An okay hotel if you don't need Wi-Fi. The Internet here only works in the mornings and late evenings, when everyone is already asleep. The rest of the time, it’s easier to swim across the Mekong than to open a Google page. It is also difficult to find a cafe with normal internet near the hotel. It seems like no one uses it. I advise you to buy a SIM card to stay in touch. There is an embankment next to the hotel, but if you suddenly thought that you would be looking at a beautiful river, you are very mistaken. The river has dried up so much that it takes only 30 minutes to reach it from here. And on the embankment all that is visible is grass and a dusty road. The rooms are not very clean, there are stains on the pillows and blanket. The towels look like they have been in use for 100 years. Breakfast is normal: vegetables (onion, tomato, carrot, pepper), rice, porridge, omelet, scrambled eggs, meat, sausages. You can make toast with butter or jam. There are no tuk-tuks here, so you can try your luck on the main street. Workers are talking loudly in the corridor in the morning; soundproofing here is a made-up word. You can exchange Thai baht for kip. The toilet in my room drained very slowly. I had to turn off the water and wait for it to drain. Shampoo does not wash hair. The toilet is located next to the balcony, the balcony is small, but there is one.
