious food, always varied on the buffet. We simply loved our visit to umi and David the manager and the team made the night match the amazing food and wine. We also have to mention freedom in the buffet restaurant she looked after us like friends. The food at the Greek taverna was also fantastic and so was the service. Our room was beautiful and the place spotless. The beach is rocky but pleasant and the little bars lovely to walk too. |We will definitely go back, we loved every minute. It was simply perfect for our honeymoon and the gift left for us was beautiful.

The resort itself is lovely, unfortunately for us we were room catfished (hence the deduction in stars), the advertising pictures did not match what we got, clearly mixed with other rooms as we saw the rooms they related to - very disappointing as it was our honeymoon and we thought we’d booked a luxurious room but it was mid at best. It would have been fine for a normal holiday but not what we envisaged for our honeymoon. We made the best of it but it was hard to swallow down the disappointment, the resort was fully booked when we went so we knew there was no option to move rooms. ||That being said, the resort is lovely and all of the staff were great - in particular Stella in the main buffet dining area! The food is of a very high standard with plenty of options for eating on the healthier side and also indulging, it was the best food we’ve had on holiday.||There is a lovely coastal area just outside the resort where you can walk and enjoy beautiful views and air conditioned buses go to the hotel that will get you to Heraklion, a lovely city and well worth visiting - we went several times in the two weeks we were there. If you want to rent a boat, which is available on the attached beach, then suggest you booking in advance to avoid disappointment.||I did see a review about all cocktails not being included in all inclusive, that is true but the if you download the app when you arrive you will find you get notifications saying you can enjoy all for free on certain days - we didn’t partake but had that notification at least half of the days of the holiday.
