Sea World

Shekou Sea World isn’t just a sightseeing spot—it’s a lifestyle hub with a great mix of food, entertainment, and waterfront vibes. After a relaxing stroll around the iconic Minghua ship, we decided to have dinner at Grissini Kitchen, one of the many restaurants lining the vibrant plaza. The location was spot on—right by the ship, with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating options. We chose to sit indoors for comfort but still had a clear view of the Sea World promenade, which comes alive at night with lights, music, and people out enjoying the scene. Grissini Kitchen offers hearty Western comfort food, and we ordered pasta, pizza, and grilled items. Everything was satisfying—flavors were familiar and portions generous. The kids enjoyed the cheesy pizza while I loved the creamy truffle pasta. Service was friendly and unrushed, letting us soak in the atmosphere. What makes dining here special is the overall Sea World experience. It’s more than just the food—it’s the waterfront setting, the music echoing through the plaza, and the energy of locals and expats mingling in a relaxed, open space. Definitely a great way to spend the evening in Shekou.

A gigantic area that is full of eateries, offering a wide range of Chinese cuisines and foods from various countries (e.g. Turkish, Korean, Thai, Japanese, German, American, Mexican). The square also features numerous food stalls. There's always something happening, such as balloons vendors and musical performances, making it an interesting place to visit. It's connected to the waterfront, where you can watch a beautiful sunset and visit the cultural museum. We enjoyed the visit very much. The Turkish restaurant is fantastic.

A part of South Shenzhen to walk around with plenty of restaurants, cafe's, shops and a cinema. It's along the water so it has a great view. There are a handful of international restaurants here with some people speaking English to help foreigners.

At night it comes to live with great water shows and nice restaurants.

A perfect place for a walk. Many people are spending their time in the vibrant light.

As others have said, this would be a great place to chill and eat/drink with friends and family during the weekend or evenings. Unfortunately, we came when it was raining, and there really weren't that many places accessible without being exposed to the rain. I guess having an umbrella would have been better. It didn't hide the potential of the place for a meal or drinks

SEAWORLD 5EVER Lots of options for food, love going to the same hotpot place again and again coz it’s just that good. There’s a big boat what’s not too love, there’s also many bars, there’s a pub called George and the dragon, the Thai music bar has live music and an incredible band with excellent energy! 20 years ago it was about the boat. Now it's all about what is around the boat! A completely new quarter with museum, shopping mall, restaurants, bars, park, dock, motorboat games, extensive seafront walks, international hotels and more. What a change. I ♥️ China 🥰
