Dishonest billing, hidden fees, and shady practices — beware.
If you value honesty and transparency, stay far away from this place.
I went in on October 4, 2025, with my wife and two others. The bill totaled $138.43 — but what was on that bill is the real problem.
First, two beers were added that I never ordered. My receipt clearly shows “Cali Squeeze” and “Tower Station,” both priced at $8.32 each. When I confronted the waitress (Rachelle), she gave me a lame excuse that a “new person” — who wasn’t even my server — supposedly went to my table and added them. She did apologize afterward, but that doesn’t excuse the situation. My wife even overheard another table complaining about the exact same issue: drinks added to their bill that they never ordered. That’s not coincidence — that’s a shady pattern.
She eventually refunded the beers, but only after I called her out. No accountability, just a refund once she was caught. If I hadn’t checked the receipt carefully, they would’ve gotten away with it.
Then came the upsell. I asked for their beef dip, which they no longer serve. The waitress suggested the poutine instead but never mentioned that everything would be billed à la carte. They charge extra for gravy, and the amount they give barely covers the fries. When I asked for more gravy, she didn’t mention there’d be another charge until it appeared on the bill. My receipt has multiple separate “GRAVY $2.08” line items — a complete nickel-and-dime move.
Between the unauthorized drink charges, undisclosed add-ons, and the half-hearted apology after being caught, this place operates without integrity. My wife overheard another table having the same problem, which makes it clear this isn’t a one-time mistake.
Between the shady billing, hidden upcharges, and lack of transparency, this was one of the most dishonest dining experiences I’ve had. If you do eat here, check every single line on your bill — or better yet, spend your money somewhere honest.
