Seahaven Village

Where to start? Whilst the email explaining how to gain entry was useful I really didn’t appreciate the authoritive tone of pre arrival & pre departure emails. Maybe it says much about your average guest but telling me there would be an additional charge for an extra towel when I’m paying $250 a night spoke of a lack of generosity of spirit. My email request for fresh towels was ignored but don’t worry as I discovered where they live & helped myself. By the way the shower head needs new washers. Then the explicit instructions on cleaning up before leaving left me pondering as to whether you’d like me to clean all the other bits your cleaners missed? Maybe hospitality is not for you.

Summary: Basic, dated and perfunctory. Great location. - Rooms: BASIC although adequate. Very dated. Rooms were clean. - Service: EVERYTHING is self-service. Check-In & Check-Out process is perfunctory if a touch curt. "Do this, do that, don't do this", etc. - Location: great location, right near the main strip of BH.

The managers are wonderful, attentive and kind. This is a beautiful spot. A stay here is a must.

Good location, not far from shops and cafes. Good set up of the house. Main let down is cleanliness!! Lots of dust under the beds. We had to call for someone to come and vacuum/clean after we arrived due to the bedroom rug being covered in hair and dirt! One of the decorative plants had a ball of hair on it, which was absolutely gross! Kitchen equipment is not the cleanest either. We appreciated the bottle of wine we were given in return for our troubles including spotty wifi but wouldn't necessarily book this place again.

Nice little weekend stay here. Spacious and all the necessary amenities for a home cooked meal. Short 10 min stroll to the shops and in a quiet area. Internet can be patchy and the main bed is very hard and I usually don’t mind a firm sleep. The pillows also lack any support.

I’ve stayed many times here. Beautiful cute cottages with wood burners and thoughtful touches. Great communication from owners. Book direct for a better experience.

Lovely clean mini apartment, well equipped, with a kitchenette with fridge and hobs, world's most powerful shower, and comfy huge bed, in a great location. Laundry facilities kept my wife happy too!||Definitely recommended.

We have enjoyed 5 weeks here in the Colite Cottage while having renovations done at our home.|The cottage was comfortable and well appointed. A weekly service was welcomed.|The cottages were popular post Covid lockdown, but the cottages are quiet, apart from the possum on the roof!|We enjoyed the park opposite, coffee from Starfish Bakery and a wander into the village or to the beach. Great places to eat in town and the IGA is very well stocked.|Even though we are locals, and we were working, it actually felt like we were having a break.|Natasha and Chris were outstanding hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Chris even came on a Sunday to attend to an issue with a shower.|We highly recommend Seahaven Village to anyone visiting the Bellarine. It would be a perfect base for your stay.
