Great food and nice ciders! We went with a 6 year old and it was great. A bit noisy, but overall we were able to have conversations at the table just fine! Everything was delicious. I got the passion fruit cider, and Hubby got the Cherry honey. We ended up swapping, but they were both delicious! We were able to buy cans to take back home with us as well. They also have cute souvenirs for sale! Would definitely recommend!

Loved it! We are traveling through and had some many good looking things on the menu we had a hard time deciding. The thai chicken salad was great and fish and chips we nice and crisp. Also, they have an additional seasonal beer menu that had some great options beyond their normal menu options. The appetizer of local cheese curds were really good in the spicy chili sauce as well. Would definitely go back.

Google
Absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Crescent City! But be prepared to wait! Maybe it’s different on weekdays, but we went around 6 pm on Saturday night and were told we would have about an hour wait. We went back a little before 5 pm on Sunday and still had a 30 minute wait, but it was worth it in my opinion. The food was delicious, nice variety of beers, good cocktails, and despite all the people it was not loud and easy to have conversations.

The service was spectacular, especially on a busy holiday at the coast. This establishment is organized, thorough and overall top notch. We will definitely be back when visiting the area. Our service was impressive and the food amazing! Our entire party loved everything we ordered, especially the cheese curds. Way to go SeaQuake team, thank you for a great experience!

Smash burger and fish and chips Smash burger: sauce was good and provided moisture. Beef Pattie’s had good browning from the smash. The bacon could have been crispier, but delicious nonetheless. A lot of lettuce which fell off while eating, but I didn’t mind. The onion and tomato were a nice balance with the brioche bun. I did have to add salt to the burger throughout eating, but that could have been because I ordered with no cheese, throwing off the seasoning balance. Fries: not a huge portion, but it’s okay. The fries weren’t very crispy and didn’t taste super fresh. I wish they were hotter and crispier. Fish: rock fish in a breadcrumb type breading. Very crispy, flakey and light. Well seasoned. THOROUGHLY enjoyed. Tartar sauce: REALLY really good. Ranch: also very good Overall, we enjoyed our experience. Food, service, view from the window, the vibe, etc. the beer pairings with the menu items made it easy to decide what to order. Also, shout out to Miguel, who was our server and was amazing. We would go back just for him again. If you go, ask for Miguel.

The place is near the coast - and it is huge. So many seats! And bar too! We had a 10min wait for the table on a Thursday evening. We got the root beer, a pale ale, chicken waffle pizza and Thai chicken salad. The drinks were delightful and fresh. The beer was strong. The pizza was very unique - it almost tasted like a waffle with fried chicken as topping. The cheese was delicious. The peanut sauce on the salad was so good - the crunch of peanuts and grilled chicken went so well together. The staff were kind and attentive. We had a great time here.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Beautiful place, disappointing service. SeaQuake Brewing has an incredible atmosphere—the building is beautiful, and the second-floor seating offers a great vibe. Unfortunately, the service really misses the mark. We sat upstairs, and it quickly became clear our waiter wasn’t enthusiastic about making the trip up and down. Our first round of drinks took a long time to arrive, and one person in our party didn’t receive theirs until their meal had already come. Appetizers and entrées all showed up at once, removing any pacing from the meal. I ordered two pints—one came late, and the second didn’t arrive until after we had finished eating. When I asked, the waiter just said they were “busy,” despite the restaurant being far from full and the bar looking idle. He also mentioned they used to use QR code ordering, but had to stop because customers were walking out due to delays—clearly not a new issue. It’s really unfortunate. With such a prime location and appealing atmosphere, SeaQuake should be a highlight in Crescent City, especially for those visiting the Redwoods. But the service needs a serious overhaul to match the setting.

Google
Busy place. Good selection of beer, although most were IPAs. The stout and porter were excellent. Nice patio area. They run a waiting list for a table, so plan accordingly. Easy lot parking. Good space for families. ADA access. Food is just OK. Fish and chips tastes like the breading, really no fish flavor and the filets are very thin. Ramen portion is enough to feed a family of 4. So was the fish and chips. Pulled pork sandwich was OK, but has a lot of BBQ sauce on it. None of the food was hot enough, so it must've sat in the kitchen for sometime before service. Service was friendly, effecient. Overall, an ok place.

Yelp
Seaquake food is alway delicious and they are very accommodating with special orders and do their best to fulfil your order.

Yelp
Great brewery in crescent city and my favorite place to eat when I visit. I love their kombucha, which they offer in a variety of flavors. They don't have a huge selection of vegan options, but you can go wrong with the impossible burger. Their sweet potato fries were amazing- probably the best I've ever had! The ambiance is cozy and it's a great place for a casual yet elegant meal.

Yelp
Awesome pizza. Loved the crust and the sauce. Wife's Mac and cheese with prawns was generous and nicely flavored. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. The ambiance was che sports pub but the operating fireplace was a nice touch that elevated the experience on a cool breezy day. All in all, an experience we would happily repeat if we're ever back in the area.

Yelp
We tried this place out for lunch and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. My partner enjoyed a chicken sandwich which had a delicious slaw mix on it. I ordered a déjà vu bowl which is kind of similar to the KFC bowl but much better. We also enjoyed a flight of beers and their own brewed root beer. This place has a pet friendly patio, which was great as we had brought our mini pig with us to lunch and he was welcomed on the porch. FYI: Dog Owner's there is a really nice dog park located just across the street as well.

Yelp

Yelp
Awesome drink selection and very friendly staff! I had the birria ramen and it was delicious. Lost a star because my friend had a burger and was less than enthused. Said it was just alright. However, we enjoyed our experience overall and liked the location!

Yelp
During a two night stay in Crescent City, we visited SeaQuake Brewing twice! Loved it!! First visit was lunch, just got into town and found this place had available tables right away. Service is so good here, personable and effective. Husband tried a Mexican lager on one visit, a coke on another. His cup was alway full. I ordered a cider flight and was so excited to try such a great variety of drafts. Alicia wrote down all the names in order so I knew what each cider was called. I really enjoyed the less sweet Gravenstein, but not so fond of the Passion Fruit. Meanwhile, the honey cherry Swipe Right was delicious. Then the Blurberry, wow at first sip I thought it was too sour like red wine, or too strong like port, but loved it the more I drank. On my second visit, I got a pint of each! My lunch was a lettuce wrapped Redwood burger with a side of sweet potato fries and ranch to dip. It was perfect, if simple. Their ranch dressing was really excellent, and our server made sure I had enough to go home with my leftover fries. My husband ordered a big blackened shrimp Caesar salad, which he enjoyed but I got to take home some of the shrimp because there were so many! On our second visit, I tried the fish tacos and salad instead of fries. They were happy to accommodate me with corn tortillas and grilled fish instead of battered and fried. They were good tacos, but I truly couldn't finish them and the ENORMOUS side salad. The dijon vinaigrette was unmemorable. Husband ordered a smash burger this time, and although he had them hold the special sauce which i love, he said it was great. The blue cheese dressing that came with the side salad was the excellent homemade ranch dressing again, this time with a huge handful of fresh crumbled blue cheese on top. Be still my heart! Again, Emily was an excellent server, stayed on top of our refills and earned every penny of her tip!

Yelp
Seaquake brewing is the spot in town as there is really nothing else more to do here. Nice chill spot good vibes. The beer here was surprisingly not too bad and I enjoyed drinking them. Also got a side of the cheese curds which was delicious and the sauce was good as well. I would definitely become a regular here if I lived in the area. Recommend the spot and will be back.

Yelp
Came in for a quick lunch and was very good I got the Ramen and it was very good and my partner got the chicken sandwich which I wish I got because of how good it was. It came with fries and some type of ranch that was out of this world.

Yelp
We had fish and tots and clam chowder in a bread bowl. All their beers were solid. The fish was amazing. Cooked perfectly. The chowder was so good too and I loved the bread The place was pretty cool. Big, open, and clean. The staff was really nice and gave recommendations.

Yelp
Great food, great service, and a tasty seasonal beer menu. We got the burger and the Thai salad, our usual, and it didn't disappoint. If you visit, be sure to get the beer flight to try out several of their local brews and collaborations with other local breweries!

Yelp
During our visit, we dined at this establishment. The food quality was excellent, and all dishes were exceptionally flavorful! The service was also superb, and the restaurant was clean and had a pleasant ambiance. Will visit whenever we come on a road trip!

Yelp
I enjoyed the queso and the fries here. The smash burger here isn't actually a smash burger and it is dry unfortunately. Service was great here though. Cool spot to grab a cold one.
google avatar

Theresa A.

Yelp
Excellent service here! The place is very spacious with enough room for large parties. The blackened shrimp on the ceasar salad was a bit over seasoned and blackened. The chowder was bland. The fries were delicious and the ranch was a nice compliment! I also enjoyed the chips and queso, but the smash burger was dry.
google avatar

Yelp
Second time here, pretty disappointed. Came at lunchtime my friend and I ordered one of their "specialty" menu items fish and chips, with Parmesan cheese fries. Fish was dry and tasteless, tasted like overcooked cheap fish sticks. For $20, I expected better. The fries were good, but really. Should have ordered a burger. That's harder to screw up. I won't be back. Service was fast and friendly, the ambiance is loud like a sports bar.

Yelp
The atmosphere was great and the staff was nice. We sat on the patio with our dog. There was one other table and they were eating in the dark, asked if we could get the strung lights turned on. Appetizers came out before our drink. Didn't get silverware or napkins until we asked, as well as water and iced tea refills. My mom wasn't that hungry so she asked the server if the salad came in a half order, she said yes. Full salad is around $16 if I recall and then the half salad came out to $12 on the receipt. When we asked the server why the half order was so expensive she said, "yeah I don't know why the menu doesn't have the price." Was a little disappointed she didn't say something when we asked. I got the shrimp tacos and they were full of melted cheese like a quesadilla and only had two shrimp in them.

Yelp
We were really impressed with SeaQuake Brewing: the food, the location and the prices etc. We dined here on a Monday night and there was a 30 minute wait to get seated. They text you when it's your turn. The food was great and they make a lot of the items from scratch. I love that their burger patty is grass-fed meat. Their kombuchas were tasty too--it had a beer aftertaste. The prices of the food were reasonable.
google avatar

Christy M.

Yelp
We had a fun visit to the brewery. The beers were good, and the food was even better! We were glad that it was kid and dog friendly. However, the heavy chairs and tables on the patio were really loud as they were being moved around, and it was difficult to move the chairs so it was comfortable for everyone. It took a while to order our drinks, but when they came, we were very happy with them. The food was delicious, the pizzas were fantastic, and the mac & cheese was so rich. I could barely eat half of it! I was hoping to get a shirt, but the girls in the front didn't seem too interested in helping me find the shirts that were in my size, so I ended up leaving without one. Overall, I would definitely come back for another meal here.

Yelp
Our dinner tonight was excellent along with the service. I had the panko breaded fish and chips while my wife had the Battery Point Snapper. The best fish and chips I've ever had in my 62 years on earth. Here is a shot of my wife's dish, it tasted as good as it looks.

Yelp
Passing through Crescent City and was craving pizza so looked up "Pizza near me". Found this place and the wait was one hour but my family didn't mind. We get sat and we ordered. It was very busy but it was a Friday night. Food was great. I ordered a Shirley temple and it tasted really flat. Waiter got me a water instead so that was nice. The restaurant was very busy and all the workers were on their toes so I understand we couldn't get the best customer service but it was a nice place to grab a bite. I want to go here again but when it's less busy. I really did enjoy the ambiance of the brewery and the view of the ocean. The locals seemed to love it and it was nice just stopping in Crescent city in general.

Yelp
I ordered their Surfside Shrimp Tacos and Guava Mango Mock-a-Rita (mocktail). The food was delicious and served fast. There is a parking lot outside. Has indoor and outdoor seating. It was very busy when i came (830 pm Sunday).

Yelp
Good menu with many diverse choices. Our meals were good. The Birria Ramen was excellent. Fish and chips had over fried fish. Nice location and good views. Service was good, but not great. Alexis was our server and did not give attention to details. For instance we had water drink and it was never refilled when empty. Also, we were presented with a wrong check.

Yelp
We had an unfortunate experience at SeaQuake, mainly due to poor service. After we got our menus, we sat for a good 20 minutes, before finally flagging down another worker and asking if we could order. Our server was very apologetic and took our orders. She brought (most of) our drinks and that was the last we saw her.. Our food was brought out by someone else and after eating and waiting for another 20 minutes, we again had to run inside to ask for someone to get us the bill. The hostess seemed bothered that we asked a question. Also, our server never came back with the drink my mother-in-law ordered, but it was still on the bill. It was such a headache getting help that we didn't even bother asking them to remove it. We wondered if this was due to us sitting on the patio, but other tables with different servers didn't seem to have the same problem as us. The food was fine. I'd say the fried cheese curds were the best item. The pizza was so rich and oily that we couldn't finish it. Nothing super memorable enough to make up for the bad service.

Yelp
Food: We ordered a few don't remember they're names but all was good. Will provide photos! Service: The guy was really attentive we love that! He always make sure we have everything we need. Ambiance: Love the place the staff members! They greeted us and sat us down quick. It's a muat try place! PLUS we are coming back!

Yelp
Great spot for dinner. Not a large menu, but what they offered was had to choose from. Settled on the smash burger and chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and fries were good too! Drinks also were on point!

Yelp
Amazing burgers and salads. Truffle fries are to die for. Super friendly staff and great food. The building is adorable inside.

Yelp
I was so delighted to be able to let my dogs enjoy being with me on the outside patio. The waitress brought over a heat tower, which made it an extremely comfortable temperature. Jen was my waitress and she was phenomenal. Very attentive, extremely patient with me trying to make a decision, offered her helpful suggestion to order the Smash Burger, her favorite. I upgraded to the side salad with my burger, and it did not disappoint. Quite a nice salad for the extra charge. The burger was amazing. I never felt rushed and Jen even brought my dogs a little water bowl. It was actually quite cute how every time a new dog joined the patio all the dogs that were already there started barking, and then they all calmed down again after the welcome group bark.

Yelp
Overrated. Overall foods we ordered tasted very boring. Not sure how could they get 4.5 stars.
google avatar

Jersey_Mike P.

Yelp
First time here. Sat near the front windows and there were a lot of flies landing on our table and us. Food and service were excellent! Our server Adriana was very friendly and prompt. Portions were huge. We ordered the fried cheese curds, fish & chips, and a burger. Cheese curds were amazing! Will definitely go back.
google avatar

Yelp
This place was a great way to end the day! Filled with locals and the beer was delicious. I really enjoyed the flight and blonde ale the most here. We sat at the bar and everyone was super friendly. Not pictured were the max and cheese with chicken that was also delicious. I have to add this, but we didn't take a picture. The cheesecake here was phenomenal. I love cheesecake and I hardly get it at places because no one does it well. But while we were at the bar the gentleman's seated next to us told us we had to have it so we ordered Togo. && they were not kidding! This place was a solid find && worth stopping in.

Yelp
Good food, great drinks, they have a really awesome selection of both. Usually have to wait a bit for a table but it's worth it!

Yelp
Fantastic food, great service. REALLY great ramen. The menu is creative and well executed. Definitely would be back!

Yelp
Grand slam - great food, great beer, great service, great atmosphere! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Great service and good vegetarian options! I was able to get a seat at the bar after a full day of hiking. The beer flight and impossible burger hit the spot.

Tiffany B.

Yelp
Food was decent, beer was pleasant, the ambience was great! Service was on point. Wasn't disappointed but wasn't impressed
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious. Big portion sizes. Has to wait 20 minutes on a Wednesday so try and make reservations ahead of time if you have a big party. Nice atmosphere.

Yelp
The local brewery house with old fashioned pizza oven has been the best local beer and pizza place for the past five years, and still rocks in 2024. After a two hours of sweating playing Pickleball in the indoor courts, we came to have some cold hazy IPA, brewed right next to the large, spacious bar! The tap beer in a cold mug can't be beat. They make the best dry bone-in chicken wings with Ranch Dressing on the side! The walnut candy apple salad is served generously with all the ingredients! Their low carbohydrate cauliflower pizza with meat lovers topping is to die for. They make the best thin crust pizza in the city bar none. Go and try!

Yelp
Came in on a weekend in August and there was about an hour wait, but you can check-in on your phone and monitor your progress (so we ran a few errands around town and came back when our table was ready). The service was very nice and friendly at first. We got seated at a nice high top, but then were asked if we'd be willing to move tables for a free appetizer. We said no problem, but realized we ended up with the worst seats in the restaurant, all the way in the back next to the kitchen, where dishes were constantly being dumped, and where we heard all the servers chatting. I wish we were warned about what kind of table we were being switched out for. The service was all down hill from there. I ordered a 2nd drink between appetizer and entrée, but it came out after I was finished with my entrée. All the food was fine, typical bar food. We were camping and opted to cook at our campsite the next night instead of eating out again since I'm sure everywhere in town is a similar vibe.

Yelp
great chowder , during holiday time had long wait times, friendly staff , fried calamari was great

Yelp
Big brewing facility in a little coastal town with a good looking food menu. We stopped in for some beers after having lunch elsewhere but after seeing the food we wished we would've ate here. We sat at the bar and ordered a flight of various beers and they were all good. The couple next to us ordered everything on the menu (almost). They had a pizza (wood fired oven) , cheesy garlic bread, cheese curds and Mac & cheese. Apparently it was her birthday and she couldn't make up her mind; my kinda girl. Anyway the food looked and smelled great! Our bartender was great, she was busy and running the bar by herself like a champ. Great visit, we'll have to try the food next time.

Yelp
Oh how much I wanted to enjoy this... We were recommended to come here by a family member who had been in town a few times so we stopped in late in the day (7 pm ish) on a Wednesday evening. It was busy! If we had known about call ahead, we would've done it, but alas, we were quoted a 30-40 minute wait. Over an hour later... our table got called. First knock. Second is our server probably only came to our table a total of three times. And when she did, she was not friendly at all, and never once refilled our drinks. I get being a server isn't easy and they definitely seemed understaffed but she walked past us constantly to go to a table with a large party & lots of drinks so... her priorities weren't hard to determine. For food, we started with a clam chowder which was mediocre. I ordered the nachos for my entree which were actually quite excellent. A ton of toppings, decent portion and good flavor. Husband got the mac & cheese with chicken which he said had so much bacon it overpowered the rest of the dish. We love bacon so that's actually an accomplishment. Took us FOREVER to flag down our waitress to get the check, finally told the manager and it even took him awhile to get her there. Just not super impressed overall.

Yelp
After visiting Stout Grove trail, this joint hit the spot! Outdoor seating wasn't full but the hot sun beat us down! Had to switch to a table with shade. Ordering was easy, our drinks came first then our food. - California Burger was good but could use a bit more seasoning in the meat. - Tex Mex Salad was very refreshing and a great portion for a hungry 16 year old. - Fish and Chips was also good. Fish had a bit more batter breading but was crunchy and paired well with the tartar sauce. Overall it was good and glad we came out to eat at this establishment.
google avatar

Veronica Y.

Yelp
After a day in the redwoods, this was a great way to end the day! - Wings: really appreciated the amount we got! Crispy and love that the blue cheese sauce actually had a good amount of blue cheese. - Snapper: the fish was tender, the sauce was creamy and tangy but the rice was so overcooked it bordered on congee - Fried chicken sandwich: really great sandwich -- soft brioche bun, crispy chicken and the cabbage/carrot slaw was wonderful and generous -Strawberry salad: SO good! Fresh, packed with good stuff (strawberry, feta, chicken), great dressing - Clam chowder - meh, pass. Didnt have the seafood-y flavor and was bland - Fish and chips - pretty good. Fish was cooked well but breading was just a little on the heavy side - The 9.2 burger: excellent with a really nice char flavor! Beers were great -- especially loved the peach wheat, the Kamone, and the passionfruit hard cider (I'm not an IPA fan, so do with that as you wish)

Yelp
The goods first: outside seating nice, building clean and in good condition, service great.. The bad: mixed drinks seem weak, food not great just average, price on the higher side... Would I go again, maybe if I was in town but definitely not a place I would go out of my way for.. it's a shame Cresent City could really use a great, and fun place to go..
google avatar

Yelp
Fish tacos were fresh and tasty with a good zing. Kids cheese pizza looked legit but I didn't get a taste because it was all eaten. Their beer was a good variety and totally drinkable although several major flagship brews were not available. Wonderful greeter and fair table service. We will return to this family friendly restaurant on our next trip to town.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here on our road trip last week. There was a little wait for a table but it didn't take too long. I'm not a beer person but my husband is. He enjoyed his beer and I had a Signature lemon drop martini, the strawberry option. It was really good! I ordered the nachos and they were so delicious. Huge serving too!

Yelp
We had an amazing lunch yesterday at Sea Quake in Crescent City, California that we ate lunch there again today! The food was delicious and service was stellar! Our server, Alicia, was great! She remembered us and what we ordered! She has the heart and passion for excellence! The restaurant has a great atmosphere with spacious indoor dining and nice outdoor seating as well. Go early because it gets busy and there was a line today. I highly recommend the nachos! I had the nachos as my meal and they are absolutely amazing and the serving is huge! Great place, we were only in the area four days and ate lunch here 3 times!

Yelp
Came in January (so it was pretty cold outside) but we are traveling with our dog, and they have a dog friendly patio so we decided to give it a try while exploring crescent city. This was such a great find. The service was fantastic, they seated us right away and came out to turn on a heater for us. Our server gave great recommendations, the food came out quickly and was all delicious. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful as well. We would definitely go back if we were ever in the area again and would recommend giving them a try. Good prices, huge portions and everything was delicious.
