I popped here on my own (without any children!) to take an hour for myself after a very hectic and stressful week. It’s small and cosy but also gives off elegant vibes - it feels like it would be great for all sorts of occasions from parties to date night, to drinks and dinner with friends. I went for a mocha and they were accommodating with my specific order (easy on the coffee and more on the chocolate) which was appreciated, plus I’d heard they do great coffees and they seem to take it seriously which is great. I ordered the sourdough and seaweed butter which was hearty - too much for me to eat on my own! I was worried that I’d still be hungry as I ordered a small plate - the crab tagliatelle - but it was perfect. Crab tagliatelle is one to order for sure. Buttery, generous amounts of crab, enough chilli to balance it out and the pasta was excellent. It’s Saturday early afternoon and the weather is terrible. It’s not busy at all, which I just don’t understand as this is the first place I’d run to for lunch on a day like today!

Friendly & welcoming service , sat in the garden which I highly recommend in the summer . Spicy margaritas I haven’t been able to stop thinking about and the food was fresh and tasty , had I had time to stay longer would have loved to have tried more of the menu

Ticks all the boxes as far as I'm concerned, uber chilled, friendly staff and interesting food and drinks... The selfish side of me is a little bit loathed to promote Seabird, booking a table might become a bit harder... It's all very good, but a special mention about the cocktails, they're fascinating and outrageously good, too good, if you know what I mean...

We had such a lovely experience here. The drinks and food were excellent. The vibe is amazing. Best food we've had in a long while. Can't wait to return.

Delicious food and fantastic cocktails although the rhubarb fool wasn’t as good as I was expecting compared to the instagram image. There were no discerning layers and it was a bit sloppy and watery even though it tasted good. The service staff member was lovely and attentive however there was a woman , obviously a friend of the owner/chef with a dog which put us and our fellow diners off a little, especially when she went to the loo with the dog and left the door open, which was right next to our table. I guess it was a bit unprofessional to have a friend in the restaurant that was shouting “up, down , sit” very loudly to a dog whilst people are dining. We didn’t get a thank you or goodbye from the owner when we left. Would have been nice to at least acknowledge your Customers on a quiet Wednesday evening. Perhaps we are a bit old fashioned? I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years , perhaps I’m too formal but Seabird shouldn’t slack when it comes to customer service as businesses can fail as quickly as they succeed unless they keep an eye on good customer care. Maybe it was just a one off ? We would return as the food and cocktails were really good.
