In my opinion, this property is the best in class among the Sea Shell resorts I visited (Port Blair and Neil Island). It definitely offers a superior, spacious, and relaxing resort-style experience. I loved the charming cottage-style setup with its extensive grounds; there was plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the ambiance. The entire property was neatly maintained, and my room was consistently clean. My Take on Features and Amenities Pool & Wellness: The resort has a reasonably large swimming pool and a jacuzzi, which were great options for relaxation. Ambiance: The night walk around the property is something I highly recommend! The decorative lights created a truly beautiful and calming atmosphere. Beach Access: The hotel offers private beach access. I should note, however, that the beach is difficult to stand on due to the abundance of dead corals. Dining: The breakfast was good. My only complaint was that the non-vegetarian options were very limited, consisting only of chicken sausages. Family Note: While the property is huge and has a great resort feel, it sadly lacks any dedicated playing area for children. My Verdict I found the Sea Shell in Havelock to be a fantastic choice. It's a high-quality, spacious, and well-maintained retreat with clearly superior amenities compared to its sister properties. If you're comfortable with the limited children's facilities and the coral-heavy private beach, the large pool complex and beautiful grounds make it ideal for unwinding.

We travelled as a very large group, consisting of 5 families, 16 people. We took 5 rooms in the property. The overall feel of the stay was very comfortable with all basic facilities required. Particularly, the resort manager, Ms. KARISHMA SHARMA was extremely helpful, and went out of the way to comfort us during our stay. The hotel also offers suggestions and some tours, worth exploring. Andaman is a state with less developed infrastructure, yet the hotel seems no less than a fully developed space to live comfortably, even with young kids. Food is a highlight. Excellent vegetarian options are Availbale. So if you are someone used to luxury stay, yet don’t want to spend crazy on the only taj property while at Andaman, seashell is definitely a good choice, or your only choice…

We stayed at Sea Shell, Havelock Island last September during a family vacation. Consistent with other Sea Shell properties across Andaman, this location is situated conveniently near the Jetty. The property itself covers a larger area compared to their Port Blair establishment, and our stay was comfortable. We particularly enjoyed dining at High Tide Bar/Restaurant; the lobster served at dinner was especially satisfying. However, there are areas for improvement. For instance, the morning restaurant staff at White Lotus would benefit from additional training. During our two-day visit, we were repeatedly asked for our room number on both occasions, although the standard procedure typically involves verifying this at the entry point against an existing list. Additionally, orders such as omelettes and dosas took an extended amount of time to arrive due to confusion during order-taking—even though it was off-season. This raises concerns regarding service efficiency during peak holiday periods. Furthermore, there was a notable lack of assistance with cab bookings. While other locations within the same hotel chain offer this service, it was not available at this property. The cottages are nice, but using old lock-and-key doors instead of card access is outdated for the premium price.

An Excellent Stay at Sea Shell Havelock: Culinary Delights and Top-Notch Service ​Our recent stay at Hotel Sea Shell Havelock was genuinely pleasant and memorable. The resort boasts a fantastic location and the service across the property was consistently commendable. ​Exceptional Dining Experience ​The culinary experience was the absolute highlight of our trip. Hats off to the chef—the food here is truly top-notch! We tasted some of the most delicious and perfectly balanced spiced vegetarian dishes. The Daal Dilruba at the in-house White Lotus restaurant was a particular favourite and definitely a must-try. The breakfast spreads were also very satisfying, providing a great start to our days. ​Outstanding Bar Service ​We thoroughly enjoyed our time unwinding at the Hide Tide bar. The service provided by Akhraju and the other bartenders was excellent. They were attentive and made the atmosphere truly enjoyable. ​A Note on Nature Integration ​While we appreciate the resort's beautiful, lush green exterior, we did encounter one minor concern. Due to the surrounding greenery, we were surprised to spot a lizard and a small mouse in our room during the stay. We recommend the management consider locking or sealing the gap at the very bottom of the room doors to prevent small creatures from entering, ensuring a completely seamless indoor experience for guests. ​Despite this small issue, the overall quality of the stay—driven by the beautiful location, attentive service, and particularly the phenomenal food—makes Sea Shell Havelock a highly recommended resort. We look forward to our next visit!

Nicely located a short drive from the Jetty. Has a small strip of sand and mangroves very helpful and courteous staff. Very nicely done cottages amid tastefully planted dense plantation. There is full privacy and quiet even with high occupancy. Rooms are neat clean very tastefully done.||The White Lotus serves very nice food, the other other two restaurants are into starters and light repast.||We stayed two nights during Diwali made sweeter by the hotel providing a surprise complimentary plate of sweets.

i stayed at the beautiful property of SeaShell Havelock for my 21st birthday and it was the best decision ever. Sujata, Anupam and rest of the SeaShell team made the stay very comfortable and memorable. They always went to extra mile to make sure we get the best service. Will come back to Andaman just to stay here again ❤️

The property has an amazing private beach, luxurious rooms and the most friendly staff. The staff made the experience even better. Raju from the reception, Akram from the reception and, Sagnik from the activity center. I would highly recommend visiting the spa and going on the marine trail, if you stay at this property.

Loved the experience here. Well maintained property with mutiple in house restaurants which provide good food. The mangroves adjoining the resort is a perfect place to wind up with a book and enjoy a relaxing nap.
