Sea Wave Hotel

The location is amazing—literally walking distance from Beppu Station, which makes it easy to find once you get off the train. The amenities are great, the room is spacious, and the staff are very helpful. The only downside is the bed; it was hard and a bit uncomfortable, especially if you're staying for more than one night. Still, I would stay here again because I love the hotel's location.

I had problems with my reservation and the staff were really unhelpful. The website that I used to reserve with was on the wrong, but the staff was really adamant to let me deal with it by myself. It was complicated and I succeeded to get my room, but I’m far from satisfied of the service.

Convenient location, next to Beppu Station and near Toyota Rent-a-car. Room a little small but still manageable. Nice view of the sea from the distance, managed to catch a pleasant sunrise.

Just opposite JR and bus station, the location is superb. The Onsen is great, the breakfast is good. Even their dinner which serves Beppu famous dishes is great. Surprised there weren’t more people eating dinner there.

Excellent stay, room is very spacious , breakfast is very sorted of Japanese options, onsen is really good and comfortable . The location is quite convenient just in front of the train station, less than 2 minutes on foot. Fully worth for families and solo travelers .

This hotel is very cost effective. Also, the facilities and amenities are provided perfectly! I would love to stay there again.

This hotel appears to have been built pre 2000. It shows its age. Nonetheless, the some equipment such as elector have been renewed. The hot spring is nice and the facility is clean and organized. I selected the dinner and breakfast plan. Dinner was nicely presented and delicious. Breakfast spread was nice and plentiful.

Book incorrectly a smoking room. Luckily, the check in stag was kind enough to change to nonsmoking room. There is in house Onsen. Breakfast is typical Japanese varieties and good. Hotel can be seen from rain platform… it’s just 2 mins walk from jR Beppu station and right there is he bus terminal
