Love, love, love Seaspray Hotel! Stayed in March and again in July '25. Staff are attentive, responsive, and accommodating...and just plain nice people. Location is perfect: walking distance to everything in Placencia Village. Stayed in a regular room in March and was lucky enough to land THE Cabana (#14) for my 7-night stay in July..wonderful for my long visit as I worked in the morning, hit the beach in the afternoon, and had dinner along the Placencia Sidewalk in the evenings. Nice stroll south along the beach to the wonderful beach Municipal Pier.

Beach side hotel. Basic/simple accommodation. Compact room. Excellent value for money and close to a number of eateries and bars.

Shabby outside, nice heart. Find it hard to give a balanced rating in this special place. Let's be honest, please paint the outside. And do just a little more decoration. But the location is real nice at the boardwalk, the room was clean, the towels fresh, a super cute plus was the pots with coffee, creamer and sugar , a fridge, microwave and coffee machine in the room, so we could start the day on the balcony in a hammock with view on the sea and coffee. I had to get used to the noise of the waves breaking.

This is the oldest hotel on the sidewalk and is a wonderful accommodation. The rooms are clean, a/c works great, WiFi is strong, beds are comfy, and you can’t beat the location. I took a large group and had zero complaints. We’ll be back!

For those seeking a sea side, budget wise getaway, this is it. With only 19 rooms it is not a bustling, over crowded place at all. But a laid back location. 4 local restaurants a stones throw away (also on the water). Rustic but clean. Water and beach are excellent. The concrete walkway for the areas artistic shops is art the rear of the site.

Great location in the middle of everything on the sidewalk. Great value and our balcony on top floor unit and patio on bottom unit were looking at the sand. The office staff were helpful and friendly.

This was a great place to stay for a modest price ($75 a night, and we had our own private balcony with a hammock, 40 feet from the beach). We stayed for 3 weekends, checking in on Fridays and checking out on Monday. The room was clean, and the fridge/ freezer was very much appreciated, as was the microwave and dishes in the room. You can tell everyone there takes pride in their work, and that's why the staff was the best part of the stay. Everyone who we met there was SO nice and helpful. Our room was always clean, and ready for us hours before check in. The housekeeping staff was always around and asking if we needed anything else for the room. They found one half of an expensive pair of sneakers we had accidentally left behind, and held it in the office until we returned the next weekend. The office staff was helpful in making sure our taxis and tour guides didn't leave without us, coming so far as to personally get us from our room and calling taxis for us. The location was perfect. We never had more than a ten minute walk to reach stores, restaurants, or the water taxi. The wifi did have a tendency to go in and out pretty often, but this seemed normal for every other place we visited as well. All in all, we absolutely will be coming back to Placencia, and we will definitely be staying here again when that happens.

Great for budget stays. My little tiny complaint about the economy room, there was only 1 outlet that I could find, and the fridge and fan were both plugged in. I went to the supermarket and bought an extension cord so I could plug my phone in and not have to give up the fan. I left the cord to hopefully pay it forward to the next person. Location is fantastic, it's right on the sidewalk.
