Liked: The river close by was lovely, good ambience for sleeping. Toilets are close by and cleaned daily. Showers were large, clean and hot. Hikes available from the camp site. Pizza on a Saturday was amazing. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Disliked: Most camping pitches next to the car park but not all of them. The walk to the showers is along a public road. Pitches close together. Mosquitoes/bugs were plentiful end of May so couldn’t sit outside. No fire pits to rent. Scout site used by scouts and D of E groups.

Liked: We loved everything about Seatoller campsite. Gorgeous scenery, fantastic facilities and we felt very welcomed. Great to have a cafe and gift shop selling excellent farm produce. The cleanest toilets and showers we've ever found on a campsite. Just the right size too with plenty of space to set up our car and roof tent. Perfect. Despite thinking there would be no mobile signal I had 4G on my EE phone which was a bonus.

Liked: Great view into the valley which is surrounded by the beautiful hills. Excellent spot to start your hikes. The pitches for tents and campervans are spacious. The toilets are very clean and always soap & toilet paper available. The showers are warm and the short walk is no issue at all. The camping is surrounded by meadows full of sheep with lambs which treated us at funny and sweet views. Some sheep managed to escape and walked between the tents on the camping as well, so nice! Daniel and Ruby are very friendly hosts. This is a spot I’d love to come back to! Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Location and easy access. Small and well laid out. The whole place had a relaxed feel about it. Pub with great food in easy walking distance. Bus connections to Keswick and Buttermere Disliked: This isn't a dislike ... but the shower location was a bit quirky 😂

Liked: Daniel and ruby were so helpful and attentive, the site was marked with clear signs clean toilets easy to access bins and lots of utilities, the area itself is absolutely breathtaking, the gorgeous stream running alongside camp, Mountain View’s surrounding the area and a lovely pub pizza barn and cafe only a short walk away, they truly went above and beyond and I cannot recommend this site enough! I will be back!! Disliked: The pitches are a little closer than some sites but even on peak capacity on the Saturday we still didn’t feel squashed which was a plus

Liked: Really nice campsite with a handful of pitches, nice, clean facilities and a truly fantastic pub around the corner. The pizza night was also a real highlight. Good instructions and general information from the owners were also gratefully received. Disliked: This is no fault of the campsite, and they are very upfront about this in the information they send, but just beware that the pitches by the river (15-20 i think) are particularly bad for midges because they are near areas of standing water. We had to move to the pitches by the main car park because we were being bitten alive.

Liked: Very quiet site. Facilities spotless. Great location. Fantastic showers. Disliked: Not really dislikes as the positives more than made up for everything. No hot water in the camping fields - just boil a kettle! Could do with a site map at the entrance as everyone always looks lost when they first arrive- read your arrival email in full before you get there.

Liked: I absolutely loved this campsite. To camp near the river and have the sounds of the birds too just made it perfect. The toilets are clean and ideal and it’s a 5 minute walk to the most wonderful pub called The Yew Tree which serves incredible food and are very welcoming. You can bag some great Wainwrights from this site as well. It’s a lovely, quiet spot and I felt so safe being here which meant a lot as a solo camper. I loved this place so much and immediately said I’d be coming back and have recommended it to my friends and my parents. Disliked: The fact I can’t just live here permanently! I was in heaven :-)
