Excellent guest house. Clean and well presented. Great location inside the Fort. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sri Lankan breakfast was very tasty. Highly recommend and great value. Enjoyed staying here and will return in the future.

I went to the restaurant and asked for grilled items. They mentioned that only grilled prawns and grilled chicken were available. After placing the order, a couple came, finished their lunch, and left, which shows how slow the service was. We eventually decided to go for the rice and curry buffet, but only pork curry was available. I opted for vegetarian rice and curry, while my partner chose pork rice and curry. After a long wait of nearly a decade, the grilled dishes finally arrived. For almost 2,000 rupees, they served only about 50 grams of prawns (just a few pieces), and the chicken looked more like it was boiled rather than grilled. They didn’t ask us about preferences or even basic things like water. I had to request water separately, and in the end, they charged 600 rupees as a service charge. Money isn't the issue, but if you’re charging that much, at least treat the customers well. To top it off, a normal 170-rupee Coke was priced at 550 rupees with the service charge. So, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Despite only staying one night here, it certainly made an impression. Find yourself welcomed by an unassuming exterior, that opens to a plethora of well kept and swish rooms. The staff were so friendly and more than happy to help. They booked us a taxi onto our next destination, which was a lovely ride and helpfully narrated by our gracious driver/ host. Great location, and a yummy breakfast to top it all off. We enjoyed the presence of their super friendly dog- Amy, who made a welcomed breakfast guest. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location in Galle Fort with a lovely view of the sea and locals playing cricket by the walls from the comfortable terrace. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Rooms were great: comfy bed and the best bathroom we have had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Highly recommend a stay here.

Location on outer edge of fort gives a lovely seabreeze. Great value rooms for inside the fort & tasty meals in downstairs restaurant including very good curries and breakfasts. Being next to the primary school adds a local vibe, noise was not an issue for us. Helpful staff and very convenient place.

I had 4 nights in Galle, staying at the guesthouse. It was perfect for my needs. The staff very very friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. The homemade curries where plentiful and tasty. I had a couple of (western style) breakfasts and these were just as enjoyable. Pirate the guesthouse dog was also very sweet. Having 2 outdoor terraces was an advantage to enjoy the evening breeze.|Thank you I enjoy my stay.

Very pleasant brief stay. Clean, tidy and the hosts were very friendly. Nice location if wanting to see the fort. We stayed one night and this was enough to do a bit of shopping etc. they guesthouse offers good A/C and WiFi and a decent shower. They have a little restaurant downstairs too. We did not eat there but it looked decent and smelt good

A quite delightful little homestay in Galle Fort. Fabulous clean rooms with Fan and A/C. Really good price for the area. Naman and his staff are full of help and smiles. Great roof top terrace to watch the locals at sunset on the ramparts. Special mention for the bathroom, by far and away the best we've encountered in Sri Lanka. Good food is served downstairs. His brother's burger shop next door does the best homemade patties.
