There's a Grill food cafe in the market. When I ordered, both the menu and the cashier told me the half Baugus Ini-Wow value meal was $13.99. But at checkout I was charged $17.55. I questioned it, and she brushed it off as “tax.” After paying, I saw on the receipt that $13.99 had been changed to $15.99. Check attached photos. No wonder she was tapping the screen for so long—she manually changed the price! Very dishonest and disgusting practice. Stay away!

I went here yesterday for the 1st time ever an ended up leaving with some watermelon and some chowmein noodles put the melon in the fridge yesterday night went in the fridge today cleaned it off an cut it to be completely disappointed the melon was mushy like I had been frozen an thawed a few times an the taste was that of a wine almost completely 🤢 from touching and examining it seemed fine until I cut it... Can be mad at the whole store I just lost 6 bucks so I'm gonna just recommend you don't buy any watermelon from there an if you do it's at your own risk .....

Great Asian/Filipino supermarket that has a lot going for it. It has its own bakery shop inside (Red Ribbon) and a fast food place to eat. That place serves very good rice dishes and delicacies at a very reasonable price. The supermarket itself boast a variety of items, Asian/Filipino snacks, drinks, condiments, great selection of meat, vegetables, seafood and fruits. This is a fun place to get your groceries.

They open at 8am but LBC is open at 9am everyday. For this season LBC has a promotion of $55 for an extra large box.

This is a Filipino Supermarket nestled on Norwalk Blvd a shy away from the 91 freeway. Within this supermarket are two food courts. Grill City to where you can pick any combination meals from Pork, Beef, Chicken and Fish. It has BBQ stall to where they cook either Pork, Chicken and Fish that you can include in your combination orders. All combinations have rice for those rice eaters. They do have a lot of choices cooked the Filipino way. The other one is Red Ribbon it is a bakery serving sumptuous Filipino cakes and pastries. The parking is great at night as it is bright and is spaced a car and a half away from each slot so you don't need to worry about people hitting your car side panel and ding it. There's lots of disabled slots as well. Did I mention that this place is close to Bank of America and Polly's Pies?

If you some Filipino grocery item, this is place to visit. Lots of different selection ranging from produce, meat, seafoods and many more. Just a heads up when showing, check the dates of the item before buying because some of items is either expired or about to expire. Other than that, customer service was great as always.

I love markets and it's always interesting what I run into. Case in point, there was a whole lechon pig at the entrance of this Seafood City and it's $17.99 a pound. It looks amazing. Thsi is a very clean and well stocked Seafood City. Easy parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

Our go to Filipino grocery store. Normally, my shopping experience in this store is pretty good. Today, we waited for an hour to get our fried catfish. I checked after 30 minutes and was told it's because they changed the oil in the fryer. Ok, cool...fresh oil. 45 minutes not yet. But I see some fried fish coming out but it's for grill city. Finally, I see our fried catfish come out. I should have left it but my family really wanted catfish for lunch. I wished he told me that it is going to take a little longer for fish frying because they are changing the oil. I guess I'm going to Island Pacific for our fried fish from now on.

What an awesome spot! I couldn't help but wish we had something like this in Tucson. The selection of fresh fish, prawns, squid, meats, and vegetables was amazing, and the ramen aisle alone was worth the trip. The store also has two restaurants inside, both buzzing with people. Prices were very reasonable, and I came across so many interesting products for the first time. Truly a fun and memorable experience.

There are several international markets I shop at in Tucson Arizona but as a seafood consumer I looked into Seafood City today. As others have written they offer lots of types of meat and really as the name states, plenty of seafood is available on ice. There also is plenty of produce and we picked up garlic and turmeric. This morning I discovered a Red Ribbon bakery inside. Oh how I've enjoyed their cakes in years past. I'm on a mission for a few things, and was here just a few minutes. There is a cafeteria inside with lots of customers buying hot meals. The store appeared clean, but the meat area had a strong odor with all the seafood out for purchase. Many cashiers to check us out fast. Overall positive experience.

Seafood City is a Filipino supermarket chain in Artesia that has difficult to find Filipino specialty items. I came in looking for corned beef to go with my Pandesal and I got exactly what I was looking for. Had to resist the urge to not buy Filipino chips, dried mangos, Filipino ice creams. It's not the cleanest grocery store and the store has the concentrated smell of dried fish. Inside the store you can find Grill City for ready-made Filipino dishes and Red Ribbon, which I love for their butter mamon. I come here for Filipino ingredients, but not necessarily meat/seafood, unless I want to make something specific like a nilaga soup. If I'm under the weather and making a nilaga soup, for instance, I can get the beef shank with bone, seasonings, and all the veggies easily. On the other hand, it can be difficult to find regular things that I am looking for. Overall, I'm glad that it is around because they have lots of things that I can't find elsewhere, and I think it's a good place to go for my specialty needs!

3/2/25 The search for Bagoong continues... I know, moot point! As per usual, on a Sunday, this supermarket is a zoo. I had expected long lines due to the slow service at check out... nothing new, but alas! The ladies at customer service motioned for me to come on over, I was saved! They're fabulously friendly & expedient enough since I only had 4 items. While in line, the people in front of me did not dare notice or offer for me to go ahead (I notice that only non Filipino would offer such a friendly/mindful gesture. This supermarket is especially geared for anything Filipino & grateful for this but I just wish the service in terms of expedience to be ... well more expedient! Fresh fruits & vegetables are fairly fresh except I saw a few flies hovering over some fruits--it's a health concern. Of course, the ban on bagoong (salted, preserved tiny shrimp) must still be in full effect, do not on this front. The meat & fish department looks great. No funny or fishy smell. Lots of options! Grill City is inside at the front of the store--get cooked foods & dance to the music (way, way too loud but very lively) while you're at it. Fairly huge parking lot at this plaza but could be challenging at peak times. Given the choice, I would opt somewhere service is quicker & definitely painless.

Great Filipino supermarket! Everything that you may need they are selling it here. Decent prices. They have Red Ribbon inside the market and the grill city which offers freshly cooked meals. At this visit, I saw they had a San Miguel keg which I have not seen anywhere, pretty cool.

We were disappointed during our recent visit. While looking at the leche flan in the store, we noticed mold growing on it. When I pointed it out to the staff, they simply said "okay" -- no apology, no concern, and no action taken. What's even worse is that this isn't the first time this has happened to us. It's very concerning to see poor quality control and such a lack of care for food safety and customer experience. Management really needs to take this seriously before someone gets sick.

The store is clean and organized. The products are probably sufficient for mainland Fil-Am and I was able to locate products needed in this area. I do wish the store would incorporate products familiar to HI Fil-Am. (They did not stock taro leaves, saimin-type noodles like S&S, Takuwon pickled radish, kamaboko fish-cakes, kimchee, etc) so it forced me to seek out another store. It did carry Aloha Sun drinks, thankfully. The inner court restaurant menu option was not impressive and over-priced. As for the pre-made/tray snacks/dessert, it was very lacking with insufficient choices. The puto is mini sized and over-priced, no Biko / bibinka on many visits. They do have a Red Ribbon in store with a few sought after products. I gave a 3 since it was not inclusive for Hawaii Fil-Am and for lack of other products. It was very inconvenient having to shop another 2 stores or so for must-have items.

Return policy is ridiculous. You only have 3 days to return non-perishable items which I believe is ridiculous. Got rejected because I came on day 4. Please update it. Not going to be shopping here again as long as I can help it.

I went there last Saturday and had my fish cleaned, cut in 3 pcs then deep fried. Sure enough when I got home i found out that my order is missing 2 pcs of my fish. I ddnt happen just once, but this is the 3rd time. I usually let it slide coz im very busy and i leave far from Artesia/Cerritos. But the management should know about this pattern from the seafood section. Next time don't let them cut ur fish into slices. And make sure to double check your order before leaving. The staff should be honest in dealing with our orders.

I hate writing this however seafood city in this location is terrible. We've bought so many pictures and bread here that has mold. I don't think they check it so whenever you guys buy anything here, make sure you double check that there's no mold or any issues with your bakery with all your pastries and now recently, my dad bought Pigs meat to make Lechon and they gave him a really bad moldy meat that cannot be served and people would be sick. I can't believe that they're just so reckless. I support island Pacific more than seafood city at this point and I think that that's why they're having so many club vibes and other location because they're struggling with Sales and just their reputation again. Make sure you check every single food that you buy from this place.

DO NOT BUY MEAT HERE. Their chicken is always smelly. I swear I don't think they care or even clean where they put them. It stinks. I came twice and it's the same. I will never shop here for meat again.

It's a one stop shop , if you looking for Filipino food . They have great sales and their staff is friendly and respectful.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! THIS PARTICULAR SEAFOOD CITY SELLS OLD MEAT, EXPIRED FOOD AND MOLDY VEGETABLES. I did not want to put this review. It happened once thought it was a mistake, then second time I bought expired stinky meat again!! The third time expired stinky meat again! I am so Disgusted by this place. This particular Seafood City should be ashamed and should be reported to the Food and Health Department. They are selling expired rotten meat to people hoping someone would buy it and be too lazy to come back to complain. People check your meat and the expiration on the things you buy here.

This is a Filipino store with lots of Filipino goodies! You can almost find anything you need here when making a Filipino dish. The isles are always clean and stocked. The place is always kept tidy. The customer service is ok, but they will be willing to help you find anything you need in the isles. I believe they also have lots of Filipino restaurants/fast food inside.

Bought ground chicken today & when we started cooking it we noticed a funky smell. I checked the package & packing date was 4days ago 2/18/25. We threw it away & ran to nearby Ralphs to get ground chicken. Tried to call Seafood City number multiple times to make them aware so they can remove the other old stocks in the shelf but no one answered. The phone just kept ringing.

Don't buy meats here. I bought chicken and fish different dates months apart and it was so smelly, rotten. It almost made me throw up. I threw it out of course. I should've gotten a refund but I didn't keep the receipt. I thought the first time was bc I didn't pick the right chicken or I didn't read the sticker package. But nope.

How can this pork belly costs $20? Its a rip off! I will never go back to this place! Its the most expensive pork ive ever had! Doesnt even taste good. Service is super slow. Workers dont move fast enough even if the line is long. Im very disappointed

I really wish I didn't have to write this review, but I feel like I have no choice. People and the owners/management need to know these experiences to hopefully not have a repeat occurrence! I went to the fresh seafood section on 2/28 around 6 pm and asked to have 2 fish (milk fish and tilapia) fried. Their cleaning ends at 8 pm, so I asked to have it cleaned and fried. I come home to make fish sauce, rice, and other sides to enjoy our fish, and we take a piece out and BLOOD AND GUTS start pouring out of our fish. . Disgusting, unsanitary, and unacceptable! This is my first time asking them to fry our fish, and now, never again! I even gave this guy a tip for doing it. I don't understand, they have 2 tasks for the 1 job at that frying station--clean and fry. NONE OF WHICH WAS ACCOMPLISHED. Undercooked and raw fish being handed off for us to eat. Both the fish were undercooked, the tilapia was too squishy. What's wrong with these people, I didn't come here for sushi. SMH.

SO MUCH variety here! The options are endless. It's all fairly priced in my honest opinion. I don't normally eat seafood, I'm not much of a enthusiast of it, but I will definitely recommend this place to family when we have a get together and are in need of fish and the like.

The grocery store is relatively small, carrying limited vegetables and fruits, but abundant meat and seafood. The facilities were old and trashes were left on the floor.

We're excited to eat our take home rice porridge (overload goto) and 'balut' but we're very disappointed, the goto was spoiled and the 'balut' is like a hard jelly. What a waste of money. Bought them on February 16, 2025, I wish I could post the pictures.

If I can give 0 star I would. BEWARE OF BUYING PACKAGED MEAT FROM THIS LOCATION!!! I just bought ground chicken that was "packed 06/02/24" according to the packaging only to find out it's BAD ground chicken. As soon as I opened the container, the ground chicken STUNK so bad. You know that bad meat smell? Yeah imagine that plus ten fold worse as if it was left out for days. That's how horrible it smells. That ground chicken ended up in the trash. What a waste of money. This location is already bad as it is smaller than the other locations I go to. I will NEVER come back here. Seafood city, you just lost my business.

Theres not that many filipino markets and im glad we have a seafood city nearby .... but i do wish the cashiers were more fast paced and time efficient. I love the food here but please work on faster service. It starts to feel like a drag when its so slow! Thank you.

I'd say my rating is more of a 3.5, but I'm going to give them 4 stars instead. Seafood City is a Filipino market serving up fresh fish and more. On a recent visit to the OC during this quarantine, I had a sudden craving for some Filipino food. I opted to try this place since it was on my way home and kind of off the freeway. This Seafood City seems to be a bit smaller than the other locations I have visited (West Covina and LA), but they're stocked with everything you need! This place is also really clean. They have tons of fresh fish that you wouldn't be able to find in other markets. You can even ask to have the fish cleaned and fried on the spot too! Seafood City is a market that I grew up to and a grocery store that I'll visit once in a while when I'm missing Filipino food. Be sure during this pandemic that you do your part in keeping your distance as well as wearing a mask when in public!

I live across the street from this place and don't get me wrong, I buy a lot of groceries here. With my experience living across the street and this Filipino market being my nearest within proximity... You have to double check your meat. I bought longanisa here yesterday and my son was craving to have it in the morning, upon opening it up this morning for his breakfast it was rotten and the smell was horrible. It's currently 754 in the morning the day after purchasing it yesterday, I am very upset and angry because if I had work today and was not able to return these items, I would have wasted about $30 in meat that could have fed my family. Thankfully I am off today and as soon as they open in 5 minutes I will be there waiting to speak to the manager. This is a health hazard and should be reported to the department of health for selling meat that is expired 4 days ago. I don't usually buy expired meat, but this time around. I didn't check and I'm usually good about it... I should say it's my fault for not checking but then again what if I was an elder person who had lost their scent and ate this? They would have been sent to the hospital!

Hi yelpers,there's an Asian market in Cerritos called Seafood City Supermarket.I don't know what is super about this market 'cos service is so bad and the prices are ridiculously high.The staff are not very helpful and they don't know where the products are located.Inside the market is not organized except for the fruits and vegetables sections.So if you're an Asian like me,go somewhere else that sells good products and good services.This market doesn't have the Asian hospitality and friendliness .

I felt so SICK! I bought groceries here last Monday (July 13, 2020), even gave a 4 Stars ratings that time for a good customer service by some Meat & Seafood Clerks. Only few minutes ago, I opened the choco cupcake that I bought in this store, on the said date. I took a bite and was so surprised on the taste, it tastes like MOLD. When I looked on the piece that I'm holding... there's really a big MOLD inside the cupcake, as if it's a FILLING. Even if I brushed my teeth twice after.. there's still the MOLD after taste in my mouth, even until now (while doing this review). I even vomited mins. ago. I really felt so SICK right now! I really wanted to give the lowest rating. If there's a negative rating, obviously I'll give it a NEGATIVE rate because Consumers' Health are at stake.

Be careful if your cashier happens to be estrellita. She once charged me 41 items of noodles instead of just 4. Good thing i checked the receipt prior to leaving the place. I was refunded all right. But what if i didn't have the chance to take a closer look at my receipt? It'll just be a "scratch in the head" sort of thing.

Good place for a Filipino market. I couldn't find my mango purée anymore. They substituted it with a pouch of which the quality wasn't sane, imagine replacing mango purée with sugar

This Seafood City, by far, was the cleanest and most organized one I've ever visited. From the floors to the ceiling, just clean. Most of all, there was plenty of space to move and walk around. I had to subtract a star because they didn't have much of a selection on vegetable greens as the stores in SD do. However, they had plenty of other products and the shelves were stocked well. Still, 4 stars on organization and cleanliness is a great thing.

I purchased meat from the market today. 2 separate bags of pork picnic, one had a price of $8.55 and the other one $21.06. I have a food scale at home and both weighed about the same. The one sticker that was priced $21.06 and weight of the meat was almost 8 pounds....wrong, it was only around 3 pounds. Their scale is way off and not accurate. Imagine how many other customers paid more because the scale was wrong. Tried calling the store, no one answers so it looks like I will have to drive back to the store to get this resolved.

The supermarket is cool, but the side restaurant... I don't know if I want to come back. The people are nice, but when you ask for fried chicken skin and then you come back home. You find out they gave you fried banana. I can't even eat fried bananas. The crazy part is that I asked the sweet PO or auntie three times for the fried chicken skin. The market itself is alright. Just restaurant.

The store is very clean, neat and very well stocked of Pilipino, Latin-American and American items and essentials however the cashiers customer service is horrible There are other Asian supermarkets around the area that I prefer to go to shop to because of their better service. I don't need to pay to be treated poorly The only reason of why I continue to visit this store? Is because they've a Philippino restaurant inside the supermarket and because of Red Ribbon bakery both establishments provide great customer service and of course their food is pretty good Plenty of parking available

I love coming here. Lots of fresh seafood. Lots of Asian things you can't get at regular supermarkets. Been going to Seafood Cities for years. The one thing I noticed is it's been harder and harder to get fresh crab. But there is so much other seafood. And the prices are really good too. I highly recommend this place.

You have to look closely at the items you buy here. I was looking at the Tikoy and they have molds in them! I reported this to a guy working there and he still did not remove the items. He was talking to another employee and they were saying they had several pallets of them. I was at the cashier and they didn't do anything and appears to just be waiting for me to leave the store.

I hope management fixes this. I feel bad for the cashier under register 5 who is exposed to the COLD. I hope fellow coworkers saw this and reported it to remedy the situation. They should have moved her to another register that's not directly facing the open door(like reg#2).

Pretty nice location to have a Filipino supermarket. *Yay for a red ribbin bakery located inside the market to the right of the entrance. Products are always well stocked and the store interior is kept clean. Seafood section carries a variety of products to choose from and all are fresh from the experiences I have had.

I usually come here when I crave anything filipino. today I came for some groceries and snacks. I bought a few of these goldilocks ube mamon and they were moldy. Please check your products!

My complaint is about the consignment desserts. This Alice's Kakanin kutsinta taste nothing. Do not buy! It's so disgusting and has a smell like an air freshener. There is absolutely no taste to it. It feels like you are eating a hard glue.

Seafood City Supermarket, where dinner can easily be picked up hot n' fresh, is a Filipino version of 99 Ranch. With goods that are discerning to the Filipino taste, weekly specials and hot foods have kept me being a frequent customer. On the right, there is a Red Ribbon Bakeshop, selling their delicious baked goods. On the left, a Chowking & Grill City are kept busy fulfilling the orders of Filipino food lovers. Over in the Seafood section, there are pre-cooked items ready to go, such as pork liempo, crisy pata, grilled squid, dried fish & chicken inasal. I'm a big time liempo lover, and when I just want liempo and not a combo at Grill City, I'm quick to pick up one here. Fish are sold on ice, and there are also pre-cleaned selections for a higher cost. Quick & simple. Service has been good. Sometimes, the checkout lines tend to back up, but the wait usually isn't too bad. Parking is in a busy private lot, shared by other Filipino businesses like Eriel's Café, Valerio's & Goldilocks. When in need for Pinoy pood for a good time, hustle on over to Seafood City. There, you can pick up already cooked meat & pre-cleaned fish, along with fresh produce, and you're well on your way to a great dinner. Recommend!

But luckily I didnt come here to buy produce. The produce did not look exactly fresh. I was sad. So this is your basic filipino market that sells traditional items, beauty products, meats, groceries, ect, ect. Its housed with a Red Ribbon and a Chow King. So its a win win. I came here to buy some coffee creamer and it costs $4.99, yikes...And some good old banana ketchup, vinegar, all purpose sauce, corn beef, garlic nuts, pacenias and a few other snackers. Service is just okay. I asked the cashier if they carried a few items, she had no idea what I was talking about. A lot of shelves were being stocked so isles were blocked and it was hard to manuever around.
