We had an incredible time here. The rooms offer spectacular views, and are very clean. The staff is fantastic. They were incredibly attentive to every detail and so very accommodating. They even made a fruit salad special for us (without us even asking) to accommodate some food allergies. If you are looking for a place to stay in Camps Bay, you cannot go wrong with Sea Star Rocks!

We as a family of three, including our 21 year old daughter, had the pleasure once again to spend 4 beautiful days at Seastar Rocks in the Private Pool suite and another pool room last month April 2025. We always get a warm welcome from reception to the everyday catering and cleaning staff. Always a friendly smiling face that greets us.They are always informative, extremely helpful, whether it’s about an extra bed needed in a suite, in our case having storing of a cake in a bigger fridge, to every single day having the option of a la cart full warm breakfast to all the delectable options on the buffet table of fresh fruits in the fruit salad, bread rolls,cheeses and the list just goes on. The manager Felix even arranged to provide non dairy milk for my daughter as she has allergies. From the beautiful and creative interiors to the views, it’s an absolute pleasure to always stay there whenever we visit CapeTown. Our rooms were fully equipped with everything we needed and we could have our morning cuppas at our private pool. How awesome that was.They have great recommendations to restaurants, beauty and massage service providers which is a plus. And they are located right at an entrance to hike Table Mountain. So if you’re looking for a full packaged boutique hotel that offers a great bed and breakfast, a safe, secure, tranquil ,beautiful, accessible environment, please book Seastar Rocks from the Seastar Collection. You will become a return patron like we have.

Could not ask for a better location to stay when visiting Camps Bay. The views from the rooms are unparalleled and the staff goes above and beyond. The breakfast served every morning was fresh and delicious. There was also ample parking everyday and the hotel is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood.

This place is perfect for relaxing in the Summer South African sunshine |We arrived to a breathtaking view of camps bay! |Room was ready and they had made reservations for us at local restaurants ||We had the pool mostly to ourselves with two large Sun beds. It was like having our own villa ! ||Have to say the best part of our stay was the amazing team. Felix the manager went out of his way to make our stay memorable. George, Helena and Walter and the other staff members were also great. ||We had a wonderful breakfast each morning and afternoon tea when the sun got too hot! Room was cleaned each day and there were plenty of amenities in the room. ||Nothing was too much trouble and we will be returning. |We had a nice walk each day down to Camps Bay, which is very vibrant. However the hotel was quiet and we slept very very well |This place really is perfect for those who want a beach holiday or for those who want to hike Table Mountain or Lions Head.

Absolutely out of this world! Based up in Camps Bay this hidden secret takes your breath away!|Our Room was very spaceous, Breakfast was perfect we overate ourselves every day 😁 Staff was amazing, i sometimes felt as if they are friends of us. They planned our Restaurants and Wine Trips. We even met a lot of kind other Guests who are mostly internationals.|Will be back in early 2026, thats for sure.

I wish I could write a glowing review of this place, but unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We stayed at Sea Star Rocks expecting a peaceful and secure getaway, but instead, we were robbed while sleeping in our room. At some point during the night, intruders entered our room and stole valuables including electronics and personal items. The idea that someone could violate our privacy and safety so easily is beyond disturbing and whilst the establishment is being advertised with 24/7 security. A place that claims to be luxury accommodation should prioritise guest safety, but Sea Star Rocks completely failed in this regard.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay over Christmas. Our room had amazing views, was spacious, clean and luxurious. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, great hospitality. So easy to get Ubers down to Camps Bay and beyond. Free parking and felt very safe and secure. Would love to stay again. Thank you Sea Star team!

The view is to die for, the service is excellent, unforgettable! The staff is helpful and very friendly. We are still reeling from the experience. As a group, we were well looked after and the place is neat and tidy. We were welcomed like true royalty. The experience was like a home, away from home! A true Cape Town gem! I recommend this establishment.
