Cool likkle spot off the west end road. After several weeks in Jamaica it was refreshing to stop by meet Chris 🇨🇦 and have a straight conversation in English, lol. Seems people who stay here always return, maybe for the French fries 🍟

I'd definitely recommend here. This is a very homely, peaceful and quiet place. The staff is very welcoming, helpful, respectful and professional. The food is done to order which requires a wait time but it gives you the time to enjoy the scenery while waiting just to be greeted with a delicious meal. The rooms are very spacious, inviting and comfortable. If your seeking somewhere peaceful and quiet then this is the place to be. You won't regret your stay because everyone there is very nice.

I would say the location is good it's a stone throw from the world's famous Rick's Cafe. The rooms are pretty basic-furniture outdated. This property has great potential just need some TLC.

This property is located in a side street riddled with potholes off the main road. Not beachfront. It is surrounded by trees with walking paths to each building where rooms are located. Some paths are inaccessible due to heavy silt/mud. The rooms are kept clean but is not impressive. The pictures online apparently reflect a better version of this place in times gone by.The wardrobe is in disrepair old and musty, could not unpack clothing. The kitchenette is bare with just an old mini fridge. There are no utensils or cups/plates. Could not reheat food purchased outside the premises as there is no microwave in the room or even a kettle. Travelled with infants and getting hot water for their tea was an inconvenience of having to leave rooms and head to the open dining area downstairs to use the restaurant’s kettle. The baths leaked, there were ants, roaches and lizards frequenting the rooms. I guess because of being surrounded by trees and plants. The internet service was terrible. We couldn’t watch tv or use internet based apps as the WiFi was weak. There is a pool table upstairs of the main dining area however that space is not maintained as it was dusty with old broken chairs and it looks more like storage. At one end of the property there is a trampoline and a small area with swings and a little slide for kids but that too is not quite operational. On a more positive note, the complimentary breakfast was excellent. The restaurant’s food was delicious. The pool was kept clean and cleaning staff came around everyday asking if we needed cleaning, change of bedding or towels. The property is located within close proximity of Rick’s Cafe.

The rooms we had were excellent , the complementary breakfast substantial and well presented, and the staff were very nice people. The resort overall is a little faded and in need of a minor makeover, but that is to be expected given the modest price. I would stay here again if I were to return to Negril

We (2 couples) stayed at the Seastar Inn in early April for 4 nights. First impressions were not stellar. We arrived on a Wednesday around dinner time and the owner was high as a kite. He showed us to our rooms but barely said 10 words to us. The safe in our room was broken and the other room didn’t even have a safe. We were woken up frequently at night by barking dogs and the roosters let us know it was morning. That being said, the beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. The AC worked well too. Daily maid service was provided. ||We used the pool daily, which was clean and refreshing. Most days, we had the pool to ourselves. The furniture surrounding the pool is very worn down, most of the chairs are broken. The hot tub was unusable, broken while we were there. The exterior of the resort, as a whole, could use a lot TLC. Fresh paint, flowers, and vegetation could really bring this place to the next level. ||We had dinner at The Seastar one night and everyone’s food was excellent. Breakfast, which was included, was consistently good. Cold Red Stripe was $3 USD or they have a bucket deal, 6 for $12 USD. The owner was able to get a sporting event on the TV for us to watch one evening at the bar. They do advertise themselves as a “sports bar”, but there is only one TV in that space. ||The location of this resort is what was attractive to us when booking. It was a five minute walk to Rick’s Cafe, Ivan’s, LTU Pub, etc. Definitely recommend the jerk chicken at Kool Vybes. 10 out of 10! ||Overall, The Seastar is a great bang for your buck. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations, then keep moving. This place is small, quiet, relaxing and affordable. Staff is friendly, food is delicious, and the drinks are cold.

Wow! Our flight was late and and Chris, Francine, and staff stayed open well past 11:30 to serve us. The grounds and rooms remind me of jersey shore. A little rundown but very clean. Not high end but adequate. The owner and his wife are awesome. My daughter loved the playground. Prices were so reasonable. Great location across from Ricks. The shuttle was perfect. 10 stars.
