Seapine Beach Golf and Resort Hua Hin

Seapine is a massive resort hotel, one that has definitely seen better days, in the army-controlled outskirts of Hua Hin, offering good accommodation for reasonable prices. The staff was nice and our room was spacious and had a nice big balcony. The main complaint about the room was that there were nowhere near enough power outlets near the beds where people need them nowadays. We especially enjoyed the beach, pool and rich breakfasts with Thai and Western dishes. When booking, you have to keep in mind it is quite far from central Hua Hin but if you come with your own car (they have a large free car park) it's a good choice for getting away from the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin.

PLEASE READ!!! I honestly can’t even begin to review this hotel without getting mad. First of all we end up way further from town then they say they are located, which would have been fine except we didn’t end up staying at the seapine resort they sent us to the Royal Thai army resort which is miss represented as the sea pine. I was travelling along with 8 other people here and every single person was not only disappointed with their stay but disgusted! The place was disorganized, messy, revolting and slow. Then walls and floors had some sort of blood/ dirt mixture, there was no warm water, and the water was dirty. We attempted to go to their restaurant and it looked like no one had been there in years. Later in the night as we were getting into bed we checked the bed because we were very nervous. Each place had at least one alive or dead bug in the sheets, and mattress. There was also blood stains in the sheets. Our group attempted to call the front desk to complain and were met with being hung up on… excellent… we all went down stairs and demanded to go to the real seapine. They originally told us the real seapine was totally full. Upon threatening to leave a bad review they had mention that they actually had the exact number of rooms we needed… convenient again. Upon getting into our “real” seapine rooms they were just as bad. Bed bug eggs all along our bed and mattress. We had to stay in our friends room for the night and left ASAP in the morning! Do not stay here!!

READ THIS!!! this is the most horrible “resort” I’ve ever seen. First of all we walk in and they let us know our booking is in a different building. They brought us to the Thai army resort that was like a 5 min drive away. We walk up to our room and it’s filthy. Bloody dog prints everywhere, stains on the bed, cobwebs, spiders and worst of all BED BUGS! I call down the the front and they hang out on me. Nice! So then I storm downstairs I voice my concerns and they said “ oh we can clean the room”. Like that’s going to help a bed bug infestation. I then demand to have rooms in the seapine resort that we were supposed to stay in. At first they said no rooms available. Then they said one room is available and finally after getting angry they say “ oh we have four rooms available. When we get there it’s our original booking. These rooms were not much better. One couple we were travelling with had to come sleep in our bed because there’s STILL had bed bugs and eggs everywhere! We got up at 6 am and left because we were so grossed out. It didn’t not feel safe. It seemed like family’s were living there. When Expedia tried to contact them they wouldn’t pick up the phone. This was a horrid experience. Walking door to door in hua hin trying to find a hotel with room. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

A Beautiful and Memorable Stay at Seapine Golf & Hotel, Hua Hin From the moment we arrived at Seapine Golf & Hotel, we were truly impressed by the warm welcome and attention to detail. Our room was wonderfully spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with a classic touch that my wife absolutely loved. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the housekeeping staff made sure everything was kept immaculate throughout our stay. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Somsak, the General Manager, for his thoughtful arrangements and outstanding hospitality. He made our stay feel so homey and personal, and we are truly grateful for the care he extended to our family. Our son had the best time enjoying the swimming pool, and we loved exploring the large, peaceful property with the golf cart provided for easy access. The beachfront was another highlight—long, quiet, and almost private—perfect for peaceful walks and relaxation. Every part of our stay reflected great service, professionalism, and warmth from the entire staff. Thank you once again, Mr. Somsak, for making our holiday such a beautiful and memorable experience. We will definitely be coming back! 🌴✨

I came here with my family and stayed in one of the bungalows. Unfortunately, we noticed bugs and insects in the bathroom even though we had just checked in. Considering the price the hotel charges, I think there is room for improvement, such as having bathrooms with separate dry and wet areas. We also noticed that people kept parking in front of our entrance, which felt strange since it is clearly a private bungalow. Even though we don’t have a car, our access to the property and the beach should not be blocked. That said, the staff were nice and helpful, especially the front desk and bellboy.

Going along with the trend of post covid check-in times not reverting to before the 'deep-clean' excuse, check-in here is a day wasting 3pm. To make matters worse, we couldn't go to our 3-bedroom-bungalow (garden view) until 3:55 as the cleaners were not finished. I thought to myself that at least we would have a sparkling clean place to stay.|Wrong. |See pics of pillows. I mean, what is THAT??|Also the bathrooms were dusty and clearly hadn't been cleaned for months. Stains on walls, stans on sheets, literally poo on the toilet seat and lid underside, main bathroom STANK of old urine, much like an old forgotten public toilet, and furniture so tatty i thought we'd somehow wandered into an animal shelter for cats with chronic scratching and spraying problems.|Needless to say, I asked for 2 replacement pillows. |Did I get them? Absolutely not.|These days i really can't be bothered fighting hotels so I sorted the rest of the list myself. Except the furniture. And the bed Obviously. |I sacrificed my jacket to use as a thicker pillowcase so I wouldn't catch the plague from that petri dish of a pillow.|Went outside to see the garden view. |...couldn't see any gardens, just a road and then the line of bungalows with a sea view. Ah well.|Come the night I got ready for bed and then sat in the bed. The amount of cracking and protesting the bed base did, i thought I was going to go through it. Tentatively laid down and didnt dare move again until morning. |Next day I called and asked for pillows. |Did I get them? Absolutely not.|Also the grounds around the beach are strewn with litter.|I could go on and on but I feel there is hopefully enough to go on here for a Seapine rep to make use of.|That's if they actually care, so I presume there'll be no reply.|Shame really. Such an impressive building full of promise.

Nice staffing go over and beyond to help you. This is a great place great location not far into town maybe 4 min by car beach is private. Hotel is quiet. I didn’t get to try breakfast. Although I heard great things about it. I would stay again. This would be my go to place.

This is called a beach house there is nothing that suggests this is a house there is not one plate one fork one knife one spoon.There isn't a microwave or anything to allow you to warm food.Because it was in the beach house breakfast was not included the first morning we went to have breakfast at the actual Hotel we were charged 250 bhat each.We were told the breakfast would be Asian and American.There was lots of different rice and Asian dishes as far as Western food goes there were fried eggs which were cold what they called him which was some processed triangular meat chicken sausages.There was no bacon no scrambled eggs or anything else that would be considered Western food other than some corn flakes and the milk was in a big jug with no ice around it so the milk was off because it had been sitting there all morning. I would not recommend paying for breakfast even if it's included free you will find the food is very sparse
