Seashore Condo Hotel

We have stayed here the past 3 years but this time was a little disappointed. The location is great. The service has changed and so have the owners. It isn't the same welcoming experience. Typically, we stay in a beautiful room and didn't realize (from the pictures) it wasn't what we thought. It wasn't renovated and not as comfortable. We absolutely love the beachy location. We do not expect to be in the room a lot but still enjoy a nice room!

We've just come back from a wonderful weekend at this lovely condo hotel. We can't wait to return! The amenities were fantastic-- a peaceful room with efficiency kitchen, large outdoor areas for lounging, reading, and grilling. There were beach chairs and towels, bikes to rent, an outdoor shower, etc. It's a very quick walk to a spectacular beach, and a nice stroll to the center of town where we had a top-notch dinner at Rachel's (don't miss it!). The ferry is very close, so it's no problem not having a car. In fact, it was wonderful to have a break from traffic noise on this quiet, jewel of an island. Jeff and Brett are very friendly and helpful-- they can answer all of your questions!

My stay at the Seashore Condo Hotel was an absolute delight. I was warmly greeted by the owners Jeffrey and Brett for a relaxing beach side stay. The amenities were great, the beds very comfortable, a great tuck shop when you get peckish after all the shops were closed and the bike rental was super handy. My favorite offering was the outdoor shower, which has a great piece of landscaping leading into it with a massive rainfall shower head. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This is the second year that we stayed at the Seashore Hotel, and the experience was even better than last year. Some money was spent on the property, with a new fence and lots of planters with colorful flowers on the deck. The managers were as lovely and hospitable as ever, and very accommodating. They allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after we checked out to enjoy the beach on our last day, and also said it was fine to use the outdoor shower to get cleaned up before we got back on the ferry. These folks are awesome, and we will be recommending this hotel to as many people as possible. It's a great place with great value. Well done, Brett and Jeff!

This was our first time visiting Fire Island, and we will ABSOLUTELY come again and stay here! Jeff and Brett are the most amazing hosts and make you feel like family. The Seashore Condo Hotel was in the best location. Everything you need to enjoy the beach is provided so you don't have to bring it with you, from beach towels, chairs, to umbrellas! You will be thankful you chose the Seashore Condo Hotel!

We stayed in room 18. It has been recently renovated and it is beautiful and functional. It has a refrigerator and freezer so I always had Ice on hand. The AC is a beast, kept the place very cool and a super soft bed. You don't need to bring much. They supply towels for the room and beach, beach chairs, coffee and even bike rentals. We would highly recommend Seashore Condo Hotel

Had to give a one start because we had an emergency & couldn't stay. I tried reaching out to the Hotel several times asking for a refund or possibly stay another time! No Results by phone or email!! Never had an opportunity to give a Real Review!!

My husband and I love staying at Seashore Condo Hotel. This is our 4th time and it doesn’t disappoint. Room 16 , 2nd floor. - Accommodations were beautiful. Newly renovated bathroom! Location has a wonderful sense of community to relax with friends and other guests. We plan to be back!

We just returned from 5 glorious days at Seashore condos hotel at Ocean Bay Park Fire Island. We have stayed there many times over many years. Wouldnt consider staying anywhere else. Jeff and Brett are the greatest and run this hotel beautifully. Rooms are immaculate and outside decor is very beautiful. Flowers and plants all over make this place so inviting. Thanks to Jeff and Brett's hard work this place is just special. We have developed a bond with the them and we are so grateful. See you next summer Gwen&Cliff Cobb

Worst experience of my life!!!! Bed had bugs!! Smelled bad!!! Management is rude stay away!!

My cousin and I enjoyed staying at this Hotel. I got up early to watch the sun & sky on the couches they have on the deck. Everyone thought I slept there & got kicked out of my room, I'm not sure why .. I guess nobody watches the sunrise? It was a fun weekend. If you've been camping before, you won't mind this stay in fire island. We didn't stay in the room much except to sleep. The room was cozy- stocked with extra blankets. I left my iPhone charger in the room right by the lamp. We called to try and get it back after a few hours... allegedly there was no iPhone charger

We did a weekend at the end of the 2020 season. Very relaxing time of year to go to Fire Island. The hosts, Brett and Jeff were awesome and the "owners" of the condo units were very cool. Very friendly and comfortable place to stay while visiting FI. The room. Is super small but they do a lot with the space. It's clean and comfortable. I would definitely come back here and stay again.

After 100 days in Covid-19 quarantine, my wife and I booked a last minute room at the Seashore. What a welcome break! It was the perfect weekend getaway. Room #10 was clean and tidy and, while not exactly spacious, we really only slept, showered, and changed in the room so it worked for the two of us. The air conditioner kept us cool and the tv settled us into bed at night. We took full advantage of the refrigerator as we bought lots of food and beverages (local prices are insane). The pillows were foam and sheets were synthetic microfiber, so if you're picky about linens you're on your own. We didn't really mind any of it. We used the BBQs each day and ate at the picnic table on the deck. We spent the late afternoons at the beach and the crowds thinned after 3pm (safe sun hours) or so. By 6pm we had the beach to ourselves. It was glorious. I highly recommend the Seashore for a quick getaway. We can't wait to return. Special thanks to Brett and Jeff.

Jeff and Brett made our stay wonderful. They give a great deal to attention and it shows. What a treat to wake up in the morning, step out of my immaculate room , look at the bay and have the fresh breeze of clean air. I will go back, again and again.

Incredible place with a perfect location. Brett and Jeff make it a point to make you feel welcome and at home. The room was clean and my view was exceptional. The fresh, hot coffee in the morning was a wonderful touch. I've already recommended it to my friends and family. Such a nice getaway!

It was a very cozy hotel. The owner's were awesome! They paid very close attention to detail! The rooms were clean and we were able to check in before 3. Not to me mention a BEAUTIFUL view and location was perfect! I highly recommend going back. Christine Macchia

Everything was perfect! Jeff and Brett were very friendly and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect... and it was! Only stayed for 1 night but I wish we could've stayed longer! Definitely will be staying here again! Perfect location, room was extremely clean and beautifully decorated, outdoor decor was lovely. We checked out at 11am but stayed for the rest of the day... we were able to leave our bags and chairs while we went to the beach and Flynn's. We were still able to use the bathroom and outdoor shower. They provide beach towels and chairs if needed! Highly recommend!!!

I've been coming to the Seashore Condo Hotel for 6 years now. What a wonderful place, just a block from the ferry, across the street from the bay and 2 blocks from the ocean! The rooms are super clean and comfortable, the deck is spacious and welcoming and the managers, Jeffrey and Brett, are amazing hosts! They provide towels, beach chairs and umbrellas so you don't need to bring them on the boat. They can give you great suggestions for eating out or you can cook on the grills. When I come with just one friend we stay in room #5, if I come with a group we stay in the 2 bedroom suite. It's always a great time!

I have visited the Seashore Condo Hotel a number of times over the past few years, and it has been stellar every single time! I have stayed in room 5, which is nicely appointed, spotlessly clean (as is the entire place), and quiet! The hosts, Jeffrey and Brett, bend over backwards to make every guest's stay special, and are so friendly and accommodating. You won't regret staying at the Seashore!

Very pleasantly surprised at the Seashore Condo Hotel. Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculate! It was perfect for our family of five. Our beds were very comfortable. Our hosts explained the COVID house rules and amenities upon check-in. They were very hospitable throughout our stay. They happily provided the beach umbrellas that we had left at home and offered anything else we might need. The community patio definitely added to the laid back ambiance of this great facility. Thanks so much for everything Brett and Jeff! We will definitely return on our next trip to Ocean Bay Park, the friendliest community on Fire Island. Highly recommend!

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Fire Island Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and the Suite very clean and cozy. The staff was extremely friendly. We had two great evenings here. Thank you and we will see you soon. Orson

We spent the weekend here and had the best time. Brett and Jeff are great hosts always available and willing to help the guests. The rooms are really nice and clean. They have beach chairs and umbrellas for their guests and the outdoor shower is amazing. We will definitely be back next summer.

Such a great hotel - great location right on the bay in Ocean Bay Park. Beautiful, clean, rustic well-maintained rooms and wonderful common areas to relax and have an alfresco breakfast. The best outdoor shower on Fire Island! Walking distance to Ocean Beach and many shops and restaurants. Brett and Jeff are wonderful hosts!! Couldn't ask for more! Will definitely return!!

A lovely, well appointed and charming beach hotel run by lovely hosts! They have considered all details and seem quietly obsessed in meticulously maintaining the property so it's comfortable and chic! Use their brand new chairs, umbrellas and towels for the best beach days! Truly stellar hospitality!

What a charming place to stay! The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. The location could not have been more perfect, and coffee out on the deck each morning was so lovely. We will definitely return.

If you're Looking for a boutique Hotel with utmost cleanliness and charm this would be the place by far. I am very familiar with fire Island being I live directly across the bay and I have stayed many other places that consider themselves hotel motel whatever you wanna call them.. 95%. Are full of drunk loud people and are filthy ,this is coming from an executive food and beverage manager for Marriott hotel Corp. & my sufisticated wife. The two of us were greeted by both the owners Jeff and Brent friendly and professionally right off the bat on top of me calling a few times and asking some inquisitive questions prior. We chose a room with a balcony fresh clean spotless designed well and had all the items with me to enjoy your stay, They provided well needed beach chairs , ( the Tommy Bahama chairs which were new and clean, beach towels and umbrellas) In which taking more than one bag on the ferry I'll charge you 10 more dollars so you end up saving money and not having to load these extra items with you was another personal and professional touch. They are a one minute walk from the Ocean Bay park right on the bay with a fantastic view. On the first level they offered different snacks and beverages with a three dollar trust policy Jar never see that anymore. Play grounds of the hotel I dressed with beautiful colorful exotic flowers not the usual weed beds and as for cleanliness and it's entirety every night I watched one of the owners cleaning by hand every individual piece of the property. The only complaint I would see someone( not I )saying something negative about would be the size of the room however it was furnished and decorated with such perfect taste not overly cluttered just exactly what a person needs..If I was to change anything would be the name and I will call it "The petite eden " cause that's how we felt the 3 C's comfy,, clean and cozy .... So five stars is all they let you rate my review/post.. they definitely are true to that and then some. Can't wait to go back and stay again during the off-season which is very affordable and such a beautiful time of year.

Jeff and Brett are great hosts! Our room was super cute and clean. Would definitely stay again. The location is perfect and we didn't even get to take advantage of the many amenities that they offer (bikes, beach chairs, carts, umbrellas, grills, etc). I left a towel and other item of clothing outside by accident and woke up in the morning to it washed, dried, folded and delivered to my room. I can't say enough good things about them. If you're thinking of booking, don't hesitate.

Very much enjoyed our stay here! Brett and Jeff were incredibly gracious and welcoming and you can tell they work very hard to ensure guests are comfortable and happy. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. I will certainly be coming back and will be recommending this place to friends and family. Loved it!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I never leave reviews but wanted to come on here to say don't think twice about staying here! The staff is so welcoming & accommodating. The place was so clean and it was perfect distance from the ferry. We had the best stay here and will definitely be going back! We stayed in room 001 & it was very spacious with a nice kitchen area, living room and 2 bedrooms. There was a day bed also which was an actual twin bed mattress and an additional one underneath. That was so much better then the usual pull out couch mattresses it was basically as comfortable as a real bed. Thanks to the staff for making our stay so great!!!

This was what the Dr. ordered! A lovely welcoming place to stay in wonderful Fire Island. Jeff, the proprietor was the best! So helpful and accommodating. The room was immaculate. The outdoor decks are a great place to relax, have a drink, read, or talk with the friendly guests. Close to the beach.

We had the greatest weekend on Fire Island in large part due to the location and service of the Seashore. It is steps away from the ferry and two beach bar/restaurants and a very short walk to the ocean. Brett and Jeff were always available to provide us with whatever we needed. Beach chairs, towels and umbrellas were free of charge - it was so nice not to have to drag all that stuff onto the ferry. Bikes were also available to rent. The rooms had a retro beach motel feel - but were very clean and very comfortable. Everything about the place seemed to induce relaxation. I cannot wait to go back!!

We stayed here this past week and it's couldn't have been better. The hosts , Brett and Jeff, were extremely kind and thought of everything - even putting out a bucket of umbrellas when there was a chance of rain in the forecast. The hotel was very comfortable and immaculately clean. We will def be returning guests !!! Thx again

Jeff was by far the best host we have ever had at either a hotel/motel or Air B&B. He was attentive, kind, and fun. The Seashore has so many amazing amenities that are usually unavailable at a beach hotel. Some of which include, an amazing outdoor seating space, grills, complimentary beach towels and chairs to borrow, and cooking and dining tools. The outdoor shower is beautiful and such a fun experience to enjoy on a beach vacation. The rooms are immaculate and also have private restrooms. The village in Ocean Beach is a comfortable walk from the motel and bikes are also available to rent if you wish. We see no reason why we would ever stay anywhere else on Fire Island!

I just returned from the most restful weekend at the Seashore Condo Motel. We've stayed there several times and they never disappoint. Having been guests in various different rooms we just spent a long weekend in the room with it's own private balcony/deck. There's both sun and shade, loveseat, café table and lounge "gravity" chairs that are perfect for relaxing as you watch the ferries come and go across the great South Bay. We also caught the most magnificent sunrises, prompting an early stroll on the beach - EMPTY, like your own private paradise. The beds are comfortable, AC works great and the room and bath are spotless. You'll be pleasantly embraced by the management team, there if you need but happy to give you all the privacy to enjoy the common areas for sun, reading, games, grilling. PS There's a separate designated smoking area. I like that it keeps it away from me without alienating those who choose to smoke. Worth every penny!

We had a great time here last weekend! Jeff was so helpful and friendly. We came just before the season started, so there weren't a lot of people around, but he made us feel really welcome. The room was cute and clean, everything we needed, and nice little touches like coffee in the morning and rental bikes. Would definitely come back!

Affordable lodging near great beaches and fun bars/restaurants. This hotel had everything we needed for a weekend of fun and beautiful weather. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back soon!

Definitely a great bang for your buck. The manager Jeff is fabulous- very accommodating and helpful (we rented our bikes within the first 10 min of our arrival!) This spot has a campy/kitchy/NE island vibe for sure- so don't expect any chocolate on your pillow or turned down service, but the rooms are clean, (albeit a little dated) and the bed was insanely comfortable. There was also a mini-fridge and microwave in the room where we housed our wine and beer. The location is great! Quick 10 min bike ride to lots of bars and restaurants and 4 blocks to the beach.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Sea Shore. Jeff the manager was attentive, thoughtful and kind--definitely made us feel comfortable and welcome. The room we had was clean and cute and the AC was fantastic and the location was really convenient. We made great use of their outdoor seating and their beach gear, and appreciated getting to rent bikes from the motel itself. Definitely the best way to see the Island! We stopped by a few of the other hotels on the island but they were far noisier--in contrast, the Sea Shore was a sweet and relaxed oasis. We hope to go back next summer!

Great management, clean and convenient. I highly recommend Seashore Condo Motel if you're looking for a nice, low-key, friendly atmosphere that is in close proximity to the bay, beach and bars. Our room was rather small but very comfortable overall. I loved that we had access to a grill. So I would suggest bringing some goodies from home and have a small BBQ.

This is by far one of the best places to stay on the Island in Ocean Bay Park. Ive been here a dozen times , Quite place, no loud crowds like some other places. Jeff who is the manager here is so nice and always goes out of his way for you. Jeremy the owner is super sweet and very flexible. The rooms are clean and the deck is relaxing and peaceful. Thanks again for never disapointing

What a pleasant surprise this was. We were expecting something basic at these prices, but the accommodation and the friendly service were what I would expect to find at a luxury resort. We were welcomed and made to feel at home immediately. Our room was immaculate and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Jeff and Brett told us about the history of the Island and gave us excellent advice as to which sights to see during our much too brief visit. There are so many examples of their consideration and kindness that will definitely return next year.

Jeff the manager was very attentive and a great host. The power went out for a few hours so he gave us a portable charger for our phones. Definitely recommend. Great hospitality! Very upbeat and lively, great for people attending Flynns, will stay again

I was in the most beautiful room at this hotel looking out into the Bay; Room 19. It had a memory foam queen size mattress. The bathroom and shower were in two separate areas of the room. Loved it! I was switched to this room because the one I was in was tripping a circuit breaker. That almost never happens so I got very lucky. They were very nice to move me there too at no extra charge and I offered. The owner was there to repair circuitry the next day so the hotel is well maintained. It's obvious too since the place is very clean. However, make sure you sign up for the right room if you care! I am unsure if all rooms are equally as beautiful as the one I was in but now think it is worth paying a little more for the upgrade. The manager as other people stated, is beyond friendly and helpful. He wants to make sure you are comfortable and happy during your stay. It was always a pleasure to speak with him. I also paid a small fee to stay for the day (and part of the evening even), use the outdoor shower/facilities and guests have access to beach towels and chairs for free. This hotel caters to a sophisticated crowd too. It's difficult to find good choices in Fire Island but this is a definite good one if you are headed to Ocean Bay Park for sure.

I stayed here for a friends weekend with 11 friends in various rooms. All the rooms were great and had exactly what we needed. The manager, Jeff, was so accommodating and helpful. It was great not having to lug beach chairs and umbrellas over since they have them available for all the guests. There is also an ice maker, coffee and water in the common area... another plus! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

There's not enough I can say about Jeff (the manager) he is super welcoming and informative. My friend and I stayed the weekend and it was lovely. The room was small but very clean and included a full size fridge and microwave. I am a fan, and will definitely stay there when back in Fire Island.

I write to ask if I can rent a condo for my family. They apparently won't rent to families with children on the weekend during high season! No where does it say this on their website.

Stayed at this hotel last weekend and we couldn't be happier! The rooms are small, but clean. Our room had a fridge, TV, and an AC blasting 24/7. There's really not much more you need when you're at the beach all day. Jeff the manager was so helpful! Anything you needed and he was always there with a smile. I would totally recommend this place for anyone who wants to stay at OBP. Thanks again to Jeff for making our stay so amazing!

Very reasonably priced, cute and campy vibe. Socrates, the manager, was amazing--friendly, funny, and very accommodating. He provided free towels and chairs for the beach, bike rentals for $15/day, and even hair dryers when ours broke. Great deck out front with tables, chairs, and loungers to chill with a book, take the sun, enjoy a morning coffee, or a pre-dinner drink. We also had our own full-sized fridge. The motel is a stone's throw from the ferry dock and 2 short blocks to the beach. The more scenic and sceney Ocean Bay Park is about a 15-20 minute walk. Lots of shops, bars, and restaurants there. You can also bike or take a water taxi. It's not the Four Seasons, but we greatly enjoyed our stay. TIPS: BYO sheets, snacks, and toiletries. Food and drinks are pricey. That's a pretty general fire island rule, no matter where you stay.

Just back from my 14th year at the sscm and once again I am more than pleased. The staff and owners are accommodating in every way. The rooms as well as the common area are clean and neat. I wouldn't stay anyplace else while on Fire Island.

Such a wonderful place! The owners and manager are amazing and totally accommodating. It's steps from the ferry and just 2 small blocks from the beach. It's very quiet and quaint. They have a patio deck where you can hang out. Fridge is in the room as well as showers. There are also outdoor showers. Great for couples looking to get away. They have bikes you can rent and ride into town. Maguires and island mermaid were great for dinner and Rachel's for a sit down breakfast. We can't wait to go back again.
