Went to Seamstress for dinner and started with the pork/chicken moneybag and the betel leaf appetiser. The moneybag was flavourful, with a kick of chili oil that really enhanced the dish. The betel leaf, served with roasted nuts, coconut & pickled mango, was a bit dry, and I couldn’t taste much of the pickled mango. For the main, we had the braised beef short rib, which was tender and juicy (though a bit too fatty for my taste), and paired wonderfully with hoisin sauce. The side of roti, however, was a little chewy and lacked the expected flakiness. Service was quick and attentive throughout.
