Seaside Metal Oyster Bar

Wonderful chefs, staff, and food make this a must-go place when near Guerneville. Happy hour $1.50 oysters with a great wine selection and menu of snacks up to full entrees round out a great experience for solo or small groups. They have a dish that's on menu sporadically which is unique and delicious. They call it bacon of the sea; sous vide octopus hood that's then finished on the plancha. It's smokey and wonderfully crispy.

What a lovely experience. It was a quiet Thursday evening and we picked our own table. Our server had intimate knowledge of the wine and food menu and steered us towards local specialties and oddities that we wouldn't find everywhere. You MUST try their Scallop Aquachile if it is still on the menu, it starts of salty and spicy and morphs to a luscious savory scallop finish. The chowder is also as good as everyone says with its seafood medley. Haven't tried any other restaurants in the area yet but this is a must-see

Good food across from Johnson's beach. Definitely check out the mussles & oysters during happy hour. Be sure to try out their clam chowder as well.

This place is pretty unassuming from the outside, but the food was truly delicious. We got there in time for the 5 to 6 happy hour, which featured a really nice crisp Vinho Verde. We sampled a lot of the menu but the highlight was the halibut crudo with a nectarine-Fresno chili aquachile. Few octopus was also outstanding.

Fresh and delicious....very clean, especially for an oyster bar. It should be $$$, as portions are small and it is a little pricey. None the less, it was very good!

Must stop tapas place in Guerneville, CA. Fresh seafood you can taste the quality. Excellent service. Lots of wine selection from local winery. You might need to call in for reservations everytime we were here always full house.

Such a great seafood restaurant. Locals are lucky to have this place. I wish I had constant access to their chowder.
